I have a character with a braid on the side of their head.
Right now, I'm just working on the sketch, so I have a bit of time until I have to worry about it - but how would I go about cutting that?

I would for sure draw out the braid flat, similar to the sideview, and if you're not the rigger, sketch out references for how the braid is supposed to look like from the front and from the side
