Most Important Bugs:

  • Fixed Resource Rarity & Timers - Resource nodes have a fixed rarity, and allow people to set up timers to come back to specific resource nodes if that node produces high rarity materials.

Most Important Feedback Topics:

  • Solo Progression Avenues - How are new players likely to progress if they are unable to find low level groups. This can cause the feeling of being softlocked. This issue might also become exacerbated when Rogue releases, and 50% of the low level players are all rogues.
  • Death Penalty On Tanks - With Tanks dying so often, there are long term economic implications for those who are playing Tanks. They will earn significantly less glint, and therefore gold during their playtime. Gold subsequently is used by almost every other system in the game.
  • Tank in general (grit changes feel like chinese water torture)

  1. Caravans teleporting you to carphin
  2. Guild wars getting stuck at 0-0 instead of showing actual score.
  3. Being forced to leave groups to go attacker/defender on caravans.

  1. The way resource respawning works continues to destroy the gameplay
  2. Re-balance and re-enable guild/node war rewards. Whatever it takes to fix this so that guilds have reason to pvp each other.
  3. Fix desert recipes like agave that don't have that ability to be processed.

  1. Hunting Rarity does not work, this affects any profession outcomes that are in touch with any skin, bones, animal fat, weapon or armor molds or food

  2. Unable to attack or defend caravan while you are in a party, you always have to fully disband party, choose attack/defend, and reinvite

  1. Guild - level one takes way too long. I do remember that the guild skilltree was ment to compete with smaller guilds vs bigger guilds, but atm its impossible to level up as a smaller guild because of the big invest that has to be done for a single player

  2. Mitigation in PvP. Nerf Player VS Player DMG by a significant amount, test different values during different weeks. Armor values seem useless, penetration too powerful

  1. The mounts getting locked into static animation.
  2. when taking fall dmg, you are marked as in combat and cannot call your mount
  3. The huntable spawns dont always disappear after hunting, resulting in a bug of them being visible, but not huntable.

  1. I love treasure hunting, but have stacks of unusable curio coins taking up valuable slots. Increase stack size until there is use
  2. the Hunting Pylons just dont make sense.. They last for 15 minutes, but most spawns are far outside this window. This means a pylon will cover 3 (max) spawns, usually 1.
  3. I understand that scribe and alchemy are just shells of what they will be, but adding in more of their catalog will make those professions actually playable.

  1. Mobs getting stuck, If a mob hasn't been damaged for x amount of time, reset/respawn it if it isn't responsive/at it's normal spawn.
  2. Resources spawning in inaccessible locations.
  3. Caravan bugs - despawning teleporting etc.

  1. Nerf Enchanting for main stats (str/dex/int/wis), it's causing crazy power spikes from enchanting 10 gear because it's cheap and makes defensive stats irrelevant.
  2. Fixed rarity gathering has GOT to go, no one enjoys camping a single node every 4 hours.
  3. We still are barely getting to journeyman artisan skills, please make default for nodes apprentice and T1 buildings journeyman.

Top 3 Bugs:

  1. Inventory bugs and storage ones, fixed with relogs
  2. Summoning mounts is cancelled by any buffs or debuffs. For example bards melodies or clerics soothing glow
  3. Logging out with a caravan beacon bugs it out and it is essentially lost

Top 5 Feedback Topics:

  1. Main attributes (STR, DEX etc) provide too much for one point. Which means everyone prioritises those stats, mainly offensive ones (also making TTK very fast), rendering gear without those stats or less of them useless (Such as rividium armour). Enchanting enhances this issue as it's just a straight +1 to all stats at this stage. Possible solution: Change STR, DEX, INT and WIS to just give 1 point in each to see how it impacts gameplay (just do this change for one day as a test).
  2. Gathering gameplay is predictable and rather dull. People set timers and just go afk until it respawns. Getting lucky with certain nodes early on can guarantee you 100g+ a day with only 10 mins effective gameplay. Possible solution: Gathering nodes should be completely randomised, resource type, quantity and rarity. (other than biome based ones ofc). Reset the cycle everytime a node is mined. Reward players for actually playing, putting time in and grinding the artisan system, rather than people who work from home and are able to set timers.
  3. Treat this alpha test as more of a test realm, as everyone says it is. Why not try big changes for a day just to see how they are? such as with the stats and enchanting. I know there's a seperate PTR for new content etc which I agree with. However it feels it's being handled more like a live release than a testing realm. Give us instructions etc. I'm ready to do my part! 😄
  4. Respawn penalty is non-existent. A problem in all pvp systems, especially when contesting boss spawns and in caravans. Those trying to contest continue to attack relentlessly. Add exponential respawn timers
  5. Cleric more dmg, reduce self heal potential

  1. Critical Inventory / Storage Disappearance
  2. Bugged Nodes (unharvestable).
  3. enemy players don't go red for stunning group healers resulting in unflagged party Player death. Recomnd: Any Flagging action on any party member, with resulting party death(s) within 90 seconds, causes Red Name/Corruption. This puts the onus on initiating attacker. #stop lowbie glint-farming!
  4. Loot selecting Need or Greed stops/cancels Character movement (as does manipulating the minimap)
  5. Casting healing spells while character is NON-LOS (runs behind a tree/ around corner / over hill) changes intended target permanently, rather than simply cancels casting; should at least de-select target instead of picking a random new party member and waste casting unnecessary spell. (I think the same issue holds true for auto-attack?)

A) Known NODE respawn time & type. Recomnd: Have Nodes spawn a random (but appropriate) type, but have un-harvested Nodes increase in rarity over time, then die & random Respawn (all at VERY random timers).
B) GUILD Progress is too imbalanced against smaller guilds. Have required Exp be exponential and rewards commensurate.
C) Please please have a separate "LFG/LFM Grouping" and a "WTB/WTS Auction" channel for Global Chat
D) Loot that was Need/Greed'ed ... PLEASE have that auto-fill into inventory/ no need to run back to get it.
E) Clerics need an Party-wide 'Cure' spell

  1. Gatherable rarity being decided on spawn and continuing that rarity regardless of any skill. Im sure you know what we are talking about - but whats the point of increasing skill if you just find a legendary node and farm it until server down?
  2. Client stability, if I log out and back in to the same character my client will hard lock after a certain period.
  3. Invisible mobs killing you through walls.

  1. Caravan attackers still need some risk. I suggested on reddit to make them buy an item to enable them to attack thats consumed upon attacking.
  2. Zergs. Still the main problem. Will continue to be the problem. Will be the end of this game if allowed.
  3. Ranger feels half baked compared to other classes, and Tank seems lost in terms of vision.

  1. People exploiting the flag system to force flag other players

  2. out of event healing is still present

  3. world bosses bugging (or being bugged) in to terrain and buildings making loot unobtainable as they appear to have no structure collision

  4. guilds/players purposely bugging caravans where they can't be flagged against as defender or attacker.

  1. can we get the items in recipes available. such as the janie anybones pinup. it's frustrating not having these items in the game but the recipes obtainable

  2. voting for mayors need to be locked to accounts, not per character. this makes for a very unfair testing ground for those trying to legitimately test the systems asked of us

  3. dynamic node spawns with proper use of rarity rating use would br great.

  4. still awaiting the artisan skill trees. Really hoping they will be as good as we suspect them to be

  5. guild war declare scrolls are still being expoilted by guilds already punished for their exploitation early on as a way to kill crafters for no risk due to there being no wind up time for the war to start. This is the sane for node wars. It's the same guilds every time

  1. Items disappearing en masse from player storage, both randomly, but especially after a citizenship switch.
  2. Broken mob spawns: mobs spawning as low levels, not respawning at all
  3. Rapidly switching between tab-targeting and active targeting, can result in a weird bug which makes your character move in a different direction than provided by the player input

  1. Way too high influence of the base stats such as intelligence, strength, dex on player damage output
  2. Static resource locations, respawn timers and quality basically broke any idea of "testing the economy".
  3. You cannot join a caravan's attack and defence as a party/raid
  4. The unnecessary, especially at this stage, "grindiness" of a lot of game systems adds to playtester burn out / retention issues
  1. Lack of balance and broken group pvp content adds to playtester retention issue
  2. Bard active damage abilities nerfed into the ground
  3. Why items like node cloaks with specific stats such as physical or magical are locked behind a specific citizenship?
  4. Switching citizenship and returning to the old node citizenship results in far higher tax burden. Terrible design.

  1. Can you please clarify coal? I hit over 200 rocks between today and yesterday of varying gathering levels (nov, app, JM) and have not gotten one since this patch. Were the drop rates heavily reduced? the amount of high rarity needed for steel is insane to the availability (similar to fat)

  1. when typing you also do all actions of the bound keys which makes you unable to properly report bugs too...
  2. if there are actually offensive or even in parts illegal names you should take more care moderating.
  3. Bard songs stop playing randomly sometimes << if this is back in too like someone else posted here then that sounds even more like you reintroduced tons of bugs again that were fixed maybe while merging two versions or smth .-.

  2. riverland maps can give desert locations
  3. npcs in desert stop attacking / freeze
  4. in the desert below miraleth you can walk under the map and be invisible but still fight

  1. i would appreciate being able to open the menu, report bugs, etc while SITTING ^^ its kinda annoying it doesnt work
  2. there are a lot of map glitches recently again where you just stop walking, sink into the ground etc.
  3. the desert crocodile role stun oneshots me which seems a bit annoying ^^
  4. the aggro range is still really... fun... if you can ride away with speed buff for 2 minutes and still get chased... like i said in the past it could easily get reduced by 2/3 and would still be further than other games
  5. go harder against griefers / people that dont respect bug reporting and stuff
  6. rarities feel imbalanced currently e.g. its super rare to get legendary resources right but then the difference in gear is quite tiny so there feels like a disconnect

  1. Fixed resource rarity & spawns - e.g. if a Willow spawns as legendary, it then respawns as legeandary every 4h until server restart. So people just camp it on a timer..
  2. Unable to join caravan as attacker/ defender while in group/raid - you need to leave group - select attack/defend - then rejoin.
  3. Mage Cone of Cold applies frozen effect with 1-2 seconds delay atm
  4. Caravan driver protection does not work - easily can get killed before you can even dismount

  1. TTK too low across the board - especially Bard pvp damage is completely nuts atm
  2. Lumberjacking needs more types of trees in t2/t3 - at the moment willow is a super blocker as all recipes require it (as there is no other t2 wood)

If I’m looking for Recipes for example, idc about materials, if the shops empty of what I need let me move on. What’s worse, the next shop I move to will be on the materials tab, forcing me to click back to items. Undo this change please.

  1. Rarity of nodes being fixed instead of randomly rolling depending on your resource quality (It causes each epic and legendary node to be contested by the big guilds and there to be nothing left for the other players.)

  1. Stonemasonry is not in a great spot atm. As one of the processing skills that is utilized alot less then the others, the most/only important thing a stonemason can make are the weapon molds. Each processing profession has their specific gathering skill(s) that gather the materials for these professions. Lumber milling has lumber jacking, metalworking has mining, tanning has hunting, weaving has herbalism, etc. Stonemasonry doesn't just need mining, but also hunting/tanning for animal fat and herbalism and weaving for thread. The last two also need to be upgraded to journeyman to even be able to craft the journeyman level molds. Why does stonemasonry need 3 gathering professions + another processing profession to be able to make their signature items all on their own? And yes you can work together with other players or buy the items from others but that doesn't change the fact really that it is the odd one out of the group of processing professions that are currently available.

  2. To my understanding, willow tree spawn locations are partially shared with briarwood trees. On Lotharia we have the problem currently of having max level nodes but none of the city's having journeyman lumberjacking. This causes weeping willow to be by far more needed then the other kinds of wood and there to be alot less available on the market. This is already causing the price of willow wood to sky rocket, there is a possibility for guilds to abuse this in the future. Would it be possible to change/add a few spawn locations for weeping willow?

  1. Lack of spin-up time for war-dec's being exploited by guilds to snatch mats from characters crafting/waiting in town.
  2. View distance far too low for NPC's and PC's

  1. Caravans become immune to damage for 1 minute when their driver respawns at an emberspring.

  2. Guild war spin up times still don't work

  3. The "Penetration" Stat does not stop when enemy mitigation reaches 0% and simply keeps going. Tested for both PvP and PvE enemies.

  1. Gathering nodes are static and in fixed timers. While probably not a bug and just a temporary system, this is my single biggest concern atm since it completely destroys the gathering professions as all the legendary nodes are controlled by a small number of people every time they spawn.

  2. Stat power scaling is fundamentally flawed even after the "squish" from P1. The enchanting system shows this very well as with it you can reach these high mainstat numbers. Everything encourages gearing for offensive stats, since mitigation does not scale nearly enough to keep up with ability damage once people start getting 2-3 mainstat gear and enchanting these to +8 leading to the current one-shot pvp burst metas.
    Example (Fighter): 1 Strength point increase gives you 1 more damage on your Blitz, however that same increase gives you 2.75 more damage with a Cataclysm. Making the big hitting abilities spiral out of control.

  1. Fixed rarities and respawn timers for gathering "nodes" shouldnt be a thing. Probably bugged/not implemented correctly atm?
  2. Camouflage is not working properly.
  3. Caravan carphin teleport is still in the game. quite annoying.

  1. TTK in PvP is WAY too low. Oneshotting people is no fun. Dying to a oneshot, even less.
  2. Defensive stats dont do enough/are worthless compared to offensive stats.

  5. healers feel useless with this TTK in PvP, especially after the nerf.

1)Getting teleported to Carph during Caravans
2)Not being able to swap weapon so you cant attack, only fix I know of is to relog
3)Caravan flagging being really buggy/annoying

1)Static spawns for nodes, people just get timers for legendaries and just sit on it all day
2)Better ways to farm glint, the best farms have been nerfed and it is a annoying process especially with stolen glint being useless
3)Medium armor is to hard to farm, its way harder to make medium armor than any other armor type.
4)Journeyman Scrolls are very annoying to get.
5)Coal is impossible to get at a high rarity, needing 20 legendary coal/steel for just one greatsword is way to much. The difference between getting a bow made compared to any weapon that uses a large amount of ingots is ridiculous.

  1. resource nodes that are under ground and or not harvestable
  2. Inventory lock / storage lock bug that requires you to log in and out to correct
  3. mayor commision quests not updating the correct number once you complete one. So if it says 50/100 and you click complete commsions it should say 51/100

  1. static resource spawns.... You have to add a random modifier on resource nodes
  2. the ability to process a set number of resources
  3. just overall bugs in caravans making them a pita to do cause of fear of lossing them to bugs

  1. Buff on caravana raider don't work and you are basicly oneshoted by anything.
  2. Mobs should focus caravana not raider
  3. When you crash on caravana you need to wait some time before you log in because it will be instant crash if you do so.

