Heya- can anyone help me how I should rig this mouth properly? As you know, I JUST started with the mouth and rn i am trying to do the mouth open parameter. However, I just feel like no matter how the top lip is moved, something about it just looks wrong.

It could be because you haven't touched the lower lip line yet or because the inner mouth isn't moving with the lip lines or the jaw isn't moving with the opening of the mouth (aka you are in the "ugly" part of rigging, so it's best to do rough "ugly" motions, then clean it up with other motions like the ones I suggested)
You can glue the lip lines to the inner mouth so it opens and closes together if it helps to some extent
