  1. Items being deleted when traded instead of appearing in the other players inventory.
  2. Mobs constantly exiting combat or resetting aggro.
  3. Mobs spawning within walls or under the map, which screws up farming areas.
  4. Mobs being dragged away from their original spawnpoint. MAKE MOBS RESET IF NOT WITHIN A CERTAIN RADIUS OF INITIAL SPAWN AFTER AN AMOUNT OF TIME.
  5. Harvestable resources not being able to be interacted with.

  1. The delay of Level 4 Nodes until Phase 3 feels like a major failure and in need of being directly addressed.
  2. The delays in Rogue being showcased or playable feel like a major failure and in need of being directly addressed.
  3. The current state of Artisan systems, in particular how Rarity works and the availability of certain resource spawns, does not feel good, which is further compounded by the lack of Level 4 Nodes to allow more stations. In specific, Weeping Willow is needed for FAR too much compared to Oak/Ash/Larch/Hemlock, and spawns FAR too rarely and with spawns either overlapped by other trees or with too long of a spawn timer.
  4. Static-rarity harvestable nodes lead to people mining high-tier mats, writing down a timer, and camping the nodes on-timer. This results in a hyper-accumulation of certain resources for a very small handful of players, and rewards random luck and camping more than it does actually getting good gear for artisan skills.
  5. Pyromancers, Firestarters, and any other fire-based casters have obscenely overtuned damage values both in terms of single-target and AoE.

  1. Hunting animals is not abiding by the certification requirement. For example, being able to hunt bears while only being a novice hunter.
  2. Mobs getting stuck in terrain and/or not being targetable.
  3. Right clicking on items in your inventory while interacting with the storage clerk, does not always transfer the item. It seems to be random as to when it will work and when it won't. I've noticed the problem more frequently in Joeva
  4. Fighter whrilwind cancels itself randomly most of the time it gets used.
  5. Graphical settings in the menu don't seem to get saved, settings will be reset in the UI sometimes during play or when re-opening the client.

  1. Processing - Allow us to have the ability to process multiple different tiers of an item for a single job. For example, if I have 1 uncommon Zinc and 4 common Zinc, let me run a job of 5 with all of them. Or instead of limiting the player to run jobs of only 1/5/10/25, let us choose any number of materials to process for a single job. Lastly, I would prefer there to be no timer to process materials and just let the job complete immediately much like crafting. But if this is not preferred then there should also be some kind of global notification for your character that a job has finished and the mini-map should point the player to where that is.
  2. Storefront updates - Being able to have more granular customization as to how we manage our storefront is something I've wanted. I would love the ability to not only change the description of the storefront, but also the name of it that appears. Also, for when the UI inevitably gets updated, having the UI elements that represent each store have space to advertise specific items or list sales on specific items to incentivize potential customers seems like an interesting idea to expand upon what's currently in-game.
  3. Create a "New Player" channel so new testers can ask questions about certain mechanics and not have their question get lost in the current version of global chat (which I know will disappear at some point).
  4. Dungeons - I personally feel like mob spawns in dungeons is too fast, and so far my experience in the dugeons has been getting into a group and sitting in a single spot while we farm mobs (I'm sure there is tuning planned for this). But I think developing some kind of dynamic system to gauge what mobs to spawn back based on what group has killed it would be helpful. For example - Group 1 enters the dungeon and kills all the mobs and is currently fighting the boss, Group 2 enters the dungeon and each player has a spawn radius around them, because Group 1 didnt kill the mobs, spawn the pack of mobs that is within the given radius of the group.