  1. Party leader should be able to join caravana events as whole raid party. Disbanding and rebanding the party is anoying and destroy any ambush.

  2. Re-think about enchanting system. lvl 10 gear should not be able to overlap set gears for 20lvl. It's funny that basic shit gear on +8 give you Time to kill around 2-3s.

Top Feedback:
I would like to see some rarity improvements, something similar to Last Oasis perhaps? Where rarities are represented as 0-500. A surveying telescope will let you pick out the higher rarity gatherables. Your Gathering scales with what Rarity of tools you have. Any Rarity other than 0 will give you a Rarity 1 item using a 0 rarity tool, then will you build your Rarity 1 tool, it scales quickly, and you start climbing the tree of higher and higher rarity.

Haven't really played enough to have bug reports yet, only 30 hours or so

  1. Only progression is grinding mobs. I think a refined quest system would do wonders. I'm sure there's one planned.
  2. It's only a test, and it takes AGES to grind out the levels you need to get max level. Current systems (I expect) are not end-game, so why not 2-3x xp gain to let people test every class/profession? I assume this will be wiped going into Alpha 2 step 3
  3. No real ways to progress except grinding. Would be cool to see town progression count more toward player progression too. But not to the level New World had it where you could exploit the board to get max level if you just purchased everything on the AH.

  1. Guild XP system - please make this a background xp system where you gain it from whatever you do, just make the xp a quarter of the main tasks reward.

The enchanting system, scrap it just add more varieties of gear, from the people ive spoken too they either would like to see enchants be like a 1 time thing where you add an effect like element based damage or something or just see it completely removed because these stat increases are locking guilds out of the game when certain guilds attain these goals so fast and can slow the server.

  3. Some Hunting Creatures provide their mount counterparts greater than 80% of the time. Bears for example provide their Trainable version far more often than the carcasses version making their craftables nearly meaningless.

  2. Dropping guild should have harsher penalties. People are constantly dropping to dodge wars or to not be targeted in the open world. There is no point to the social / political aspect of the sandbox if it's so easy to circumvent.

  1. Gathering rarity system. As it sits it seems there are multiple systems that govern rarity drop rate. The first most simplest system is that rarity of a dropped item or gatherable is tied to a simple 1/10 for uncommon 1/100 for rare 1/1000 for heroic etc. Then there is some sort of node system in which when a resource spawns it has some inherent rarity meaning that someone without any rarity rating may just randomly get legendary resources. Then there are static nodes and dynamic nodes. That is nodes that will spawn a particular resource no matter what and follow a spawn timer (static) and nodes that will respawn dynamically throughout an area. Basically what this boils down to is that some resources are locked to a very slim chance to ever get high rarity while others have a locked in rarity and can be camped on respawn if the timer is known. This allows people to put an alt on that known respawn and they can’t be competed against since that requires CCing them which isn’t supposed to be allowed.

  2. I know that lawless zones are largely against Steven’s vision for the game but having rare resources spawn in a lawless zone has been really fun. With the advent of Daystriders my own guild has been setting up events to go run around the lawless zone and take these resources. It’s been fun and engaging and I’d like to see more content like it.

  3. I think that the processing system should maintain having this non-mix match idea until at least the rest of the gathering system is fixed to allow us to observe how having access to higher rarity resources such as animal fat meshes with the system.

    Many times in an MMO when you enter a new zone you have iconic music, iconic creatures and a different dynamic.
    I understand that this is an Alpha and that more will be implemented but right now the world feels very copied and pasted.
    There is no difference in mobs when you go from new aela to miraleth. they are all the same. and the mobs in desert are also the same three mobs.

  2. hunting and husbandry:
    Hunting has no vybe to is basically petting animals to death
    Hunting rarity is basicaly 0 when you wanna aim above heroic rarity
    Husbandry is TOO EXPENSIVE. a T1 animal shouldnt cost 55s. and the entire artisan in itself should not be a gold sink... its an artisan...you dont wanna run broke because you decided to lvl husbandry

  3. Mounts dropped by bosses:
    This might be a very very very hot take when it comes to mounts dropped from bosses. but right now the BIS slot mounts can be dropped by a boss and not by hunting them? what is the point of anyone ever lvling hunting when it comes to mounts if they can just simply kill the boss and get the mount through Mob drops.... mounts should either have increased drop chance for those who artisan husbandry or players with hunting should spawn bosses. like i hunted 30 wolves so an alpha wolf comes as retaliation... but to have 80 people spam a lion of which 2 have husbandry is insane...

  4. Remove enchanting!!!
    Enchanting is too overpowered. It shouldnt be the case where a lvl 10 with enchanted gear outdps, outheals me who has a full lvl 20 set.... there is no reason for anyone to go into dungeons or raids at this point if lvl 10 gear + enchants is BIS its ridiculous

Bug:

  1. Allow the raid leader or party leader to sign up as defender / attacker on caravan for entire raid/party. Disbanding the raid / party for everyone to sign up is nuts.
  2. Cleric being able to heal players in wars or caravans fights, outside of event, without flagging…
  3. The change to market to switch to materials tab if there is no items, is the most annoying thing in history of all the marketplaces in games as now it stays permanently on materials when you browse items... Just make it overall that a player may choose if they are looking for material or for items for all the stalls...
  4. Sometimes if you cross the zone border and continue riding no matter how far, if you dismount it will teleport you back...
  5. Driving a caravan may teleport you to Carphin Tower Emberspring for some reason.
  6. Caravans should not have spawn protection if you kill a driver.
  7. Bard Songs stops from (de)summon mounts.
  8. Abilities are bugging out across all classes, incl. sound effects, casting double (e.g. Scatter shot), camouflage not working as intended.
  9. Lag spikes across the board on max spec PC while traveling through zones or farming or when night and day changes.
  10. Drowning does not give XP penalty - Free teleport.

Feedback:

  1. Please do not schedule maintenance on the EU Prime Time. Alternatively, please do share the timer in advance so we could plan better events.
  2. People destroying their caravans to prevent you from destroying is plainly stupid design. Same for spawn protection for caravans if you kill the driver..
  3. Too fast TTK in PvP - it’s a one-two shot fiesta.
  4. Allow us to zoom out the camera more.
  5. Current enchanting systems forces you to enchant items with lots of attributes. Overall gear progression is too simple.
  6. Glint farm is abysmal, all grind spots were nerfed, there is no reasonable place to farm solo or in group for longer time.
  7. Glint drop in party is a troll. Very inconsistent between members. In my eyes each time the glint is dropped, it should drop for each party member separately for them to pick up. Otherwise you discourage group glint farm.
  8. Add some new, easy to add & fun content, some leaderboards, some extra features that will keep us engage in testing - Low effort - high value.
  9. Change how the named mob respawn. Having 20 people swinging in same location during spawn window is, oh well...
  10. Make the locations overall more fun with some zone progression in them to actually change with amounts of mobs slaughtered, e.g. more respawns, more elites, named mob may spawn after you do X, Y or Z.
  11. Add more PvP zones that are actually worth visiting and taking the risk to farm, currently there are none. PvP zones could rotate across all mini zones and add extra loot chance / more glint / unique PvP loot to encourage all to come.

Weekly Feedback UX/UI edition (Mainly issues with the world map and chat filtering)

Top 3-5 Most Important Bugs:

  1. Player markers are not shown on the Regional view. You can rapidly click the Party Member map legend in order to force display it on the Regional view which seems there is a UX/UI issue where some data is not retained properly for the player markers to be displayed on the Regional view.

  2. Player markers are sometimes not showing at all even being close to the players. This seems to be more of an issue when in a raid which contains more than 8 people causing issues for having people gather up or finding out where the rest of the group is located.

  3. When typing certain words the chat filter that is in place is to aggressive causing some things to not be allowed to type out at all. This includes an in-game item for the market board to never be allowed to be listed as Cocoon which can be quite disruptive for market board listings since that is what most people will possibly try to search.

  1. Quest markers are not unified between Local and Regional view. This makes it quite hard when you have to figure out if this is a quest that is only available to view in Local only or in both. This is quite disruptive as a UX/UI aspect when it comes to interacting with the Quest systems.

  2. POI markers disappear when in the region view making it harder to find where certain locations might be when referring to it in the game.

  3. The chat filter it self is way to aggressive in all forms of words which points to it being a Regex match case without more input which is a bad way to do chat filtering. Look at some online services how they did chat filtering by ranking full on words at how bad they are just based on every combination of how their used in sentences. This I know can be quite time consuming to implement but in its current state does not allow for good chat communication.

Quite a lengthy one since I know this part of game/web design patterns with its terminology and what impacts it can have.

  2. Hunting tools, gear, and consumables- The numbers are inconsistent and do not match up. The JM hunting elixir is a great example of this where there is no change in rarity at all.

  3. A way to move mounts/BoBs back into the economy would be amazing. I think Steven mentioned potentially having limited lives and then the BoB or mount turning into a carcass and used in a new way. This would be amazing and would also potentially help with the massive issue we are seeing with the extreme rarity of carcasses from rare and beyond.

  1. Caravan immunity for people who continue to launch at downtimes to try to spawn an event that can't be attacked when servers restart. Keep this from happening and ban repeat offenders.
  2. Getting teleported to Carph during caravans sucks and has to stop being a thing, this has gone on far too long.
  3. Collision bugs where exploiters drag mobs to a wall and get it to bug out by being slightly higher up...this has to stop and they need a ban.

  1. Gathering-You shouldn't be able to camp a legendary willow or whatever every 4 hours. Gathering has to change immediately, it's trash and nobody likes it. The entire economy and all gathering and guild relations revolve around sharing timers for mats and trying to get the hit when servers come up. Boring. Kills the game for gatherers, most I know have stopped playing.
  2. Class identity- Mage as a Ranged DPS has no ability to maintain distance in a fight other than a move tied to our cc break. We are a ranged dps, everyone else has a kick, silence, and the ability to close the gap. This is a poor, inflexible design. CC break should be tied to Shield for mages, not blink, our only mobility. We need more flexibility, especially w the buffs to fighter, considering the number of kicks/stuns/silence etc bards and fighters have, which other classes also enjoy. We have little to no options compared to every other class, even ranger has a combo silence. Our incap is weak and slow cast. If we are going to be so inflexible, perhaps don't nerf our main combo and AoE dmg ability as a Range DPS that should function as a glass cannon...our class identity is much the weaker for it.
  3. There needs to be some form of punishment/downside for attackers of caravan events. Everything already drives you to PvP. PvP is fun, sure, and caravans are high risk high reward for the person running it. They also function as an open world pvp event. Cool. It should still be high risk high reward for an attacker as well. Right now, it's all upside, with essentially zero downside to attacking any caravan. That has to change. I'm aware it will eventually, supposedly be a faction thing for nodes, but right now you could simply up the % durability loss for attackers. Something, anything to encourage people to run them and not simply attack, adding balance.

It does not need to be a WoW style group maker, just a notice board in game instead of using tools like Discord that takes you out of the game. 3) Chat system overhaul. It is very clunky managing global chat, party chat, and tells. This is nearly impossible to navigate effectively if you are looking for more people for a group and in the middle of combat. You almost have to have the entire group stop while you try to invite them.

All these new items do is clutter up an already bursting inventory.
  2. Node Tab - If you're not a citizen, you're able to see other node info. Once you become a citizen, you lose access to that info and get new info - why lose the old? Also, I'd suggest adding a tab to find out what crafting/bldgs are available at a node on the tab so people don't have to ask every two minutes.
  3. I understand that carcass drops are the way rarity should be working, and I'm all for it. Please increase the quantity of animals available in the future though. The main reason I'm asking for this is for medium armor (tends to use a lot of hides) which currently unbalances the availability of certain gear [Though I'm guessing this will be addressed in the long term, I'm feedbacking based on current build as requested]

  1. Resource nodes (all types) - need to be randomized based on the gear I am carrying and using (e.g. proper chance at rarities regardless of what node I harvest); tired of people camping legendary nodes and breaking the economy. Fixing this would significantly impact #2 below:
  2. Players that choose to attack non-PVP flagged players (e.g. stun/sleep/cc to break resource gathering), should be immediately set to corrupted and incur the appropriate penalty. Too many L20+ are doing it to significantly lower players all the time, again - primarily because of #1 above.
  3. Marketplace needs basic item search functionality along with sort by price. I feel most days I spend more time in the marketplace than I do playing the game. I know that's just a perception and not reality, but it really needs some love.

  1. Node city taxes are BROKEN AF. I get that taxes should go up based on node population, but EVERYONE should be paying the exact same increased rate. Just because I joined the city weeks after the server was wiped, shouldn't mean I'm punished by hundreds of tax receipts, while I player that joined on day one is paying <10 receipts. Over time, as a node population grows, everyone's tax burden should be equal.
  2. Please fix the friend/ignore Social functionality (e.g. /ignore playername in a chat window). This was working 2+ weeks ago, but has been broken since at least 31-Jan patch. My friend and ignore list is woefully out of date to what reality should be.
  3. Guild progression costs are still way too high.

Having to sit at a spawn point all day just to get beat out by someone who knows the exact timer and camps the spawn is a pretty lame way to play a game and it’s demoralizing. An option to reduce this issue is to add the drop at a low chance to all enemies in the surrounding area. Or to make the named mob have 2-4 spawn points not within view distance of one another. That way people have to clear their way around the area rather than getting to sit in a corner until the mob spawns.

  1. Ranger Camouflage not activating ~99% of the time, and being targetable while in camo.
  2. Player particles/effects playing when rendering/occluding into view. Not only does this spam audio and visual cues, I'm certain it bogs performance as well. It also immediately reveals the position of anyone in camo, if the camo worked.
  3. Server not updating information and regularly causing UI issues, requiring players to log out almost every 20-30 minutes.
  4. Mount locomotion animations breaking during travel is a particularly frustrating visual bug that I'd love to see fixed, since most of my time in game is spent walking back and forth across the map.

  1. Using the flagging system is unintuitive. If a player is purple or red, players should be able to target and attack them without having to fiddle with whether they're forced flagged or not. A lot of combat doesn't actually take place because players can't tell that they're flagged to be able to attack. Please also consider allowing players to tab target to select flagged/corrupted players.
  2. Please reduce Animal Husbandry costs and or the amount of animals processed in animal husbandry to level. Leveling animal husbandry is very soul crushing and an effort in insanity. Its wildly costly and it takes so many animal materials to get a level. Please lower the initial costs across the board and lower the amount of materials needed for levels, at least until it's properly implemented.
  3. Extreme bottle neck in resources due to player population being too high. Either population needs to be reduced or resources need to be made more available.

