Copying Glued Artmeshes onto different layers? | Live2D Community | Page 1

I have a model I'm trying to glue the stomach and the hips together. Both parts have underfill to serve as outlines. The hips and the hips' outlines have the exact same mesh and the stomach and the stomach outline have the same mesh. I figured I could glue the stomach outlines to the hip outlines, copy the meshes and glue and apply to the actual stomach and outlines. But when I copy glue, it also copies that parts. It can't seem to find a way to copy the glue weights or to replace the art in the second subset of the glue parts set without affecting the former. I'd prefer to not merge the outlines with their parts for clipping reasons.

TLDR: how do you copy glue + art meshes, but put different images inside of them?

glue is linked to the artmesh it was created on
you can not take it and move it to another diferent artmesh

I don't suppose there's a way to copy glue in a way that it creates second copies of project objects, so the objects can be replaced with new objects?

I have the glue applied to the top layers/non underfilling

lets call it, HipSkin and StomackSkin

for benefit of the writting steps

#

1.-Delete your hipUnderfilling and stomachUnderfilling
2.-Select hipSkin, StomachSkin and GlueSkin
3.-Ctrl C > Ctrl V
4.- change the names of the copies from skin to underfilling
5.- select the new hipUnderfilling, go to project tab, open the project, open the bottom folder [model img]
6.-In the model img folder of your psd, look for the hip underfilling texture,
7.-Right click > set as input of selected Artmesh

repeat with the other

[is important you do this in model img, because if you do it in source, it will change both original and copy artmeshes]
