So I'm running into an issue as to where the artmesh as a gradient to it and any time I try to mask it, it gives me this error message which I can't get rid of no matter what I do (the only way this goes away for me is if I unselect the masks), In turn it's caused issues when I exported it and any tutorials I look up doesn't resolve my issue
#Assign Clipping Mask To Mask Art Meshes Have Problems

do you have the masks keyed to parameters, but don't have a key at the max and min values?
that last part confuses me as i have no idea how to even change the values
when you click on the mask, in the parameter its keyed to, is there a green dot at the very left and very right
if not, you need to add them. you cant have something just keyed to the center bit of a parameter
yes there are green dots on the left and right of each of the respective parameters
do you have folders turned off when exporting?
what does "the artmesh has a gradient" mean?
What I mean is that the gradients are tied to each part of the eye
sorry if it's confusing, I'm just as confused as I haven't touched the program in years
and these three gradient layers are clipped to that massive list of artmeshes?
yes on each individual eye lines
did you check all of them to make sure they have a key at the max and min of every parameter they are keyed to?
the thing is, this is also a line boil model, where each line is animated to simulate movoement
everything works fine when it's in the physics menu but the eyes break when in vtube studio
but the error message youre getting is in live2d right
https://docs.live2d.com/en/cubism-editor-manual/clipping-mask/
you can scroll down to the "mask warnings" section and see if something here solves your issue
so these are the errors im running into
seems to be both key lost and armess hidden errors
i think you need to check all of those layers carefully and resolve those issues. then try to clip and export again
yeah I'll do a simple resolve for now and fix the core inssue later. Thanks so much for your help!