  1. Inventory desync (inventory not updating properly), I think this is a major issues since it happens quite often and it's very frustrating
  2. Commodities dissappearing in Caravans (one cause could be changing to raft in "allowed" location (blue hologram) but once placed the game decides that the water is not deep enough and therefore forcefully changes/resets it back to a caravan a few meters back, potentially resetting the commodities as well)
  3. Not gatherable resources, it's very frustrating to find a rare resource, e.g. Weeping Willow and not being able to chop it (no F action) or able to chop it but nothing happens (no materials gained, no xp and tree stays there), this amplifies the frustration around the scarcity of these resources.
  4. Looting issues where it is not possible to loot items or just partial items, restarting game fixes this, but it's very frustrating.
  5. Party/Raid related issues related to events like caravans, you currently need to leave party/raid to accept a caravan event.

  1. I want to be able to "swap" materials in my material bags only if the space allows for it, e.g. swap 5 Heroic Zinc in one bag with 15 Common Zinc in another bag, but only if the amount would fit in the same slot of the bag you are swapping to/from, so if you are swapping 5 Heroic Zinc from a Novice Mining Satchel which has stack size limit of 43, to a slot in the Sanctus Bag where there is 15 Common Zinc with stack size limit of 20, this should be fine, another example when it's not fine: When you have 25 Common Zinc in your Novice Mining Satchel (43 limit) and want to swap that with 5 Heroic Zinc in your Sanctus Bag (20 limit), this should do nothing because you can't fit the 25 Common Zinc in that 1 slot (2x2) you are trying to swap things in and should therefore not do anything. This makes inventory management a bit easier when dealing with rarity.
  2. I want to see the player levels in the guild roster interface (U) just like in the Friends list (O) in the column "Archetype", I also want to see the actual Archetype in this column instead what it shows now "Healer", "Ranged" etc.. just show "Cleric", "Bard", "Fighter" etc.
  3. Be able to link items/materials in the chat, to share the stats of.
  4. Show player name of caravan event or some kind of indication, maybe a randomized number for each event, or a color, so that it's easier to say to the group, "become attacked for caravan event ......." when there is multiple events on the screen, there is no way to tell which is which, and sometimes you want to raid only one specific.

  4. More gatherable nodes of course. We're all in a tight space and got little room to breath on the more rare items. Especially the more rare ones.
  5. When you log in, make it be at an ember spring so people can't camp items by parking their characters at spawn points unless they logged off inside of a town. Most grind zones have ember springs close by so should be no big deal.
  6. Make caravans give less rewards. The market sucks because nobody wants to go out and farm mats causing prices to be pretty bad. And he lack of special things like willow even more punishing and hunting monsters for non zerg guilds that have a life.
  7. Spread out resources like raptors across the map, and add more. Again terribly camped item. All within 100 yards of one another and no other spawns across the entire map. Hunting is already pretty bottlenecked, give them a break.
  8. Better corruption system, shouldn't go red for 1 kill when you're competing for items. After all it's a pvp game, and one which you can force flag. If you want to defend your grind zone or fight over a material node, should not result in instant red, again it's a pvp game. Please look into black deserts PvP corruption system. AOC far too punishing for the attacker and little to no punishment for the victim not defending themselves or willing to fight and compete over goods. Again, it's a pvp game. Making it so only one side is punished is pretty much killing pvp. Atleast make it so you don't drop your items you worked so hard to get but maybe drop your gold or something? The victim drops only a small portion of materials and no gold or items. It is very unblanaced.

  1. Node rarity remaining static when a specific metal/rock/gem/tree/flower is harvested in the exact same spot at a different time. The types can change which provides different rarity, but when the original one respawns it retains rarity. So If a Copper node came up Legendary, the next time I loot it in that same spot the copper will be Legendary. If a Basalt re-spawns in its place that Basalt will always be its own static rarity in that exact same spot. If it turns back into Copper then it will be Legendary again. We have mapped out many of the locations and test after every patch day to see if they still come up this way and they do time after time.

  2. Character wipes from receiving duplicated gold or duplicated items during trades. Going after the victims just feels like a double loss no? Whether or not the characters get restored now, as apparently a lot of them are now on appeal, it was a huge shot to a lot of peoples confidence that they have for the dev team. It feels like a drive by shooting a line of people got downed because they were trying to hit one person in the crowd. Probably ruined a lot of peoples days for no fault on their end.