  1. Server Performance is poor - gatherables such as tree's don't despawn unless you relog / go to character screen. Render distance is also very poor - players and mobs just pop-in.

  2. Right click to move items to the storage seem really buggy - sometimes it works but usually not. It's a pain when you have a lot of gatherables to transfer into the storage.

  3. My character looks different every time I log in. I don't think I've seen my character look like how I designed it during character creation + my cape has a life of it's own.

  1. Not enough demand in game economy, most items it's better to just vendor it. There's no incentive for most items to be bought / sold.

  2. Not enough incentive to protect caravans, meaning there's less gold spread across the player base - which doesn't help with gold supply. There's too many poor people on the server, the wealthier players don't generate enough demand to keep the economy going.

  3. If players don't generate enough demand for the economy to generate gold, perhaps the nodes can? It's fine for nodes to provide node specific currency - but the node currencies don't have much value right now.

Rarity for hunting is blatantly in favor of tailoring and armorsmithing, hunting quality barely exceeds rare on a blue moon of 1 in 100 huntables and they even need to go through the coin flip of carcass or mount when other gathering professions don't. Sometimes the mounts even feel closer to 80 20 in favor of mounts
  2. Rarity for lumber/mining is not random but static on reset - While freehold is not exceeding Blue. Even at high quality root ball there's no difference from common rootball statistically.
  3. Carcasses don't stack in hunting bag but mounts do.
  4. Many mobs don't return drops equivalent to their level or stars if not don't respawn at all.

  1. Crowbaring is a toxic part of the game that needs changing. As it stands pirating or sore losers are all only crowbarring and wasting valuable cargo simply to deny others from getting them. This would be okay if the event doesn't dissapear almost as soon as crowbaring is available. So you either go complete corrupt or have a caravan ready to pick up loot. And even then you need to outnumber/cc the enemy so overwhelmingly its silly. There's no downside to crowbarring in the game other than player reputation. and yields nearly no rewards.
    In my opinion here is one of several good solutions that may help.
    Mainly: A cast bar that can be interrupted for crowbars. Preferably a minute or so per cargo maybe 30 seconds. This way people can stop others from playing the denial game and give the victors the ability to load cargo and make value in it as well as promote further PvP(instead of it just ending there)

The ideal solution would be a cast bar that turns you purple for crowbarring that can be canceled through cc.

4) some recipes are bugged, and are counting vendor materials as quality material preventing items to be crafted in legendary rarity (i.e.: sephillion ring)

2) there is no risk to attack any caravan, and using crowbar just to ruin people's day, crowbar should be removed from the game, this is also abused a lot by "defending" players sign 1 or 2 people as attackers, just to crowbar boxes if defending side looses the caravan, to prevent attackers from being able to steal commodity cargo
3) ability to sign up the whole group/raid for the caravan event, instead of everyone being forced to leave the group to sign up, and then remake the raid 
4) hunting profession needs to be reworked, as it is terrible experience at the moment, there is not enough hunt-able monsters, high rarity of carcasses is rarer than being struck by lighting, bears hunting yields trainable bear 805 of the time and carcass only 20% of the time

  1. Players constantly underground, I believe this was caused when journeyman mounts came out and it seems to be the mounts that cause it, unsure.
  2. I call them the Carphin Wormholes, Several spots when going to Desert in Caravans along river between Miraleth and AIthanar as well as in the desert between Aith and Azmaran where you can get teleported to carphin. Also just caravans bugging in general needs improvement still.
  3. Maps still bugging, more so in desert many times the treasure mound is just , nowhere. rarely the mound can be found and not looted.
  4. Players able to heal attackers and defeners in caravans without being attacker or defender themselves. This exploit is incredibly unfair. Players should either be unable to heal anyone or any caravan being defended/attacked or at least go flagged/purple if they do so without joining as attacker or defender.

  3. Time to kill in pvp is too fast, defensive scaling feels nonexistant. Everyone at max level is just getting oneshot/onecombod by anyone with 400-500 phys or magic power. 1v1 small scale and large scale pvp the fights feel too fast and people just die too easily in general.

Bugs: Gathering rarity is borked and needs retuning.

Feedback:

  1. Crafting material requirements need retuning. They're very aggressive for certain items, for example, all of the dang rubies you need for scribing.

  2. The leveling experience is bland and not fun. Try to implement/fix more quests in the 8-25 range. Commissions should give out more XP than they do, the rewards are pretty bad. The world needs more events, this would help with the XP demand. Mostly, sitting in POI groups and grinding for hours to level is boring AF in 2025. If you want people to test new areas and high level systems, make it more engaging to level.

  3. Caravan defenders need more incentives. Maybe they could get XP, glint, or node bucks? Why not create a commission for that?

  4. Please make search better in the marketplace, or at least add the ability to search by category or add filters. The search being limited to a 50 character store description is limited and head scratching to say the least. World of Warcraft did this in 2004...

    1a. No guild storage is becoming very problematic
    1b. The way processed items stack into material bags makes little sense. If I can fit 80+ ore into this bag, why can I only fit 40 of the fragments.
  2. Processing/crafting need a slider like donating to the node has. There's no difference in processing 1 or 250 of something so just use a slider. Clicking and crafting every single time is downright annoying 😑 even if I still have to stand and watch it craft, I would rather push the button once.
  3. Hindered development due to lack of node progression and resources. Crafting gear is supposed to be on par if not better than farming it, yet access to the materials and resources needed (name mob drops, willow being non existent, and hunting rarity issues) lead to thr inability to get gear crafted at higher rarity. Not only this but due to the node bug in the start, there is not enough space to put out stations to allow us to craft everything at journeyman anyway.

  3. There a lot of systems not being fleshed out due to size of world or bad actors (mainly with mayorship) so crafting is heavily impacted on some servers and exasperated by the above points, forcing many people to rely on item drops - seems to be in balancing expected game play.

  1. Upon death during a Caravan event, player gets 60 seconds of invulnerability. For unknown reason, this also applies to the caravan which makes it possible for a player to abuse the invulnerability, especially when the event is close to the Emberspring

  2. Players sometimes appear to be partially or fully under the ground, so only their nameplate remains visible - extremely inconvenient when it comes to PvP. In most cases, happens with characters of Dwarf race.

  3. All caravan related bugs, such as "Random teleportation to Carphin", "Random dismounting" etc.

  4. Upon losing a fight for a caravan, some people destroy it themselves by talking to Caravan Master. Therefore, attackers get no reward for a successful caravan raid.

  5. Players who did or did not participate in Caravan Event are able to instantly break the cargo caches using a crowbar without getting flagged or any repercussions whatsoever

1 - Cleric's Flash Cure costing more than Divine Flare feels terrible. Double the mana was too much, reduce by 50% and it'll feel better. You could also revert the mana change and increase the length of time it takes to gain charges back. Have some kind of skill mechanic to help them recharge faster, like "reduce 1 Flash Cure charge by 25% for every finisher combo"

2 - Caravans still feel like crap.
-Allow successful attackers who have summoned their own caravan to arrange crates in their caravan that they have taken from a destroyed caravan.
-Still need a group que'ing for the party leader to either join Attack or Defender.
-Randomly teleporting the driver to Carphin needs to be fixed.
-Water Caravans dropping their cargo in the water seems very bugged and doesn't drop properly most of the time.
-Allow us to leave a caravan event and put us on a cooldown to rejoin another one for a period of time.
-Emberspring buff protecting the caravan is being abused heavily.

THE most important bug IS the one when servers rolled back a couple weeks ago and I (and many others) lost the first two BANK TABS of storage in our home node. This was NOT from a loss of citizenship. Our small guild lost HUNDREDS of metal fragments as well as a LOT of other things.

  1. World bosses not respawning properly and if killed often bug out without any loot dropping --> suggestion: let them occur 2 times a day at specific times to make it a contested event objective.

  3. War cooldowns not working - a guild who won or lost a war should not be able to declare another war against the same guild right after because this way guild wars tend to be even more unfair than they are anyways

  1. My number 1 concern is the lack of randomness associated with node spawns.
    Players are just camping the locations, meaning guild horde the legendary and sell at ultra high profits. This is an economy breaking characteristic of the game at the moment.
  2. Lack of randomness on mob timers. I would suggest a +/- 20% on mob and resource node respawn timers. This forces people to keep moving, rather than hording and spawn camping. Variety is needed

  1. Toxicity is pretty ridiculously high. Including a lot of white knights giving false information that such and such act is actionable when it hasn't been. Shaming players just because they thought of something the others didn't. I think more information on what is an exploit and what isn't would be very helpful to the player base. I've seen situations where some guilds get reset for exploiting where to stand and not be attacked, yet other guilds are considered favorites of GM's and do the same actionable offense.

So a clear message that using terrain to inhibit NPC ability to touch players, leads to X result would give concrete understanding on what is an exploit, what isn't, and take away the ability of the white knights from just making shit up.

  1. FOV for super ultrawide is super bad. I'm missing like 1/3 of vertical image render because FOV bound to the wrong axis.
  2. Monsters getting stuck in walls
  3. The sound effect of the bell and dragon breathing from carphin stays with you even when you travel significant distance away.
  4. playing with one character, then changing servers and playing with another will always result in a client crash about 30 minutes into playing the second character.
  5. The game client is entirely capable of checking whether the cpu microcode for intel 13/14th gen i7/i9 CPUs is version 0x12b, which is the latest fixed firmware for the power issue. Please perform the check, and prevent the dialogue about the CPU's issues when it is unnecessary.

  3. We really need a timer for node wars to start. Every time it's a large group of attackers who show up with no materials to lose, declaring instant war and sweeping through to kill people in storage, bench, and market menus for free materials. No risk, all reward.

  1. Servers + meshing. We just had a war and the game isn't playable at the moment. The view distance is much too low. People float around and warp in and out. It's just not testable at all. Even when noone is on-screen as a ranger playing from overseas on one of the US servers using scattershot makes you rubberband back and forth.

  • Fixed Resource Rarity & Timers - Resource nodes have a fixed rarity, and allow people to set up timers to come back to specific resource nodes if that node produces high rarity materials.

Please allow all resources to be randomized. Randomized resources promotes adventuring and going out into the world. Maybe put a soft glow around trees that have higher tier material (Albion online has a good example of resources and tiers). This would allow people to fight for the resource if needed but won't have people setting timers and camping for the resource.

In the lawless zones, possibly increase the chances of materials spawning to be more rare to promote activity in the lawless areas to have the "risk vs reward" element in place

Don't know, maybe add corruption at engage and not at kill, the corruption vanish if the victim defend, and stay if the victim don't attack.
keep the tropics as an open pvp zone, but add some rare ressources spawn point in it to encourage pvp (like t2-t3 trees, mining, etc...), great to see some zone like this in the final game too (like abyss in DAOC, with a high reward / high risk system)
Make mount to gain best stats with rarity, not type... it's so dumb to see all people on the same mount just because it's the meta.

Most Important Bugs for me:

1. The game needs WAY MORE VRAM and RAM than in the system req. with my 4060 (8GB VRAM) I crashed a few times, with not enough vram error + with 16GB RAM when I open google chrome the game crashes without error codes very often ESPECIALLY in towns. (1080p gaming, not 1440p)

2. My character sometimes becomes bald, and my shield's visibility disappears.

3. And by far this is the most frustrating one for me, if you look away even just a little bit from gathering/mining/etc. It instantly stops, and you can start it all over again, i dont know if this is intended, but it could use some fine-tuning

  1. The way resource respawning works continues to destroy the gameplay. It is so hard to find legendaries because the first person to find each one camps the respawn all day.
  2. We need either Guild storage, or at least a 'mail'/dropbox system to send items to people. The logistics burden is soooo much harder waiting to get 2 people to the same place, at the same time. Having a way to leave an item for someone to pick up when they get around to it would be the biggest crafter QOL improvement.
  3. The only purpose of wars (guild and node) is to grief unprepared crafters and steal loot. Please put in a 1-5 minute windup period or SOMETHING so unsuspecting civilians don't get sneak-attacked
  4. Having caravan drivers be killable so easily has dropped Caravan participation off a cliff. All it takes is 1 lvl 25 to kill you, and there is no time window based on caravan HP to negotiate or bring in defenders. Before, you could tank it and slowly move to town. If you don't get rid of the killing driver thing, at least make some way to incentivize people to run caravans anyways. Archeage's 30% profit even when someone else steals your pack was a good way to keep casuals invested in providing trade packs for people to contest.
  5. Guild XP is waaaay to hard. I liked the idea others have for the guild levels to be easier to start, and only be really difficult once you are pushing the higher levels.

    4)glint drops seem to be nerfed for 8 person group areas. currently glint farming as duo / trio is much more efficient vs doing 8 person groups in most areas (forge for instance feels terrible for glint as 8+)

  2. HUD settings reset when relogging which annoys quite a lot.
  3. I keep randomly having myself in heal target without clicking someone else besides our tanks, causing lots of trouble in hectic situations.

  1. Static rarity resource nodes of ore, wood and flowers are bad. They need to be dynamic to stop people from camping for high rarities and gathering being a nicer experience while making rarities of all kinds spread fairly a bit more, too.
  2. Time to Kill in PvP is too low as you kill each other quicker than a clearic can even try healing sometimes which results in unsatisfying massacres. For this the introduction of a PvP damage multiplier (like x0.8) that differs from the PvE damage multiplier (x1.0). Changing enchants does not solve the issue and adding more HP messes with the PvE.
  3. Coal should be a better farmable resource or producable so it is not just a random drop producing another bottle neck when crafting in addition to hunting materials.
  4. There is snow in autumn, winter and spring covering everything. It is too dense and there for way too long so the beautiful world is covered most of the time which is very annoying. Spring and Autumn without snow was much prettier and these nice phases fade too quickly.

  1. Every class shouldn't be able to use every weapon because there are no real weapon skills, just weapon procs, and that makes let say a Mage with a GS feel very slow and squishy. If you added a skill tree for each weapon that would change my opinion completely.
  2. The Tanks offensive abilities feel more like Fighter abilities than Fighter abilities do.
  3. The GS feels like it swings pretty slow but also doesnt do as much damage as youd think for a two handed weapon thats moving slow but hitting hard.

Feedback.

