so I'm trying to set up toggles for the different eye versions, i can't seem to get it to work right. at certain angles, the regular eye blinking cuts through and i don't understand what could be causing it; any help or advice is appreciated; i just started to learn to rig yesterday; i attached a video showing what i mean, as well as a snippet of my hierarchy and parameters
#toggle doesn't stay toggle

Hey, I'm new to rigging too but I think I know how to help you, Live2D parameters usually work along other parameters at the same time, which means that you rigged that specific toggles parameters while another parameter was "in use" if you know what I mean
basically you've not set all the keyframes so it can stay toggled off along another parameters
try selecting the toggles meshes (eyes) doing this
and then it shall show you with parameters your eyes are being binded to
Admittedly it's kind of difficult to tell what's in what deformer, but is your toggle rigged on the same deformer as your blink? If so, that's probably your issue. It's better to put every "normal eye" art layer into one deformer and then link the on/off parameter to that
looks like you may have keyed the opacity for the normal eyes on the toggle but didnt check for all the permutations so that when the eyes close with toggle one, opacity is still 100% for normal eyes
It was defiantly an opacity problem, it only showed up in certain angles it was just more noticeable on the blinks. And for clarification, I had set the opacity to the layers not the meshes, so that it didn’t interfere with the parameters I had for the blinking, and eye xy. So out of luck in fixing it through the other parameters (it didn’t do it on anything but my toggle parameter) I went on the parameter for the toggle I ended up finding a option called multiple key editing and overided the opacity through that; was able to fix it that way; if I ever run into a problem similar to this in the future I’ll be sure to run back here for a solution if what I did now doesn’t work the the future <3 thank you guys for your help @jolly finch @eternal crag @limber cedar
