So I’m not entirely sure how youre hierarchy is set up even with the displayed deformer tab but since its pretty nested, are you sure you have all the objects rigged to that parameter selected? In this case, you might want to check if theres a child deformer or object you may have missed bc only copying the parent without the child (if the child is also rigged to the parameter) might have weird results on pasting.

Yes since I just did select on the actual parameter
It might have to do with them not all in the same level
But it still doesnt work with everything in the same deformer and all on the same level so I am not sure. I think I will just revert to the older version. But it is quite weird 
Also deleting the videos since unfortunately I cant publish the rigging yet but thank you for the answers