  1. Time to kill is still WAYYYYYYYYY too fast. PVP fights are zergs and there is no skill vs skill fights with a low time to kill. People just nuke players and there is no engagement, especially when top geared players all funnel to the same guild. You will see the same thing New World and every other PVX game went through if this isn't fixed. Also, Wars need a timer. Some sort of start timer so people have time to get reinforcements or to store materials. You're finding people who are tabbed out or afk getting wrecked by spontaneous wars when they think they are in a safe place. This either needs to be announced as the expectation or reworked to allow for people to prepare.
  2. UI Suggestions: Nameplates need to have class indicators to show who is what without clicking on them. Adding cast bars to nameplates is huge too. When clicking on players on mounts, it defaults to selecting the mount first. Should be the player. Lastly, the debuff section on nameplates is no effective. You cannot see past 10 debuffs, the font is unreadable for the timer and a lot of information that is important is lost.
  3. Clerics need to be dialed in. All abilities need to work with hovercasting (mend, wings) for muscle memory and consistency. Also, mend needs a rework. Having a heal ability that has an inconsistent travel time makes it unreliable in combat. You can't trust it will reach the target in time. Also, some of the animations take too long. Heals are a very reactive class and needs to be able to trust the ability is going to go off when pressed and not a second later. There are too many moving parts for things like that to be unpredictable.
  4. PVE is extremely dull. My experience so far (level 25, 150 int, 375 MPR Cleric), the pve experience has been make 8 man group, go to pocket dungeon, kill same mob for hours on end and hope you roll high for a piece of gear if it even drops. Maybe farm a tree or rock. World bosses are farmed by the biggest guilds uncontested.

With mining you will come back with some of very rarity. With herbalism you will get some epic and heroic. With lumberjacking and fishing you will get rare and uncommon. Hunting you will be lucky to get an uncommon. It is very frustrating at times not being able to get the rarity you want. I spent 3 hours farming 100 raptors and only got 3 blue carcasses and under 10 uncommon. Please equalize the rarity drops.
  5. Glint from commissions. The gathering commissions give almost nothing in glint. Can we please up the amount awarded. Even if we have to gather a little more.

  1. Caravan defense. Have some sort or weaponry that is either manned or unmanned to help inidividuals run caravans and having some deterance for 2-3 people trying to destroy them alone.

  2. Caravan bugs. Get rid of emberspring protection for caravans. It is being abused between Miraleth and Winstead because the embersprings are so close.

  3. PVP. Increase TTK through general HP and mitigation buffs to armor (no nerfs).

  4. PVE. Make mob exp grind less of a gather and AE and more of a control the adds situation, with longer lasting mez, sleep, etc. and the necessity of using them. Currently mez and sleep are just useless in PVE and there is no need for crowd control other than as an interrupt. (Also add other abilities that can be added like attack speed slow, charm, etc).

This can feed back into point 3 TTK being too quick, because with mitigation and hp buffs mobs can be buffed as well to be more deadly and have to be controlled instead of AEed.

  1. Enchanting. Way too strong on specific items and useless on others. Any item with a stat (int, wis, str, con, dex, etc.) become too strong with enchanting compared to items that have straight phys or magic power, or other broader bonus stats. Not sure what the fix is, either buff what enchanting gives to the broad stats or nerf what it gives to the specific stats.

4)Having the oppotunity as a player to choose between artisan and fighting or be in between get buffs for doing soo like have three paths. One for purely fighting so you get more stats or a random talent for such things.   1. Resource rarity needs a look. mostly animals, a wolf carcass shouldnt be a reasonable price at 10g for a single hide at epic.
  2. Personally, it upsets me that as a tank, i run around with an invisible shield. doesn't build confidence not seeing my metal wall.

  1. Global chat is unusably full. I would recommend having a log for system info like xp and items, a local chat so localized messaging isn't spammed into GC, and taverns with in search of boards for people looking to party up. This would really help to clean up the global chat so that people can actually converse there.
  2. Waterway traversal doesn't seem to be much of a thing right now, at least for those without water mounts. I'd like to suggest (although it may already be in the works) the addition of small water crafts like canoes, or even coracles that would be available towards the early game.
  3. Secret abilities/buffs would be cool. Like getting a health buff or a spell after picking 1,000 dandelions. That kind of stuff.

Just from a gatherer's point of view

  1. mining, lumberjacking, and herbalism nodes glitched into rock formations making it inaccessible or hard to see.
  2. hunting is my least favorite gathering skill because the amount of work you put in just doesn't yield any results as far as rarity don't know if this a bug
  3. when jumping on and off a mount when gathering sometimes makes it to where you can't get back on the mount and have to re-summon to fix (not big just annoying)
    Now on to the feed back
  4. currently the guild leveling system in it's current state can't be tested because of the amount of experience needed is way too much. Add the tokens you can buy to drop off mobs and quest turn ins. Let's look to WoW with it's tabbard system that'll work also.
  5. currently gathering feels decent enough but to acquire coal is an oof... And rarity may be bugged but I'm not sure.
  6. this is a wish feedback more bank tabs and please make it to where we can mail items to alts.
  7. raise the number of base guild members to 250 with the perks still doing an increase.
  8. make the guild perk track a permanent selection that guild leaders choose... make the gathering, processing, and crafting track able to gain xp for actually doing said activities... I love the game so far it honestly feels better even in this current state than the ptw trash heaps that are around... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

  1. I play a Vek Ranger - My hair always bugs to be really tall for whatever reason. Stretched like half of character height.

  2. Horse has been getting movement locked lately. No animation.

  3. Sleepy goblins at start of the game not killable in certain areas.

  1. I enjoy the live event quest. People naturally party together in the sub 10 level range for them which is cool. The EXP gain feels meaningful enough to repeat them.

  2. I like how the questing isn’t totally mindless BUT some quest are not accomplishable to a casual, the numbers on map may not appear and the description usually doesn’t give enough context to really feel out what you’re doing. I’m cool with not perfect numbering on the map of X location but it’s pretty intuitive sometimes and I could roam forever and not find what I need.

  3. The leveling grind at current time is archaic. I don’t want WoW zoomer levels of exp or questing, I want to understand what I’m actually doing and have time to learn a class and it’s ideal reactive rotations or responses for PvP but EXP location locked farms is a draggg… More live event quests or even some in the open world dungeons would be sick. Idk if there is a system for all levels to compete in node wars as systems adapt but that would be amazing to level through if it is semi regular to war a node daily? Idk I don’t have full context of all systems due to my casualness… all I know is I’m okay with a longer leveling system similar to that of WoW Classic timelines because I want the RPG back in MMORPG. It currently feels like a really old version of how RPG’s use to and could use modernization in the means of leveling but not necessarily in length of time of leveling. I want to buy into the story, capture me AoC like a phoenix from the ashes and set my nostalgia ablaze.

Context of review - Casual dad gamer with family of 3 kids. 5-7 hours played a week max.

  1. Healers healing outside of event (caravan / War) creating unfair advantage - no current in game solution
  2. Unable to attack/defend caravans at a raid level - having to leave group/raid to individually click defend/attack. Really terrible in heavy combat
  3. Unable to see war timers, causing inability to properly plan final pushes, defensive maneuvers, etc. Wars, in general, are too light on administrative details.

1: Guild leveling skills are too hard to attain at this time...2: We really do need a sizable Guild Bank 3: thanks for the boost in willow but it's still very hard to get that wood. I've been playing MMORPG's since the lat 90's mostly leading guilds so am talking from extensive experience..:D

Top 3-5 Most Important Bugs:

  1. Keeping grit refreshed is not fun, and it isn't clear when it's enabled, so you don't know when to use it without looking in the top left corner. It is distracting.
  2. Death Penalty On Tanks - With Tanks dying so often, there are long term economic implications for those who are playing Tanks. They will earn significantly less glint, and therefore gold during their playtime. Gold subsequently is used by almost every other system in the game. There need to be less things disincentivizing people to play Tank long-term.
  3. There is no warning for players who are about to sign online when a node war is happening. You instantly die carying whatever you happened to have on you the second you load because of this.
  4. View distance varying based on server load makes seeing things you're looking for harder, and the varying view distance is a bit disorientating. Also it seems like newly spawned mobs have a shorter view distance or something.
  5. Even as a tank, TTK in PvP feels it is too fast. I've been Oneshot quite a few times and i'm not sure if that's intended.

  1. static resource spawns.... You have to add a random modifier on resource nodes
  2. Mayoral commission quests such as catching 25 fish does not work currently, which would be a primary source for town contribution for fishermen.
  3. Please make tank fun to play.
  4. Golem's disintegration ray had some changes made to it and it doesn't misfire as frequently but it still does. This coupled with its INSANE damage makes it far too dangerous to be worth fighting as a tank. Additionally there is no indicator of the shape of the ray, so you roll out to the side, and come back in to keep meleeing and then you re-enter cone unwittingly, making the death feel really lame and unfair.

  2. exploiting pvp flags kill others. (Stun a solo player engaged in combat, and npc kills player, train mobs on others)

Feedback:

  1. shared storage space between characters, for easy testing of tradeskills. Harvest wood and flowers on one toom, put in shared storage and process milling, weaving, etc on other toons.
  2. disable flying mounts as long as resources are on static spawns. Unfair competitive advantage. (Guild can post locations of hundreds of legendary statics, and mayor can collect all across the map with ease. This screws balance to those not 'exploiting' the current mechanic.

  1. Memory errors, run out of memory, not enough video memory. I had no problems in wave1, but since wave2 i literally cannot play because the game crashes within 2 mins of me logging in and always with a memory related issue. I posted it on reddit and a couple of other people mentioned the same problem....so i really hope this will get fixed. I play on 1440p with an rtx 3080 and 16 gb ram.

  1. Mobs respawining low level, needing to kill them in order to get them to the right level is a reason to not even start the grind.
  2. Mob AI, It has improved but still needs fine tuning.
  3. Mob agro range, at lvl 11 in azmaran the mobs chased me from the node all the way to the north.

  4. Crafting/processing would be so much nicer if i could just put the amount i have collected then a fixed amount of them.
  5. let me track the amount of time remaining on my processing activities somewhere in the UI. I know this is a alpha but UI needs to provide me with enough information. The information should be displayed in a clean and precise manner, there is a lot of information displayed that i may not want to see at that moment. THe UI also displays all crafting/processing/gathering available let me just select the ones that are important to me.
  6. THis world is huge and as far as im concerned going from one place to another is a pain in the ass. I understand that caravans and in the future ship trading are the reason fast travel is not allowed, but just going to the desert is a task on its own. I think some kind of fast travel from zone to zone (riverlands -> desert -> tropics) would be nice to have. 4) crafting : im leveling scribe and everything i craft has no value. the items can be bought at the current lvl of the alpha and crafting is just gold burning atm, i also feel that the speed my crafting is increasing at is way slower then i can get my character to max level.

Bugs:

  1. Hunting Rarity seems wildly different than mining or lumberjacking.
  2. The market switching the materials automatically if no items are in the item tab is terrible. This was introduced last week and has made going through the marketplace even more painful than it already is.
  3. Mounts getting stuck in static. Just really annoying

Feedback:

  1. Time to Kill in PvP is absolutely busted. Tanks should not be two tapping a fighter. Auto attacks should chunk for 30-40% health a hit. Problem is a combination of enchanting scaling much harder with offensive skills than defensive ones and not having a PvP mitigation factor. The damage output works when fighting 60k hp mobs but not 4k hp players.
  2. Please for the love of god allow for less static processing amounts. Let me select an amount between 1-250 or whatever you want the upper limit to be.
  3. Not sure why the guild leveling is only tied to caravans and why a single level takes nearly 4000 gold in opportunity cost.

  2. Alt and other modifier keys being stuck on after Alt+Tab (I accidentally flagged, died without fighting back and felt sad)

  1. More content for solo players or small group/small guild play. I'd like to feel like I'm making progress even if I take a more casual approach w/ friends
  2. Looting sucks. There is no enjoyment from going to a location and pressing a button. How much would it really hurt to have loot appear directly in the inventory after a kill? Obv not player corpses or mining from 40ft away
  3. More incentives to help others without needing to group. Kill credit changes would be fantastic. Currently there is no reason for me to help kill mobs that are about to kill a player who overpulled. Kill credit seems all over the place and is hard to know if it's bugged or intended to be super strict. I used to heal others before I realized that it would pull aggro and I'd be forced to kill mobs for potentially no reward

  1. Mend is not able to be used with hover healing.
  2. Teleporting to Carphin while on a caravan.
  3. Hunting rarity too low.
  4. Mobs often get stuck in terrain and walls and will get bugged and unable to be interacted with or respawn.

  1. PvP systems need much work. Guild War declarations on top of node wars should not be a thing. Node wars should take priority, and should cancel out guild wars. Why can the war declarer cancel the war whenever but the declaree has to wait to surrender? Also it is not fair for these guild war declarations and node war declarations to have no warning to the defenders. Any healers that participate in war should be tagged or their heals negated; currently they can sit outside any war and heal allies and enemies lol.
  2. PvP balance is atrocious. Damage needs a special pvp damage reduction tag, time to kill is way too short and rewards zergs and glass cannons way too much. No counterplay is boring pvp.
  3. Mainstats have too much weight on gear and with enchanting. Enchanting lvl 20 gear should be exponentially better than enchanting lvl 10 gear; the linear increase makes lvl 20 marginally better.
  4. Static rarity material spawns need to go. Needs to be pure RNG. People are camping high tier rarity spawns with timers.
  5. Unique mob spawn timers need to be much shorter. Again being spawn camped with timers.

Feedback:

Leveling: Leveling is extremely frustrating. It involves spending 15 minutes in chat to find a group, only to have a member leave right after joining. This results in further delays as a replacement is sought. Once the group finally starts killing mobs, they often wipe almost instantly due to various mishaps, including mob training, where other players intentionally or unintentionally lure mobs into your group, causing chaos. This leaves players back at square one, with a substantial XP debt and a strong desire to uninstall the game. Solo farming is even worse. Losing stuff when dying, and having xp dept and being teleported far away from the place you died is extremely stupid as well, we are in 2025, things like that should be kept for hardcore servers. anyone having a bit of self esteem will just play something else than have their time wasted because in all these time wasting loops. Idiots train on us and we can't even defend ourselves because you will get corrupted and die and lose all your shit and xp dept and you will have to run back while the person who trained on you is picking up your loot, TRIPPLE PUNISHED FOR SOMETHING THAT AIN'T EVEN MY MISTAKE OR BECAUSE SOME IDIOT WANTS SOME LOOT AND BEST WAY FOR HIM TO DO THAT IS TO TRAIN. YOU CREATED THIS PROBLEM.

Suggestions:

Implement a more efficient group-finding system.

Reduce XP penalties for group wipes.

Improve solo farming mechanics.

Address the issue of mob training to prevent griefing.