  1. From last week still - Inventory deleted: The third storage in the items tab added a row to the items tab. However, anything I put in this line is deleted upon logging. In the same avenue, I had crated material in the cargo tab in Halcyon that was deleted also.
  2. Animal Rarity is still a HUGE bottleneck for all crafts
  3. Server lag, memory leaks and rubber-banding are big concerns still
  4. Unreachable mobs - whether they're stuck in the ground, or a tree, or like the rock golem I just saw running across the sky over the river - they are a constant thorn in the side of progress. Same goes for all the harvestables stuck under the ground.
  5. Lumber Foremen both bugged out when the Lumbermill and Carpentry stations upgraded to JM.

  6. Chat features: Currently NOTHING saves on the chat. I cannot set up a window for the features I want and have them remain if I log out.
  7. Items storage is a concern now that I've been playing for a bit longer. Currently there's nothing in game (save for expanding the rows by a bit - when they don't bug out and delete all your items) to increase your ITEMS storage. If you have any gear, recipes, map items, etc... that storage space disappears QUICK.

  • Steelboom Performance -Anecdotally, I notice hardly any groups grind here as opposed to RoS (for levels below 20), due to the performance issues that this PoI has.
  • Fixed Resource Rarity & Timers - Resource nodes have a fixed rarity, and allow people to set up timers to come back to specific resource nodes if that node produces high rarity materials.

  • Solo Progression Avenues - How are new players likely to progress if they are unable to find low level groups. This can cause the feeling of being softlocked. This issue might also become exacerbated when Rogue releases, and 50% of the low level players are all rogues.
  • Death Penalty On Tanks - With Tanks dying so often, there are long term economic implications for those who are playing Tanks. They will earn significantly less glint, and therefore gold during their playtime.

  2. Revise gathering rarity to incorporate the amount of the stat into the second roll in addition to the first. Right now, it’s a nearly useless stat.

Please have a deeper insight into freeholds. Freeholds. Freeholds can be obtained only by the rich and powerfull. Once you have it only YOU can use the buildings there this causes an insane gap between the realm and freehold owners where gatekeeping is inevitable…. Example solution:

make it so people can use freehold buildings in towns aswell but give those in town a limit use and CD and give freehold users unlimitted acces

Animal Husbandry & Hunting needs more love. Right now these 2 skills feel neglected.
we have barely any rarity when hunting
The rarity that drops on mounts is only usefull 50% of the time (as a beast of burden)
The amount of animals we can collect is basically 10 in total as a journeyman (apprentice and novice animals excluded)
The price of a husbandry animal is very expensive its like 55s for a t1 animal this causes an big advantage over those who picked husbandry and those who dont. People should not be going broke because they chose the wrong artisan system

3 Pvp ranking system <-- major feed back IMO

I think it will be good to have a pvp ranking system. A pvp ranking system will go as followed:

Rank 1 - 2 (gain 200 points)
Rank 2 - 3 (gain 400 points)
Rank 3 - 4 (gain 700 points)

If you kill people 2 lvls below/ above you you gain points (based on if they are below or above you)

If you kill someone more then 2 lvls above or below you you decrease in rank (this instantly stops low lvl killing) but with this syste, you get more organic pvp then opt in pvp like a caravan. Because right now there is no risk in running around as people do not attack randomly

4: Give us more resources plz I know we are in a testing phase but right now we cant test everything as the resources are to scarce and we need to spawn camp them for a chance at 1 item

  1. Game crashing on a daily basis and causing my computer to freeze and to require a reboot. On startup, I fall through the world, and/or Halcyon is in a deep hole which I fall through.
  2. When walking in the world, I rubberband and have to walk backwards a few steps in order to continue walking forward.
  3. When transferring items form my bag to storage, the item is added to storage but is still showing in my bag.

