#Gap in my glue?

I was almost certain that I'd glued this correctly (went around the full circle and connected both ends of the rectangle bar to the same point so that it'd go all the way around) but I still have this gap and I don't really know why? I can't tell from the mesh or the glue either so if anyone knows what might be causing this and how I can fix it without redoing all of rigs in the hat I would greatly appreciate it

you want the circle of the big one to go up to mimic the hole?

no, I have a separate shadow layer for that

#

I'm just trying to fix this

ok the issue is that therectangle is not glued closed

#

what about you make a ring instead of a rectangle?

I don't think I understand sorry

ok, imagine a ring
that is grey with a red in the middle

#

you use that you glue the inside to the top and the outside to the bottom

ah, I see

#

I suppose I could try that yes

#

is there any way I could fix it as it is now without redoing the glue or is redoing it the only way

how is the mesh of the tectangle?

how is the mesh?

yes

the mesh looks like this if that's what you mean

ok your issue is that yo have empty space on both ends, so when you glued it, you also got that same empty space