Hunting: The hunting experience is terrible. After clearing a whole location for a chance to get a huntable animal, other players can steal your huntable animal in front of your face because they have better mobility, i had bard follow me around and steal my staff while i was forced to kill all mobs to get huntable spawn, and the rarity is extremely low. Furthermore, the anti-PVP corruption mechanic prevents players from retaliating when others try to steal their spot.

Suggestions:

Revise the way huntable animals appear.

Address the anti-PVP corruption mechanic.

Increase the spawn rate of heroic animals.

Ranger: The top of the skill tree is nearly useless.

Air Strike rarely hits its target (99.9% failure rate).

Raining Death is weak compared to a single auto-attack, which does twice the damage.

Suggestions for Air Strike:

Implement a selection area similar to Vine Field, allowing players to choose where the damage is applied.

Reduce the cooldown by 10-15 seconds.

Remove the root/snare mechanic. (ain't working anyway)

Suggestions for Raining Death:

Increase the cast time to 5 seconds and reduce the cooldown to 30 seconds.

Allow players to select the area to cast the rain.

Lock player in place while casting, with the option to cancel early by pressing the skill again.

Hunts: Hunts are disappointing, especially the 10% crit damage bonus from the Tiger at low levels when players don't have crit chance. The Bear is more useful but not for non-tanks. Marks and armaments are also underwhelming due to their short duration and shared cooldowns.

Suggestions:

Make the crit damage bonus more relevant at low levels if you give this skill to players at low levels when player don't have any crit chance.

Improve the utility of other Hunts.

Revise the duration and cooldown for marks.

Make other Enhance Armament be useful, right now only bleed is viable and 99.9% of players will pick it because of synergy with other skills. So then what's the point of other two if we can't use them at the same time.

  1. performance. We are supposedly testing the economy but server performance causes frequent crashes and lost valuable loot.
  2. frozen mount bug
  3. mob train. The idea of getting griefed by trains or running a mile to shake one mob is frustrating to be sure.

  1. Fix the static node rarity of items so everything is like hunting.
  2. stop griefers from stunning people to prevent them from gathering resources. It’s not uncommon for higher levels to lock me and my friends out of harvesting.
  3. marketplace. The item/material tab needs to stay whenever you change sellers. If I only want materials or items it slows me down considerably to have to swap tabs every new seller.

  1. For some reason, you can't view the journeyman recipes you learnt in your recipe book (when it comes to cooking atleast) but you can see the ones you automatically know.
  2. Monsters keep getting stuck in Carphin.
  3. You can't have 2 gathering tools. When I tried to make my second one it just disappeared.

  1. Player made items should not be able to be bought at vendors. I'm a chef so where my annoyance lies is mainly the journeyman food. I was hoping the profession buffing foods would be my goldmine but you can buy every single one of them, for 47 copper... Just the gold sink cost of making the food, ignoring the cost of making all the ingredients, is 1 silver.
  2. Baby cows should stack in your inventory. I honestly don't know why this was changed? It's annoying having to buy 8 at a time, and only being able to make 25 adult cows at a time because I have a filled up inventory.
  3. The cost of listing items at your storefront combined with the expiration makes it very disheartening to sell a large volume of things there.
    I was planning on having a very large variety of foods but now I'm just selling chicken, beef and scrambled eggs instead, which is boring.
  4. You need to be able to have a longer description of your storefront. I wanna add that they can whisper me for buying larger variety of foods but due to the search function working off of keywords rather than what's for sale, my description is "food. Cooking roasted chicken, grilled beef and eggs" and thats all that fits.
  5. Storefront search function needs to be fixed and improved. It really is miserable atm.

Remove enchanting giving +1 base stats every level.

Make farming/hunting mobs give heroic+ mats as often as other gathering methods so crafting high tier 20+ gear is actually feasible.

Remove the massive diminishing returns formula from resist/mitigation scaling.

Buff con to give 50-100hp per point instead of 10.

  1. Tank is unfun to play and needs to be reevaluated.
  2. Re-balance and re-enable guild/node war rewards. Whatever it takes to fix this so that guilds have reason to pvp each other.
  3. Mitigation in PvP. Nerf Player VS Player DMG by a significant amount, test different values during different weeks. Armor values seem useless, penetration too powerful

  1. fix static gathering spawn locations/rarities...people can just keep returning to the same spot and get the same rarity...ruins economy & and is cheesy
  2. find a way to better integrate enemy debuffs (relevant to/and caused by you) visually instead of having to constantly watch the little icons on the health bar...so tedious & awful especially in large groups with a dozen or more debuffs
  3. continue to refine/balance the classes/combat (esp. mage!)
  4. mitigation stats for PvP aren't keeping pace with damage stats.

suggestions:
debuff tracking/buff management needs a rework/re-evaluation to make it more visually intuitive. I would suggest that a portion of burn/shock/slow stacks that you cause are only useable by you and the amount you currently have on the target is indicated by a number on your spell that caused the affect (burn stacks caused by Fireball would have a number on the spell icon OR some small visual que on your character somehow; this would require a rework on debuffs somewhat i would imagine). You could also have the debuffs relevent/caused by you to be highlighted on the nameplate so you can keep track of it better. something needs to be done - straining your eyes to keep up with a shifting debuff box on an enemy feels bad and you often pay more attention to that than even the fight going on infront of you.
I also think the way all debuff stacks are shared makes everything so RNG in a group setting - i understand its to promote class/group synergy but there should be something that rewards a good rotation.

Three biggest issues:

  1. The recent tank changes have made playing tanks unpleasant, and as a result, the population of tanks has plummeted.  This makes it really tedious trying to find one for groups, with hours spent doing menial pointless things like fishing while waiting for one to appear.  You’ve made a game centre around grouping which is theoretically fine, but not if you can’t get one.  Either make tanks fun to play, or increase the solo options in game.
    
  2. Static spawning of rare resources (both timer and location) is a really poor mechanic, and makes the game wide open to botting, antisocial behaviour, and toxicity. This needs changing. Just make rarity random on each spawn. Scarcity of some materials (willow, metals) makes gathering and crafting tedious, rather than fun. It might not be so bad if freeholds were more readily available, but since they were bought up straight away by people who exploited at the start of the phase and therefore built up superior cash supplies, for most of us, it’s a distant pipedream. Some materials don’t even have rare versions! Add in a selling mechanism that is really difficult to use and you’re left with a pretty horrible crafting and economy system – for a game that likes to champion itself on the ‘crafter is king’ mantra, you’re making it really difficult to enjoy doing it.
  3. Damage vs defence in pvp is way out of line. You need to significantly decrease damage dealt to other players in order to encourage more tactical pvp options. Tactical battles are always better than pewpew.

Well I'm just giving up playing for now. I've been getting constant crashes the last few weeks.
They wouldn't have borthered me much if they wouldn't include the deaaath penalty from dying to a random crow next to me because the server kept my character in the game.
I've spend all my gold on getting Hunting gear so thata i can earn gold by hunting creatures instead so that I'm playing low risk low reward. well I've pettet countless creatures my hunting rank has increased to master by now and this week I got for the first time something valuable. an epic wolf carcas that should be worth around 50 Gold.
Well turns out you introduced a listing fee thats basedd on the price you want to set on top of the node tax rate for actually selling something.
I can't even afford to list the item on the market and even if I do it's questionable if it would sell within 3 days.
I want to earn something with my profession but so far i only spend a lot of gold on buff food and potions that seemed to have little to no effect and now I'm even priced out of the market by the listing fee.
I'm just so tired of making negative progress on every activity

  1. Right mouse click to move items between iventory and storage sometimes stops working. If you have the items in the target location it works or not. Sometimes it will work fine if you don't have the items at the target location.
  2. Archetyp: Cleric, Spell: Divine Flare - there are some problems with placing Divine Flare on uneven grounds like stairs (upper stairs in Church of the seven stars), uneven terrain like rounded and or uphill/downhill (tunnels and ramps inside Ursine Cave).
  3. Bottles have a disco light effect. They switch between colour (green) and no colour (pink) in certain rhythem.

  2. PvE ranged gameplay feels way better, I started solo as Tank, later on just used bow as it felt better, this should never be. After 9 levels i made a ranger and the leveling was way, way easier. Tanks should either have better sustain or be able to tank.
  3. Chat whisper function: it feels very clunky. Maybe add a button [reply] or use a [shift]+[enter] to reply to last whisper. Cycling through last whisper contacts in a seperate whisper window with [arrow up] and [arrow down] to select would be helpful.
  4. Save the last used resolution and monitor. I use two different monitors (4k, WQHD), each time i have to adapt resolution and it often bugs out if I try to play on 2nd monitor (WQHD) in fullscreen windowed.
  5. I would like to have a stash space where I can transfer items between chars. I can trade it to someone who trades it back to me, but I can not transfer items/materials/... by my self.

    Make the skill set of the Mage more interesting, re-think all of his skills. There are too many cast time based skills with the effect, that the combat is feeling not fluid like for example with other damage dealer classes like Fighter or Ranger. Mage is feeling clunky in comparision to other classes.
    Mage skills:
  • Improve the Arcane Missile skill, so that in high levels there is a benefit to use it at all.
  • Increase the damage of Ball Lightning after the recent nerf, at the moment the damage is way too low for a 20 second cooldown skill.
  • Decrease Magma Field cast time, it feels so boring at the moment.
  1. You die too fast in PVP., please balance this out.
  2. Defenders of caravans should get some rewards after the caravans successfully has reached a target location.
  3. Add a simple function to use a /whisper command to a target player, like right clicking on a name of a players in the chat and then offer an option to "Whisper this player".
  4. The high respawn timers for resources and rare mobs should be reduced or other concepts should be offered as alternatives ways for getting such resources. Make the crafting just more enjoyable !

  4. craftable items should not be sold by vendors for money in any quality, it heavily devalues some professions and negatively influences market prices
  5. probably difficult to implement something to prevent that but in bigger fights where positioning matters more some guilds let single players join the other side of a caravan event to have a permanent scout that can't be attacked (or the other guild is forced to use the same tactic the other way around to kill the scout)

  1. Mitigation does not work. It definitely does not mitigate fraction of dmg, it looks like (not thoroughly tested) it mitigates flat amount in HP what it promises as percentage. This is critical bug because it is not balancing issue - it is issue of broken code which makes whole AoC the game of single offensive stat.
  2. Right click moving stuff to bank does not work if it has to split stack on arrival, sometimes it does not work at all.

  3. Items in the player market should stay in the market for a much longer time before they need to be relisted.

Tldr; If you make a game for 10% of players, they will become 100%.

I stopped playing AoC when it was confirmed that professions were restricted to 5 of 22.
I don’t want to be THE Potion Maker whose name everyone knows, or even among the 10% that own a Freehold. I just want to play the full basic game: do all the professions, join a guild, do PvP/GvG.

So, why would I play AoC? So I can forever run past Iron Nodes and Willow Trees and never gather them if I want to be able to hunt and train animals and fish and cook? And v.v.. Alts don’t solve that problem. So, no thanks.

Simple Solution: You currently allow me to be Novice in all 22 Professions. Extend that to Apprentice (22/22) and Journeyman (at least 16/22). (I don't have any issue with the current restrictions on Master and Grandmaster.)

I stopped playing this weekend because my caravan straight up dissappeared into the void for the second time. I highly suggest all hands on deck figuring out what’s causing the caravan issues and fixing them. It’s too much of a time sink to ask testers to wade through for this long.

Either that or re-enable the road speed bonus or increase caravan speed in general. It wouldn’t be such a bitter pill to swallow if caravans didn’t take 1-2 hours.

Top Bugs 1. People outside of guild wars/caravans etc able to heal players participating in the guild war/caravan. 2. Not being able to mount because bards playing songs 3. Trade Beauru are not giving the reduced commodity cost for citizens Top Feedback 1. Enchanted gear does to much damage. Stacking int or str makes damage way to strong. Defensive gear doesn't help much at all. 2. Not being the guild who controls mayor of a town feels really bad. There is no incentive to help a mayor who is in a guild that isn't yours. No drive to help build a building that will probably get sieged away because again nobody wants to work with mayors not in your own guild. They usually build buildings your guild doesn't want. They screw up the town by not knowing what they are doing and stopping progress to journeyman. Most mayors only want it for the incredibly overpowered flying mount. Unless your a super mega zerg guild you don't get to be mayor. 3. The timers on everything is really getting old. All good mounts have people sitting at them. All good ore/trees etc are on 4 hour timers one person keeps going back to. All mobs that drop good loot have a group show up 2 mins before the timer to ensure they get the loot everytime.

There needs to be a way to dispatch captured beasts to convert them to carcass. Bears for example are more rare than wolf and grem but for some reason 3/4 are tamed and captured beasts for animal husbandry instead of a carcass. There should be an option in farming or tanning to dispatch the creature and make it into a carcass. maybe this is planned or already in game and I don't know about it, if soo please do tell.

1: Weapon Talents:
a: it feels like there are certain talents that you take regardless (refreshing follow through is a good example) this removes actual choice because you just go for the same talent.
2: Weapon choice:
a: Long Bow vs Short bow: Long bow does not feel as competitive from a numbers standpoint vs shortbow. Between the procs and the attack speed, Longbow doesn't rate as a good option against shortbow.
b: Longbow range is not a large win factor when compared to the shortbow. 5m is not enough of a range increase.
3: Serverworkers
a: Is there a plan released on when dynamic server workers are set to release? The popular areas tend to suffer during primetime play and the work around seems to be just move away. But, if we are funneled to certain areas for leveling or resources, we just negate that work around.
4: Non flagged players susceptible to CC from flagged players.
a: This seems to just be more of a mild griefing when it comes to gathering.
5: Guild storage.

Top 3-5 Most Important Bugs:

  1. auto-attack bugs seem be an infrequent issue (where it stops working and/or hotkeys stop working as well), but when they happen it can pretty much spell death (at least for low-level players like me riding a thin line with the mobs they are killing)
  2. rubber banding back to a previous position when getting off horses (haven't seen this in the last week or so of play, so maybe it's been fixed...or maybe I've just been luckier 🙂 )
  3. Not sure if this is a bug - when you're underlevelled and you talk to a vendor about raising a certification, the dialog just closes without any message. It needs a "Sorry" message to make me know that it isn't bugged, and ideally let me know at what level I can upgrade my certification.

Make the crafting stations in the early areas support proper crafting, not just the introductory quest mats - or have an option with NPCs so new players can find out where they can look for the proper equivalents out in the world. It took me so long to find any early on, and it drove me crazy.

  1. Total unrecoverable loss of caravans due to terrain glitches during conversion from raft>van or vice versa
  2. Some nodes having issues with deleting buildings to build new stuff (miraleth on lyneth)
  3. The bottom (purchasable) row of item storage in miraleth continues to be deleted for me, any items I stick into it are a total loss. Not sure what triggers it, but after some time of opening other storages, the items will disappear.