Alpha Two Phase II Feedback

Top 3-5 Most Important Bugs:
1)Caravan Bugs and issues. Healers able to heal defenders without joining to be attackable. Joining attacker on one, defender on another for multiple caravan events can make you unattackable to some while you can still attack them, etc.
2)Mage talent "aftershock" doesn't reliably work. Apply staggered with firebolt, immediately chain lightning, does not double hit.
3)Looting/Inventory bugs. Have to relog to see items in inventory or loot corpses sometimes.

Top 3-5 Most Important Feedback Topics:
1)Time to Kill is still too fast. Offensive stats scale better than defensive stats leading to an ever shortening time to kill. The nerf to legendary gear helped some (more maybe required), but now you need to look at how offensive stats scale vs. defensive stats. Another way to approach it would be to have a PVP-only damage modifier, so abilities only do say 80% damage in PVP instead of 100%. Then it makes it easier to balance PVP without impacting PVE balance.
2)There needs to be more open world PVP activities. Once level 25, there's not much "end game" other than chasing gear score. We need more frequent pvp activites. More open world pvp objectives/events. Hourly/Daily/Weekly activities. NOT INSTANCED BATTLEGROUNDS OR ARENAS. Open World PVP activities.
3)Corruption system is too harsh. Limit gear loss to 1 piece per death. Killing mounts should be a lesser penalty than instantly red. Killing players of equal or higher level shouldn't be instant red (maybe 2 kills instead of just 1).

    1. Caravans are currently highly unattractive to operate. The high-risk/high-reward principle is only present on one side. Attackers face no risk compared to the high rewards they can gain. Meanwhile, defenders must invest Glint, silver, and significant time—none of which attackers are required to contribute, yet they still reap the full reward. Introducing scrolls, preparatory measures, or even cooldowns would make the system more balanced and encourage thoughtful decision-making about whether engaging in a caravan raid is truly worth it
    1. Need more punishment for looting corpses or flagged PvP, going purple for a few seconds isn't enough. Du can deactivate PvP during the fight. That isn't acceptable for some reason
    1. The current disparity between farmed gear and crafted gear is minimal. At present, players can essentially craft the same armor as farmed gear, just at a higher quality tier.   1. Karma system may need a redo. Atm karma system is a black or white system, I would suggest to make it a progressive system where you start gaining negative karma until you reach a certain treshhold for the big penalties. TLDR a system like the archeage one. Why? you may ask. It would solve to major issues at my point of view. First of all atm fighting for the spot consist in dragging mob and/or sleep healer, you can answer that agression by killing the purple guy, however atm the group of people are standing next to the purple so you kill them and go red, so basically fighting for a grinding spot is a completely mess. It would also solve the caravan issue (see next feedback).

  2. Attacking caravans is too much free atm, you have nothing to lose and all to win. I would remove the event system and just make it a normal pk. Atm that is impossible as pk system is too much strict, however, with the system I suggested in feedback 1 would be possible a progressive one.

  3. Exploiters need to be banned more frequently and more info about them need to be shared. I know it's impossible to share exact names, however, it would be good to know from which server where the bans/wipes. Also they need to be punished faster, I can't say names here, however theres a well known guild in EU that do a well ammount of exploits and still need to be banned, there are even videos of them killing the firebrand bugged in the trees. This seems like something of lesser importance, however, a good image against the exploiters is needed to sustain a good PR with the general public and the health of a saturated server.

  4. Increase the CD for joining a guild (maybe a week starting the moment you join the guild). Atm people in red just get kill by they guild mates to loot their gear and then join back after the 24h CD.

