could it be the onion skin maybe?
im like super new, what’s that?
on the bottom of your window, almost close to the lips
do you see that icon that has like 3 circles each one darker than the previous
yes
click it
done
did it fixed the eye?
nope, same thing
ok, can you do the same with the folder of the bangs?
ok you have
your eyes at 509
the face at 500
and your hair at 550
that means
your hair is infront of your eyes
and your eyes infront of your face
yeah i tried making the eyes 500 or 499 drawing id, to make it go under the face, but when i do that it just completely disappears
and idk how else to make it show
without overlapping
well if you moved it 499 is not that disapeared, but that i went behind the face
it does that too for 500
i believe
your issue goes more with the fact you are not clipping the eyes to the sclera, and instead you are using draw order for everything
draw order is not really recomended unless you are doing videogames, or you are actually animating the change of the layers order
i haven't learned about the clipping part yet, so i had no idea, was just watching a video and the person in was using draw order
oh, i understand, maybe i would recomend you to watch basic videos better [[Brian has some with the basic concepts]]
i know there are some tutorials that are based on premade-files that has the draworder and they just do it because its done there, but it just make issues to those that are learning
i would recomend you to organize your layers all at 500
and organize them as they should look
the eyes higher than the face, the bangs higher than everything, etc.
clipping is a way to make sure a layer only shows inside [or outside] of another one
for example, you want your eyeball only be visible on the sclera,
so you copy the ID of the sclera, and write it on the "clipping" slot of the eyeball
this will make that the eyeball only shows in the sclera and not outside [[this is helful too for you when you do the close/open of the eye