  1. PLEASE make mitigation more impactful and increase TTK. TTK is insanely low and not in a fun way
  2. Revert the tank changes, doesn't seem like anyone liked them
  3. Change how gathering nodes rarity works. Camping legendary nodes isnt fun gameplay. Rarity should be rolled on gather and effected by modifiers provided by gear/consumes. Having predetermined nodes just feels like a really, really off design choice that doesnt lead to any fun gameplay. It's frustrating and only going to lead to people making multiple alts to park on nodes.

My top 3 Issues for the week;

  1. Market stall require player to pay 10% of the listing fee. If the items are listed for only 3 days, which means that if they are not sold within 15 days, you last half the value of the items by lisitng those 5-6 times.
  2. Coal is way too scarce. Seems to pop around 1 in 100 or 200 rocks. Would prefer a separate deposit for it, just for the purpose of this testing, later can move the rock to other biome where it belongs
  3. Befalen forge station seems do not work propperly to allow the crafts. For example, Dunzen Longbow is a carpentry recipe which can only be crafted by weapon smithing bench in the dungeon.

Feedback:

  1. Mitigation feels like a joke with the amounts of mitigation penetration players and monsters can achieve. Caravan driver with over 95-96% mitigation can die in seconds. Fixing that should also help to make pvp more healthy as it would increase time to kill.
  2. As of Desert Biome update, Weeping Willow and Braidwood seems to be much more rare.
  3. Still cant use mix and match the materials in processing, this makes that less fun

  1. Mobs being invulnerable and ignore everything.
  2. While switching between melee/ranged weapon and toggling auto-attack in combat, sometimes you get stuck with the ranged weapon but it doesn't let you attack, it just does the "startup" animation for the ranged attacks but doesn't complete the attack. The only way to work around this is by using a melee ability which lets you auto attack as long as you stay in melee.
  3. When you log out and then back in while in a party, it sometimes shows that you aren't in a party even though you are, and you can't interact with the party interface.
  4. The "your cargo in this node disappears if you click on Lionhold in the cargo tab" bug.
  5. items that gathering bags aren't targeted for get put in gathering bags instead of the sanctus resource bag even when both have room.

  1. Inventory and Storage. Regardless of how few or how many materials a person has, losing anything feels excessively draining and creates a lot of distrust in the community. Since there has been a problem with storage being wiped, now people are fearful of putting anything of value in other tabs because "it may wipe".
  2. Echoing the previous statements about mobs being difficult and awkward AI.
  3. Holding abilities with multiple charges can end up consuming multiple charges. For example, as a Ranger holding Scattershot, you can end up consuming both charges while only firing 1 of the 2.

  1. Mining is excessively encumbersome with how many different materials and rarities there are. I recently got a JM pickaxe and ran x3 JM mining bags. I feel like I need another 2 bags. Instead, I think the gems (ruby/sapphire/emerald/etc... should just be 1x1. This would help to decrease the overall bag space needed, while still retaining all of its functionalities.
  2. Redefine what archetypes mean and focus on their core features while allowing for branching features with dual archetypes. For example, the Ranger feels very bare bones ranger in a very good way. Then having something like Lightning arrow doesn't feel inline with what a ranger is, rather that feels like a ranger x mage kind of ability.
  3. LFG TANK. LFG CLERIC. LFG TANK. LFG CLERIC. LFG TANK. LFG CLERIC. LFG TANK. LFG CLERIC. The amount of spam in global chat just trying to find either a tank or cleric pinpoints a problem in the game that tanks and clerics are a not an option but a requirement. However, people don't want to play these classes for a number of reasons. With the recent changes to tank, there are fewer tanks out there making it significantly harder to get a party formed, leading to less engagement. On the other side of that, I've witnessed an overall increasing demand for bards because there are so few clerics. In my experience, parties are running more bards to cover the need to NOT have a cleric in the party. Which speaks about yet another problem being that Bards are overloaded.
  4. Change how resources spawn. People have pinpointed individual resources across the map as: "high valued" because they automatically spawn at higher rarities. Instead of making individual nodes have higher rarities, make the area/region/section spawn with better rarity.
  5. survey pylons have no purpose in the game. They look like an enticing buff but there is no reason to use them considering they are so disgustingly weak, they cover a (relatively to valuable resources) small area where only 1-2 valuable resources are located, they're expensive, and it's not a fun mechanic to interact with. I've genuinely tried using them. The only thing survey pylons do is waste my gold.

  1. Caravan defense. Have some sort or weaponry that is either manned or unmanned to help inidividuals run caravans and having some deterance for 2-3 people trying to destroy them alone.

  2. Caravan bugs. Get rid of emberspring protection for caravans. It is being abused between Miraleth and Winstead because the embersprings are so close.

  3. PVP. Increase TTK through general HP and mitigation buffs to armor (no nerfs).

  4. PVE. Make mob exp grind less of a gather and AE and more of a control the adds situation, with longer lasting mez, sleep, etc. and the necessity of using them. Currently mez and sleep are just useless in PVE and there is no need for crowd control other than as an interrupt. (Also add other abilities that can be added like attack speed slow, charm, etc).

This can feed back into point 3 TTK being too quick, because with mitigation and hp buffs mobs can be buffed as well to be more deadly and have to be controlled instead of AEed.

  1. Enchanting. Way too strong on specific items and useless on others. Any item with a stat (int, wis, str, con, dex, etc.) become too strong with enchanting compared to items that have straight phys or magic power, or other broader bonus stats. Not sure what the fix is, either buff what enchanting gives to the broad stats or nerf what it gives to the specific stats.

  2. Guild Leveling. An EXP slider that allows people to allocate exp they get to themselves or to the guild. Would have to increase the exp requirements gradually for every point spent probably.

  2. Idk if it's a bug, but it has been only winter for weeks now.
  3. Mobs get pulled through walls so there are places where you can not use half your kit because you will pull the other room through the wall.

  4. Rolling on items should be somehow controlled. As a member of a not so active guild I mostly pug. It is frustrating and almost impossible to get a decent piece of gear when ppl need on whatever looks shiny, with reasons like: I have a ranger friend, I am a cleric but I need dex etc. Last night a rare physical longbow was needed by 3 mages because they were fiends of a fighter.
  5. There has to be a way to get rid of ppl asking for tax to let you farm in peace. If you don't pay them they keep griefing by pulling the entire place on your tank. They are not flagged, so you can not kill them unless you get Corrupt. So you either pay, or not farm.
  6. In my opinion solo leveling experience needs to be revisited. You can not always rely on finding a decent group of ppl to play with to have an enjoyable experience.
  7. Performance issue in places la Carph. There are specific places where game always freezes for a few seconds or even crashes.
  8. I just started a new Cleric, the kit feels very good so far. As a person who has healed for over 10y I am really missing the option to mouseover the frames without actually targeting the friendly. Also, as a healer I can argue that it is very useful for my frames to be consistent: difference between Raid Frames and Party Frame is very big(maybe enable an option to always use raid frame layout), add an order to members Tank>Heal>DPS or sth.

  2. Cleric class needs a spirit/mana refresh/replenishment similar to the Bard but more direct/powerful. This could EASILY be implemented (if not now) then when secondary classes come out... Cleric/Cleric (High Priest) should have (needs to have) this one their skill tree.

  3. Quest lines that may be accomplished solo and give decent XP. I realize group play is encouraged, however, we need this for progression outside of groups.

  4. On the character selection screen -- ability to see the character progression bar would be a positive QoL issue.

  5. Communal Restoration fails to work in a Raid config as it only affects members in your group -- please make this Raid wide.

  1. Node Buff persistence - Every time the server is brought down, we lose node buffs earned via mayoral commissions. This has resulted in many wasted commissions, and lack of being able to take advantage of the buffs.

  2. Send To Warehouse - This feature has never worked, and would solve a lot of processing issues due to the current inventory system

  3. Overall performance in large scale pvp suffers - Skill lag is insane during node war last night. I would cast Field of Vines and it would not appear where I originally clicked and would take 3-5 seconds to appear at all.

  1. During Node Wars/Large Scale PVP, current target indicators are very difficult to see in a sea of red names.

  2. Hunting Rarity is insanely inefficient. Over 500 rarity seems to make little to no difference than no rarity on a sample size of 1000 gathers

  3. Static rarity on gatherables (trees, mines, herbs) makes it a race to find the legendaries, and then setting an alarm every ~4 hours to camp it out. This makes rarity rating on every other gathering profession a moot point anyways.

  1. Ranger abilities which cause you to move quickly, such as disengage, often cause characters to freeze and/or lag in midair, and fall well short of where their momentum should have carried them.
  2. Camouflage does not always work, and will often leave your character completely visible (though their nameplate is hidden, and they have to be very close to be able to target)
  3. Some of the waterways have gaps where the water texture shows on the surface, but it does not extend all the way to the floor of the river/pond/lake/etc... While I enjoy the underwater views without fear of drowning, it is still an important bug to report.

  1. Thank you for fixing the bug that caused helm items to not show on my character.

Allow a tank to build the classes main stat and have an effect. All tanks play like fighters currently as everyone gets 1-3 shot.
  3. Healer nerfs also need to be reverted or improved on. With TTK this low, it makes healinga meme. Soon it will just be Bards, Mages and Rangers as the optimal group
  4. Camoflauge is laughable
  5. Tank pull needs to actually work. A giga pull where you can mass pull people on a large cooldown would also help make the class more relevant outside on leveling in PvE

  1. Higher rarity availability of hunting materials due to Hunting nodes only spawning at common starting rarity (fat/hide especially)

  2. Node Buffs being wiped on server restart - This is making it very difficult to maintain any node buffs on EU due to the timings of restarts/hotfix patches

  3. Bear Carcasses are very hard to get due to the drop rate being 20% of hunting drops.

  4. Mayor Herb/Lumber commissions are currently unable to be completed as you are unable to hand the materials at the mayor depot chest.

  5. Tank grapple is very flaky.

  1. All materials required from hunting are significantly lower supply than all other material sources. Higher rarity resources especially.

  2. Processing should work like crafting. Allowing us to mix rarities while processing would make overcoming some of the the supply shortfalls in the economy less bad (hunting mats).

  3. Weeping Willow availibity is far too low. There are very few spawns, even less so when you remove the spawns inside the world mesh that are unharvestable. Willow is required for a huge amounts of the Artisan systems and is in very short supply especially in higher rarities.

  4. Offensive stats (str/int) are scaling far better than defensive stats (con/resists) and player health. This is leading to TTK being way too low and will only continue to get worse as Player gear level slowly increases.

  5. Tanks are not tanky enough in PVP. We have 0 damage but our defensives are also not great either. We should be tanky with lots of CC but currently in PVP we just get one shot the same as anyone else.

  6. The game is based around a player crafted economy. There is FAR too much artisan crafted gear on vendors. This is hopefully just for testing, but it invalidates a lot of the main game loops when you can buy, artisan clothes, bags, enchanting scrolls, gear on vendors for very little gold.

  3. PVE heals are cake, maybe even stupid ez. PVP heals in the current meta is relatively poor with booty-blasting 1-2 shots. Defiant does it's job but possibly a bubble on the character vs a HoT that (stops death but they die anyways when death prevented). Think like bubble from WoW paladin. Debuff from it and possibly longer CD on defiant light. Make it stronger but more punishing if used incorrectly. Right now, it's just a nice HoT.
  4. Hi. AoE purge/purify or instacast purify? Even have two specs from communal restoration (since it's party wide). One spec gives you HoT, one spec gives you a 3-tick(2sec ea') purify buff on all party members.
  5. sliderrrrrrr for processing and mix-n-match rarities. This might allow for better 'quality rating' clothing to be beneficial

Its not a bug (which is what should be focused on) but something REALLY FUCKING ANNOYING is why am I being aggro'd and my time wasted by mobs im 1-2 shotting? Shouldnt there be an intimidation factor towards lower mobs the higher lvl you get? This game is supposed to be HUGE in terms of size so this is already going to be time consuming but this aspect makes gathering or traveling VERY INEFFICIENT and VASTLY FRUSTRATING and ultimately a waste of time to an extent. This is an issue I would like to see fixed once more pressing matters have been focused on.

  1. need a clear delineation of where lawless/lawfull areas are. it is verrrry easy to accidentally stumble into lawless as it is not marked in the world or on the map. now that the automatic flagging takes an eon to drop off, it is very easy for players to accidentally put themselves into a position to be slaughtered whilst gathering, etc. also, i have a verrry fast mount, and sometimes the autoflag hasnt fallen off by the time i reach a town after leaving lawless--the sentries will of course kill people who are flagged :)) a warning as we approach a town might be helpful? and pls put something on the maps to show us where lawless starts and ends :))

I was in the eastern node near oakenbain and theres a path I would take to get back to town to repair or vendor and climbing the rocks with the horse is horrendous. the geometry doesnt match whats actually on the screen. super jank. additionally, while i was mining, I would constantly ship my pants when a bear comes out of the mountain face or a minotaur appears from under the ground. scary.

  2. the stats in the character tab dont make a lot of sense to me; I was trying out the ranger and the long bow the other day and theres lots of penetration that I can get access to but I wasnt seeing much of a difference in my DPS. It would be nice to indicate if a mob/humanoid/etc is armored or do the frogs a have 'tough skin' or something that makes them susceptible to burn? idk having some buff indicator that gives a "armored" or "unarmoured" or "tough skin" tag so we can more easily identify mob weaknesses or strengths would be cool.
  3. realm crashes or network lag is really annoying but i imagine that will get better with time. there also seems to be an issue when I alt tab sometimes it locks me out of making actions other than casting spells; I cant hit a menu or interact. I can just alt tab again to fix it but its weird nontheless

It is unreasonable to upgrade from a high quality Apprentice tool to any journeyman and lose access to lower quality tools even after demoting. There should be a limit to a number of times you can regain access to a lower tool to prevent bouncing between the two masteries.

  1. As a lot of people start to reach end-game/level 25, there's far less actual PvP happening than expected. Almost no node wars happening, and open world PvP is largely limited to caravans with the current Flagging meta. (Caravans are so boring, personally hate that we have to do this to find PvP.) Would love to see more incentive (or less disincentives) for nodes to go to war and fight, etc. so we can test and enjoy more large scale stuff. When they only thing to do at endgame is fight other players and there aren't that many fights, you start to lose testers until the "next big thing" patches. This will keep people playing longer.

  2. Consider putting bosses/resources on more random timers or base them on area activity so people can't simply camp things with logged out alts or have groups rolling from timer to timer and not interacting with the rest of the game/environment.