  1. Prime Time feels barely playable because the rarity of things is too insane rewarding everyone else who can choose when to play. Named are still too crowded while ressources are always gone. Dynamic changes when areas are more crowded would be increase the joy during prime time.
  2. Hunting materials, cocoons and such are way too limited especially during prime time causing big campings ruining your experience in the process as it is all about who gets the first hit. The
  3. Hunting creatures of some kinds are way too rare like Plumed Haleberder or not even existing besides being a named drop like Protector's Pride. Journeyman hunting is barely existing and way too contested.
  4. The fact that you cannot spawn some monsters as huntable like you can for novice hunting feels bad and would fix so much like for example for otters.
  5. In PvP damage is way too high for the defence values of the armours to make a battle even a battle and not a oneshot viesta. Introducing PvP damage multipliers that reduce the damage would be a solution for that.

  1. Recipe: Beambender's BBQ Birds is bugged and does not show up in the cooking recipes after you learn the recipe. I am level 50 cooking and cannot make this recipe, because when I learned it the yellow icon showed up but the recipe does not appear in the known recipes. I imagine there are other recipes from crafts that are also bugging out but this one is specific to cooking, and the food would greatly increase carpentry rarity.

  2. After sending large craft orders of 100-250 to my inventory I am no longer able to right click the item to store it quickly in storage. This happens almost every time I acquire a large stack from crafting and the mounting dismounting quick fix does not correct the issue. Relogging does correct this issue but I know for power leveling and large craft orders this is a huge slow down to storage.

  3. Action combat mode bug where ranged weapon is stuck firing but not actually shooting projectiles. This appears to happen when switching between weapons for fighter, but most notably when you are using a range weapon to start, and then begin to use your skills. The game will naturally swap to your main hand weapon and when you hold down attack for action combat mode you will keep swinging with the main hand. However if you stop, there are times when the game switches back to range weapon as if it has stored the ranged weapon in a equipped cache to keep it out which then causes the bug of not being able to fire or swing your weapon. Holding block in action combat mode while pressing switch weapon fixes this bug and allows you to attack and switch weapons properly.

  1. Keep up the amazing work in communication and transparency of your road map. So far this has been the best showing of a game studio that I have been apart of a road map for, and the community is showing its support so thank you.

  2. Perhaps add some more options for bug reporting, or allow us to be more granular with designation. Sometimes I have trouble deciding which section to put a specific bug in and I would like to be able to help declutter the bug reports with proper tagging.

  3. Maybe add some way for us to check in on our crafting. I am usually pretty good about tracking my 4hr large crafts, but the mix of values between 10-100 means I am probably hanging around the node to keep processing. Perhaps a page that shows what crafts are processing and completed in the nodes would be a really nice quality of life upgrade for people like me that craft mostly at one node but spread out smaller amounts to other nodes. That way we don’t lose track of where items are completed and have stuff that is forgotten or not picked up till days later.

  2. Flying mount presents way too much of a power imbalance. This allows a skilled player to massively increase any power gap between themselves and a competing group. One thing that could replace a flying mount for governor would be a "hero buff" that made them a bit more powerful AND made them say 20% larger so they stood out. This buff could be used during pvp events like node wars and guild wars and be limited to pvp encounters.

  1. Gathering should ALWAYS be a random roll on rarity. If you want to buff up the odds on rarity in dangerous areas or something like that, then great.
  2. Resource spawning shouldn't be predictable. There should be a large variable spawn time for each node so a few people can't monopolize without pvp. IF you are insistent on having nodes that are always legendary, than these MUST be more random. So many times I see people standing by a node spawn because they know a epic or legendary will spawn there at an exact time.
  3. I get punishing death. But currently you are punished with time loss, XP dept, items perma deleted, glint deleted, and glint and items lootable. I understand most of that and think dropping half your loot makes sense, but nothing should be deleted IMO, at least not items. It's just too much.
  4. Processing item should have the exact system as crafting. Using varying rarities of materials should net the average result. Procuring a legendary animal fat is nearly impossible as of now, as I've never seen anything higher than rare hunted animals and am almost journeyman hunting.
  5. This is a social MMO but we don't have the basic chat functions that make communicating with other players fluid. Please prioritize Guild functions and chat functions. Being able to whisper easily by clicking on their name and respond easily would be amazing. Being able to have a larger number in our guild would be awesome as well.

