Hello! I am trying to figure out how to separate out feathered wings, I found a really nice short on youtube (video by malliesprout!!) with the screenshotted wings vs mine underneath, I'm trying to figure out how they did it? I circled the separation best I figured it was made, all the main flight (circled green) feathers would be separated, then everything else is combined augNoted

Does anybody have any advice? I'll post the video link as well nodders I've never done feathered wings before and I am STRUGGLIN nooo

well first. the wing is divided into 3 main parts here. the part that connects to body, the part that extends, and the end feathers there.

#

then the wing is divided as shown. as you deduced correctly initially, all of the end feathers in blue are separate. but rest of wing i believe can only be one part (unless you wish to have extra physics in other places that would be better done with individual parts)

as someone who worked with very complex wings

I've dealt with every feather separated