  3. Defensive stats have diminishing returns while offensive stats do not, leading to a huge delta in Power vs. Defense/Mitigation. Give us more incentive to build interesting specs and experiment with mitigation/defense/evastion/etc. by having them not be bad!

  1. if we are expected to play for 50ish days 4-6hours a day to hit max level (50) the PVE experience will need a lot of work. If the grind stays in its current state of being boring and repetitive on release doing this for 200-300 hours for ONE character will kill the game.

  1. Resource nodes aren't randomized
    Self-explanatory, mineral and lumber resources need to not be predictable rarities to farm on spawn timers. This is well known, of course, but it's also the highest priority for me.
  2. Headpieces remove hair
    Cosmetic, I know. But It's so tiring to see every spellcaster go bald when they wear those bone helmets. Hair clipping through parts of these crown type helmets is totally fine, especially at this stage of the game. Totally preferrable to going bald.
  3. Some enemies (notably the Scarab Hatchlings in the desert) pursue mounted players far beyond leash ranges.
    I've seen these damned bugs skitter all the way to Lionhold in some cases, sometimes they disengage, othertimes they pursue endlessly until killed. I'm not sure why these monsters do it specifically, but I suspect it's due to their attack patterns having an ability right at the top of the chain.

    This makes it incredibly tedious to scan through the marketplace for items, rather than materials. I'm constantly having to switch the tabs back on each store to check if they have both materials or items.     If I click on a store with no items, it throws me to the material tab. But if I click on a store with no materials, it just stays on the materials tab.
    Just let me scroll through the stores on the tab that I want to view. Don't auto-switch me to a different one that I have no interest in looking at right now. Ugghhhh >:(
  2. Dwarves look fantastic!
    One of the best renditions I've seen in a game. They feel very grounded and heavy. They give great LotR vibes for their styling. Can't wait to see the islander dwarves!
  3. AoEs can be hard to see
    Low-graphic settings, or busy terrain can obscure important AoE abilities. They can be vital elements of a fight and should be easily visible.

  1. As a healer, raid frames are much easier to use to heal allies. However, any time someone leaves or joins the party the raid frames disappear. You have to go back into the HUD interface for them to reappear. This is incredibly frustrating and oftentimes happens mid combat, so it's even more difficult to navigate to the HUD interface.
  2. Adjustments to hitting "F" to gather nodes numerous times before it actually registers. Sometimes it registers instantly, other times you have to move your character and adjust to make it work.
  3. Your UI needs to stay if you make adjustments and log out. Raid frames reset locations every time you log out.

  1. There needs to be a better way to play solo. I know it's an MMORPG and grouping matters, but sometimes I have limited time to play and don't have time to find a group, get grouped up, then begin to farm. That can take too long (and sometimes playing solo is fun). And with fewer people at the lower levels, it's increasingly difficult to find players to group with. Either more soloable farm areas need to exist and/or commissions/quests need to be more rewarding. Unless I want to gather/craft, I feel like I need at least an hour or more to play if I want to log into the game.
  2. Some QoL with crafting would be appreciated. It should take time and effort, that much should not change. However, why do I need to click on my fuel for every single craft? In the crafting UI, I'd like to see a number next to an item if I can craft a certain quantity of it. A sound queue when something completes would be ideal as well.
  3. I know more music is coming, but having more than 1 soundtrack play would be fantastic. Also, there is no music in villages right now which is unfortunate. I know this is coming, but it's something I notice every time I play.

  3. Cleric heals feel too big. When my judgement crits I can heal for 6,700 which is enough to take any take in the game from 1% to 100%, and you can instant-cast it with Divine infusion. I think time-to-kill is way too fast, and healing is way too big; so HP amounts should stay the same but all healing and damage should be reduced by a fair bit.
  4. Half of my inventory is 5 artisan shirts, 5 artisan pants, and a few artisan belts. Please let me equip multiple at once and only apply the relevant ones, or something.

Please Make the best resources to farm be in pvp zones, it would be way more entertaining to fight for mounts or cool dungeons than getting trained or spamming f (as in the case for getting mounts) - by making things harder to get it gives players a reason to log on and compete

Please make a board where people can post for mercenary groups in game, would be a nice way to see what kinda content people are looking for help with

Make respawn rates for rare resources higher in PVP zones (maybe even increased rarirty) so more people are farming that area and adds content

  2. For a social game it doesn't promote that at all anymore. People are more interested in killing others and taking their stuff or trying to threaten or talk down to others so that they can have the other persons spot for camping. I do think that people play games to be able to escape reality for a little awhile and there is way to much of "real life" nonsense going on the game. If you want a social game it might be a good idea to promote working together rather than it is ok to do "murder & mayhem".
  3. Need a shared banking/guild banking to be able to exchange thins between characters easier. Also, Animal Husbandry amounts for training need to be lowered if you can't chose if you want to make a mount or beast of burden.

  2. Freehold: no matter the quality planted you will still get all common output - we tested in different freeholds and all of them yielded common only resources no matter the input (tried both trees and flowers of different kind)
  3. hunting rarity does not work which affect all the professions that needs it + makes hunting the least profitable out of all gathering professions.

  1. resources respawns being fixed makes a few put down a timer and just go and grab them. Some specific points in the map have resources that will always drop legendary which should not be the case
  2. hunting: needs a rework on how you get the animals. Once you reach journeyman you have people camping the few mobs that have a chance to drop the rare animal. this should not be the case, only a hunter should be able to do so at the right level (possibly in the future by having a specific item only a hunter can craft). Also animals should be randomized in the map, people are just camping spots on timers while it should be random places in the map to avoid datamining. As a hunter i feel 0 rewards having achieved a journeyman
  3. Remove the 50% chance for animal husbandry, this should not be the case for an animal husbandrist that reached journeyman; it feels amatourish at best. Make it instead the expert can choose the outcome - maybe increase the cost if the player is trying to craft a mount and lower it if it's for a bob?
  4. pvp in general seems a waste of time unless you farmed your way to super end gear game. Would be nice to see some balancing done in the future around that, especially for caravan runs. On this note caravan runs should have more balancing:

  2. Please reconsider the Guild Talent tree to not increase guild members from a talent point. Let guilds be the size they want to be from Day 1 but limit how many talent points they can use depending on how big the guild is. This is a big deal imo and should just let guild be the size they want to be.

  3. Please look at consumables on vendors. Looking at Cooks and Alchemists here. The fact people are getting common food consumables and selling them in other node marketplaces seems wrong to me. My suggestion is to get rid of the profession consumables from vendors all together and make people go to the profession people instead.

  1. The Grit change completely changed the vibes of tanking in a bad way. I am a huge tank fan, I've been playing a tank since 1999 Everquest launch. I play a tank in every game I play. I can't stand the Grit change. It's legitimately not fun.
    a) Grit no longer being an aura. All other classes have indefinite buffs for self and group. Please let tanks have the same.
    b) Mitigation is the fundamental difference between Tanks and non-Tanks. It should be a given that we simply have a mindset we can swap into before battle to harden ourselves, AKA: a toggled permanent self buff. Needing to press a skill every 10 seconds at the detriment of my other skills feels bad.
    c) I felt less able to use my other active mitigation skills because I was constantly checking my buff counter, and chugging through courage to keep the stupid buff up. This does not feel good.
    d) This doesn't make me feel more like a tank. I feel like a caster who needs to constantly keep myself buffed.
    e) A 10s duration means I will have to press it every 10 seconds. My hands hurt.
    f) We now no longer have innate threat gen? oof.

  2. Tanks feel like they have no class identity. I don't ever feel like a "tank" unless I'm actively grouping. My survivability solo is terrible. I don't feel strong, I don't feel powerful, I don't feel like I can take more damage than other classes because I do so little damage that by the time I've killed a mob I've taken far more damage than a DPS would have.

  3. Please change the class name away from Tank. I'm not always tanking. Other classes can "tank", but they're not Tanks. It's awkward.

  3. mitigation (physical and magical ) for fighter doesn't seem to work at all. Currently fighter and tank in group pvp are the first people targeted and killed. Fighters and tanks should have great survive-ability and feared and they should be at the front of the fight. they shouldn't have to stand in the back of the crowd and shoot with a bow just in order to stay alive. Fighter needs a skill to give full momentum similar to tanks have a skill the can use for full courage. the cooldowns for both skills should be on a 30 second timer. Fighters and tanks shouldnt be able to be killed in three shots from any class in pvp. both fighter and tank need more cc breaks and mobility skills. 4) need a guild bank desperately with tons of storage. currently we have to make alts, shuffle stuff around and its a pain in the ass. Expand storage for players as well. 5) Guild leader activity commissions that have guildies participate in oder to gain guild xp and glint for the guild. 6) Guild tools in game to see which guild persons has gathering or crafting skills. 8) this is an even number which is why ill stop here 9) The npc economy is screwing the player crafting. you can buy excavation kits cheaper than they can be made. Same with scrolls for scribes, cheaper to buy them from the vendor.

  1. Some mobs need there damage dialed back like the Grems, why is a level 10 nearly 4 tapping my level 20 mage in medium armor. And the Rot hounds, they attack way too fast and if 2 get on you, unless your a cleric you are essentially doomed.

  2. Respawn rates on mobs in POI's need to be dialed back a lot, currently the meta is walk into Sephilion, Steel Bloom, Carphin, choose a spot and exp grind for hours. and its mainly possible due to how fast things respawn.

  3. On the topic of Mobs and POI's Bosses need to be clearer that they are a boss, also make it more rewarding to actually kill a boss, the named semi boss or main boss i don't know, we killed her after 30 mins or less and all she dropped was a crafting recipe, I'm not saying drop Legendary tier armor I'm saying let her drop either a guaranteed armor or weapon ( any in the loot pool ) and or give us a ton of exp for doing it as its not rewarding killing any Boss or semi boss in a dungeon or Open world like Atticus the bear.

  4. Classes need more skills ( which might be the subclasses? maybe? ) but at this moment in the testing period every class can take everyone of there abilities and roughly 7 passives at level 25, there's no real option to be for example a pure Fire Mage where all i do is burn and my ignite can stack higher than 25 or something. there needs to be more tough decisions in the skills.

  5. speaking of skills and weapons, Bow is too strong, doesn't matter what class you are, a 2 handed bow will also be better than the other ranged items. I'll more than likely get so much hate for this but it needs to be said, everyone has a bow. even my mage after leveling the wand, a 2 handed bow was better stated. also the trees are very linear, I'm sure more is on its way but i would like a bit more forced direction like for wand let me be able to "enhance" my fire magic so my fire is stronger or my ice is stronger or allow all of my attacks to be beams combined or even allow for a "build up or charge " where i can shoot 1 big ball, its just all small stats that don't really have an effect, both swords 1 and 2 handed have the same tree. which doesn't seem right to me, i also feel like the skills tree should have like actual skills in the tree instead of stats ( for weapons ) Like for wand have a repel/ push back or have a volley similar to arcane missile ( i wouldn't add more than 3 - 5 for your main hand weapon )

This may be added later on I'm unsure, but we need more reasons to explore other POI's like Grave peak and the Stone pillars, there's no reason to go there at any point so a lot of content is just being missed ( again I'm assuming quests are going to fix this but at this current point its only the big 3 Seph, Bloom and Carphin )

  7. I feel there should be a gold cap on a lot of items and crafted items, there's a lot of forced item meta prices going on and as much as its an open P v X game allowing someone to sell a mount for 50 gold or more is unreal.

  8. my 8th and final as its a lot, Mounts should not have a set mount speed, every crafted mount should have a varying speed based on player skill and resources used to " help " the mount grow. otherwise end game its just going to be the same as it has in the test the maxed trainers are going to just find the hunting mounts train them and sell them and eventually everyone will have the " fastest mount in the game" and it would lose its charm. If it depended on skill ( a mini game ) and resources and still have the RNG it would be great to see a standard horse out run a Gryphon or a Raptor ( cap speed at 350% or something )

  1. Static node spawns make the game un-fun and more of a chore, and incentivize players with no jobs or high downtime to camp these spots and make it impossible for any othr players to get the resources. The spawns should be randomized or staggered, so that it's purely up to luck and time spent in the game. Boss spawns also should be slightly staggered, people are running around hitting bosses at the exact time they spawn and denying the rest of the server the opportunity.
  2. War Dec Windup times - I've seen several friends leave the game over this, war decs not having a windup time means when they're the one declared on they have no opportunity to put mats away or prepare. When the Journeyman axe came up in Vyra, the Dopamine (exploiter) guild immediately war decced all the guilds in the vicinity and any that came in so they could deny them to axe while crafting them for their own players. Then, they camped the braidwood trees for the entire day and basically monopolized the spawns due to the static node spawns. It's incredibly frustrating to be standing in town and just immediately die before you even knew what was going on.
  3. I have heard several people say there's no content or nothing to do; while I disagree, I find that they have a point in that there's nothing to "accomplish" at 25. I personally believe the game STARTS at 25, since you become able to do all the content, but I can understnad their perspective that there's nothing left to aim for beyond getting good gear.
  4. Enchantments are buyable and too strong, and scribes are pretty worthless atm. As a scribe, I wish I was the only one able to make the scrolls vs them being buyable in the vendor so I had a bit more of a job to do. I know more freehold stuff and recipes are coming in the future, it just currently sucks.
  5. I overall think you guys are doing a great job, but the game incentivizes hardcore, sweaty, pvp players over casual, for-fun players. People regularly say "it's a PvP game, get over it" when things happen, and I find that to be unrewarding. The caravan system heavily punishes defenders and leans heavily in favor of attackers, there's low consequences for corrupted players (They can have a friend wipe it off and move on), even stunning a player and stealing their node is almost undefeatable. Just a lot of reasons more casual players might wind up giving up on the game, cuz they have no reason to try and compete with the sweatiest guilds or worst offending players.

  2. Clerics Chains of restraint does not have a template on the floor (compared to Divine Flare, which works the same)

  1. NERF enchanting - it gives way too much power to the gear and this is impacting TTK heavily. My offered solution would be to make enchants only grant armor/magic resist, damage only on weapons, hp or mana regen on jewelry (and enchant should be euqal to about 1% increase on that item per enchant level), This way enchanting still has a meaning as fully enchanted person will definitely be stronger against non enchanted person, but it won't be 3x power difference. And it will push TTK to the opposite direction allowing better expression of skill and longer battles. This will also make level 20 gear useful as enchanted lvl 10 will not instantly outscale lvl20 grear.
  2. Gathering node spawns MUST be fully random. Also please don't allow T1/T2 materials respawn as T3 which are impossible to gather as it creates scarcity of said nodes - if someone gathers Tin ore somewhere in the node, make that tin node respawn somewhere else within the node after random timer at random quality- this way overall amount of specific gathering nodes remains the same.
  3. Keep up the good work! Playing since launch of A2 it's great to see the constant improvements and iterations to the systems. Thank you!

