#Rigging a face mask with a pattern on it.

Hello ! I've been trying to rig my own model for a few days now and if things have been going pretty smoothly, I've hit a bit of a wall when it comes to my facemask. I am not entirely sure as to how I should tackle that thing. I have tried changing the auto mesh to heavy deformation and work with that, which... Works for the most part, but it deforms the texture pretty badly. I've tried manually meshing the whiskers, but it didn't work so well. Could anyone give me some pointers as to how I could redo the mesh so the deformation would keep the whiskers looking fine and not too deformed ? Here is a picture of the mask to go with my question.

Thank you in advance !

something you could do is separate the shadow of the mask, the pattern and the mask itself
This way you can manipulate the elements to adapt better to the rotation of the head

Alright, thank you for the quick response ! I'll contact my artist to see if they could do that for me. Is there any rule against me keeping this open if I need more advice ?