Regarding Time To Kill PVP, instead of making changes to enchants and the like, just script in a new damage value system for PVP only to reduce damage by a given percentage and keep it separated from the PVE damage system. it will be a lot easier to balance and save work hours trying to balance that scale than to have to keep rebalancing all aspects of the game.

The area of big events such as World Bosses (Firebrand, Tumok) should be a PvP zone. Right now it is impossible to have proper fights there. Not sure if I have good solutions but it could be like caravans (e.g. "Do you want to take part in the Firebrand event?"). So nobody is forced to PvP if they bypass.

Top Issue: Death Penalties Are Overly Punishing
The current death mechanics are excessively harsh, making the experience frustrating rather than challenging.

Every death results in multiple penalties, including:

XP Loss (XP Debt) – Progress is set back significantly, making leveling feel like an uphill battle.
Stat Dampening – A direct performance hit, making recovery even harder.
Resource Loss – Losing gathered materials or loot adds to the frustration.
Durability Damage – Forces additional time and money spent on repairs.
Time Wasted Running Back – The 1-minute loot protection timer is too short; by the time I return, someone who looted my items (often after mob-training me intentionally) is already unattackable due to anti-PVP mechanics.
This system does not respect the player’s time. I have been stuck at level 18 for weeks because the sheer punishment of dying makes me actively avoid leveling. Today, I spent 14 hours grinding from level 19 to 20, and it was one of the worst experiences I've had in 15 years of playing MMOs.

The leveling loop is miserable:

Endless downtime – Hours spent looking for groups, waiting for replacements, and searching for tanks (which are currently unplayable due to poor class design).
Group wipes due to minor mistakes – A single mistimed skill or mob train can set an entire party back massively.
Tanks suffer the most – Since tanks naturally take the most damage, they die 3x more often but receive no passive to reduce XP debt.

Proposed Fix:
Choose one primary penalty for death, not all of them.

Durability loss and running back are already punishing enough.
If resource loss is kept, remove XP debt.
If XP debt stays, remove stat dampening and resource loss.
Right now, every single system stacks against the player. This is not fun, not rewarding, and actively discourages engagement. Please reconsider how death penalties are handled.

3)After a few deaths notices that the XP debt will not be taken away or used up when you get XP nor increases your level without a relog in some cases.
(Haven't found out what causes any of these for replication)

Randomness and spawn activity meters (just copy paste the placeholder system for oathbearers for example, for bosses and harvestables)
  2. enchanting change is a solution to a different problem than Ttk. Low ttk is occurring because of stat scaling imbalance. Specifically, offensive stats scale better than defensive stats. Mitigation is nearly impossible to get over 60%. Power scales indefinitely. That’s your problem. The enchanting system only interacts with that problem because people choose to enchant offense. Nerfing the impact of enchanting is a very bad idea because it is the only system keeping testers around and represents a future endgame system. Make defense scale equivalently to offense and move enchanting from flat change to percent change.
  3. another contributor to how simple character build is: waterfall stats on gear. Int is such an easy chase because it gives you base power + pen + accuracy. I’d rather have all gear have more stat lines but not those six waterfall.

  1. War forced home town respawn. Players in dungeon groups are forced to run all the way from their hometown if they die when their node happens to be at war. Ruins group play. No warning of this.
  2. NPC un-lootable bodies. You can view the body and see your Glint, but you're unable to loot. Hop on/off mount to fix or relog. Can't Hop on/off mount in tiny rooms.
  3. Party UI Disappearing after relog. Toggle raid on/off to fix.

  1. Grit as a Toggle was preferable to Grit as a maintained ability.
  2. Did Courage give physical protection before as the meter filled? Believe that was better, rewarded more patient tank gameplay rather than spamming abilities. It trains players to hold onto abilities until necessary, or predicting the fight. Rather than emptying their resource and cd immediately to max dps.
  3. Mana Maintenance and Refreshing Reflect. Mana seems to be in a good place. It's difficult to maintain for prolonged periods, but if you have Refreshing Reflect, then you're able to maintain almost constant up time. Rewards skilled gameplay, and doesn't require that much skill neither.
  4. Tanks need better damage mitigation or self heals. They should be able to hold 3-4 enemies of their current level and cleave to win. Right now dps classes are able to burn down packs of targets and get good xp over time. Sit and heal etc. Tanks take forever, which is fair, but they should instead be able to cleave more targets so that they achieve similar solo xp farming to a dps single target farming. If a dps can solo 3 targets in x time, then a tank should be able to solo cleave 3 targets in relatively the same time. The difference is the tank would sit in the targets more or less and soak the damage instead of having to dance out and evade constantly.

-when casting intimidating aura on tank sometimes it causes a long period of animation where the tank moves extremely slow while holding his arms out in the animation and other times it’s fluid and doesn’t go into slow motion. Seems like I run into this more if I cast it from a sprint

  2. Let the mouse stick to the action combat style! Sometimes it will still just let my mouse mosey around when I'm in active combat mode and it's hard to steer.

  3. Sometimes my abilities will fire at mobs super far away during active combat, even if I have never scrolled over them. It seems to be quite random sometimes.

Not sure why this is not the case, since IRL we also use charcoal for steel produciton.

  2. Citizenship taxation can be skipped by not paying and just dropping citizenship and reapplying after 3 days. Also the fees are ok for lvl 20+ having to pay 1gold for citizenship if you can actually MAKE GLINT / GOLD via missions or farming, but most of the times you just die and loose it anyway.

  1. Tank's need back back some survivability buffs, jesus it's SO HARD to find a TANK. Because even if we get a PUG going, if the tank dies 2 times then it's over, he gets debt, he has a repair bill, he has no glint or money to repair... it's punishing and disincentivizing tanks to play / exist.

  2. Bards having to move so much in order to apply their buffs to their party because of the circle of their effects is very annoying, more often than not it will cause bards to misposition themselves in such a way as to pull extra aggro. Please just make their buffs apply to all their party members at double the range or even triple. As a drawback if needed reduce effectiveness, but make it so they will just be less incentivized to jump around like Super Mario.

  3. Please adjust Glint loss. Right now loosing 25% and dropping 25% massively disincentivizes PUGs. It feels super punishing to farm for one hour, not take a break to go to town to deposit your Glint and THEN you die and literally loose golds worth of glint. Debt is already harsh enough. Numbers need to be cut to half at the moment.

Weekly Feedback - 2/10/2025

Top 3-5 Most Important Bugs:

  1. Hunting Rarity - At hunting level 37, I have only EVER gotten 3 hroic carcasses, and maybe half a dozen rare. This is even with food, clothing, etc. As far as trainables, I have never gotten anything above rare and the only thing that is affected by rarity are the beast of burdens.

  2. Mounts being frozen in animation. Please, I can't take it.

  3. Hunting animals show as collected but never make it into inventory. This is a new one for me but has been increasing in occurrence over this past test period.

  1. Please balance Husbandry. The T2 Desert BoB are effectively worthless. T1 Riverlands BoB are superior in literally every way. The entire husbandry system is very frustrating. It's ridiculously expensive to train animals, takes forever to train them, and then you can't do anything with them once the market is flooded or ppl tank the market (which takes no time at all). Other professions can sell their stuff to the vendor to recoup some coin. Mounts sell for 0, and only select BoB can be sold back...for 1c. So, pay 1g 65s to train... make maybe 1c. I have full inventory of BoB and have to delete them or try giving them away to do anything else. It's painful.

  2. I would love to see hunting/husbandry rarity and/or speed increase with skill level. Forget the shirt, the food, the potion, let me be faster or get something with more rarity at baseline because i have way more experience.

  3. Caravans. When you place a caravan, you get a message to do so away from prying eyes. Why then, are we not only announcing that there is a caravan nearby, but now also whose caravan it is? I feel like it would be a much better system if players had to actually see a caravan to even know there was one around. And if you want to defend or attack, you should have to interact with the caravan itself. It's pointless to "be wary of prying eyes" then be announced.

Feedback:

  1. I like the direction of bard saga/book buffs. 3x red feels good, 3x blue theoretically feels good, 3x yellow feels underwhelming, creation feels bad. We're very starved for talent points which makes volume 2 + taking multiple book buffs feel less powerful & difficult to make it work (especially when trying to run multiple melodies!). Destiny feels bad, but idk math on what's needed for accuracy/avoidance to matter
  2. I don't like that cathartic melody is such a steep RNG (tbh I don't like that's it's RNG in the first place, but 25% is brutal)
  3. Epic melody resonant skill does not feel good. A CC dispel generally needs to be quick in order to be effective. Timing your finishers in a predictive way feels impractical (tbh, impossible) compared to blowing a bunch of damage into someone with menacing. Turning the dispel into an offensive dispel could be really interesting, but potentially too good?
  4. Enchanting (and gearing in general) leaves little room for choice, ex. +1 int vs +1 magic power vs +1 max hp
  5. Casting speed doesn't feel good on a bard. Shortbow just feels inferior to longbow for this reason & the range diff isn't overcome. I think cast speed should affect melodies, maybe more things? Maybe finding a way for stats like this to affect buffs like anthem or epic melody (goal of creating more choice w/ stats)?

Bugs:

  1. 'Dance mastery: energy' bug relating to getting on mounts + mesmerizing dance not resetting the cooldown of flourish
  2. Bard GOTS does not knockback in pvp (but lands the disarm)
  3. Caravan bugs (crashes, unable to join event while grouped, healing outside the event)

Top 3-5 Most Important Bugs:

  1. Consistent rarity and timing on gatherable node respawns:
    this might be exciting for crafters, but it is severely damaging the gatherable game play loop.

  2. Lack of warning for full quest log and/or inventory:
    if you accept/end certain quests without knowing your inventory/quest log is full it can lock you out of quest progress/rewards

  3. Large scale combat intermittently locks out combat skills
    noticed this on Bard where Flourish, Marionette, and Clever Retort would become greyed out and unusable even though it was off cooldown

Feedback:
General tuning is showing great progress and I see the systems moving in a productive direction. Yet, I ran into a few instances where I had to run from mobs that were 10 levels under the character because the mobs do too much damage and I did too little damage. I really hope the next pass brings either better balance or warning for such situations.

Second-Hand feedback: Heard murmurs and talk about desert maps being insanely hard to find and giving mediocre rewards compared to Riverlands Treasure Maps.

  1. Ranger party stride playing sound for each character hit, making it very loud when in a group.
  2. Caravans dissapearing when converting to/from raft and land-carriage
  3. If all your items in a shop expire, your shop description gets reset.
  4. During node wars, those not in either node can still heal those flagged for combat without getting flagged themselves.

  1. There is a vast discrepency between the leveling paths for different professions. Some seem very quick and simple to level while others are a lot more tedious (e.g. hunting).
  2. Shop item listings feel too short now/have to list at a specific time in order for people to get a chance to see/buy it. Also would like a why to re-list at the same price in the menu instead of removing it & re-listing.

  2. Storage bags not properly stacking their materials. Both node storage with anything other than General Storage, and bags (Hunting not stacking corpses, etc)

  1. I have never been able to change the BoB on my caravan. Please fix this, allow us to change the BoB!
  2. There seems to be some sort of permanent de-sync with a lot of different NPC enemies. Grem for instance, will attack you from 30 yards away while facing the wrong direction.
  3. People were able to train Journeyman level mounts due to an issue with the desert updates recently, these mounts should not be available to those who abused the bug. Would love to see these journeyman mounts wiped.
  4. Specialized storage in a node does not affect stack size of appropriate materials, only gives you a smaller storage capacity.
  5. When trading with someone, there is an error message that says you have no room in your bags if your Sanctus bag doesn't have room for the items being traded, even if the rest of your bags are empty. Items being added to your inventory should prioritize any slots that are open and the appropriate size.

  1. Certain gatherable nodes that are harvested at a high rarity, will respawn in the exact same spot as the same rarity - effectively guaranteeing market saturation of high rarity gatherables, or allowing people to trivialize high rarity crafted items, or exploit the market to make gold.
  2. Mayors are able to fly their flying mounts into the forge to check on named mob spawns without aggroing anything. Please make dungeons dismount you when entering.
  3. Please fix scroll buffs for gathering/crafting/processing - they don't work. Additionally, pylons seem to be broken as well.
  4. Make explicit chat filters optional, some of us can handle vulgar language.

  1. Cleric/Healing in General - Frames: As a game that contains a lot of group content, it would be vital to immediately revamp and look at enhancing the party/raid frames. Some items that are of immediate concern with its current state:
  • Party Frames: You cannot easily see a list of all combat-related buffs/debuffs; unrelated buffs, such as crafting xp, often clutter up the bar. This makes it hard to see if the tank requires a purify or if I need to renew the HoT on them. Unrelated combat buffs should be removed from those frames and only viewable on the target selection frame or only removable/limited time buffs should be shown.
  • Raid Frames: You cannot see any buffs/debuffs at all for mouseover healing.
  • Both frames have issues with updating/displaying who is online/offline or in and out of range. Certain skills that cannot be supported for mouseover.
  • Both frames, and the game generally, has issues with some hotkeys. For example, binding a mouseover skill onto the "Middle Mouse Button" causes you to also select the character to cast - this is not the same case for "Thumb Mouse Button" and "Thumb Mouse Button 2".
  • The game's option to have both an offensive and defensive target selected is nice - but the versatility of mouseover healing via party/raid frames is so much more effective.
  1. Inventory/Storage: A few QoL enhancements, such as pulling materials out of your current storage for crafting and fuel, and a quick "order" button (i.e. move everything to fill top to bottom of bag - because missing slots/spaces between are annoying to manage) would be awesome.

  1. the spawn timer and rarity for resources needs to at least temporarily be more random
    2)the drop in server to system connection when you tab in and out of the game leads to a bunch of visual and system bugs that require a 15 second log out
  2. the 7 days implemented for the market is currently only 3 days would like that looked at.

Top 3-5 Most Important Feedback Topics:
1)inventory management sucks room wise as a JM miner and AP herbalist don't nearly have enough room in storage and bags
2)the pricing for vendor sale versus crafting price needs an adjustment an example is tin focus is 11s to even make but the vender sells a common one for 7s
3)really need a 24 hour warning on any wars and would also like a little bit more objective play than just team deathmatch

I've only got one really this time - one that's been on my annoy list for a very long time. My character has not been able to do Treasure Maps since their initial release where I did my first treausure map, never abandoned it, it timed out and removed from my quest list and now I cannot start another treasure map.