  1. When a target is frozen and staggered, hitting them with chain lightning will only proc shattered and not shattered and aftershock.
  2. Repeatedly freezing targets, they will begin to move through the freeze on the 3rd time even though they still have "frozen" status effect. Makes it hard to fight alone.
  3. Grems having a ranged bite that can take half your hp from like bow ranges.

  1. Absolutely hate caravan targetting change. Thought it was intended that you cant target the rider, and so you need to take down the caravan to take them down. Makes no sense that under attack your caravan slows down when they can just kill you off it to make it stop much easier. Where is the love for small groups and solos?

  3. New Aela's tower (near mountains bottom right) has chests that spawn and give XP, no one fights the mobs at the tower (I used to when they were 17+), people just sit there and farm the chests for xp and free money. Take the XP away so they stop. Please bring the level back of tower mobs to level they were in alpha 2 phase 1.

Why even have this feature... its so immersion breaking.. it feels bad.. its not realistic.. its not logical.. a level 12 in good lvl 10 gear can solo farm a MASSIVE amount of kills per hour more than a level 25 solo of mobs around their own level... but the 25 cant go back and farm lower level things that are easier to kill.. instead, the 25 is punished.... This incentivizes twinks who stack 100% exp debt to keep themselves in level range to farm more T1 and T2 materials than higher level players..... this is very VERY bad game design.. **

  2. Gatherable Resource Spawns..... Its a Cataclysmic mistake to have static locations and timers. People have this cracked already with where to go and when.. Apparently also Legendary nodes that give Legendary resources for a period of time... Why is this even a system.... NEED randomized locations, randomized timers.

  3. Solo Experience. Some classes can solo pull many mobs and be fine, while others like Rangers and Mages have no self sustain. its annoying seeing a Fighter or Tank face pull 3-6 1 star mobs and kill them while a Ranger or Mage may only be able to pull 1-2 of those same mobs and hope for the best with zero self heals...

  4. Quests feel like 1998 garbage. sorry, just how it feels. They also need real exp rewards... Node commissions should also pack a MAJOR punch with rewards to HEAVILY incentivize people into doing them.

  5. Guilds Features.... We want them.. we need them... Guild Storage, Many custom ranks with privileges

  1. Bard Weaving is broken. In phase 1 A2, you could weave melodies. Since start of phase 2 A2 it has been broken. Now, when you weave you get less and less time on your melody. Before you could keep 2 up constantly and do a 3rd or 4th for a few seconds, as party requires. Now you cannot even keep 2 melodies up. Considering how it works with resonant weapon, it is completely broken. You need time to have the second melopdy up, long enough to proc a Resonant weapon, then siwtch back to the other melody. There is no reason to spec weaving atm. I have noticed what seems to be a rounding error of some sort. The up tics are not enough to cancel the down tics. Therefore, even if you start with full time one one melody, by the time you switch back and forth 4-5 times, you are down to 0 seconds on both melodies. (I already reported it, but I assume very few bards in phase 1 actually weaved melodies)

  2. Need for PvP. Right now, pvp seems like griefing. (at least on Vyra). Pvp should be something desirable. You can be a defensive mercenary guild if you dont want to instigate PvP. These systems, and caravan systems in general, need to be enhanced greatly. sure its an alpha, but you asked 🙂
  3. Dynamic Gathering Locations. As long as a bot can gather items, gathering will be broken. You need thousands of gathering locations, and RNG which of those nodes pops a gatherable. For example, 90% or greater of the nodes should have nothing pop. This means a bot will require 10x as much work as a human, if it just goes to all the nodes. A human, can search an "area", like a cave or seashore, riverbank (like Steven said in the Pirate video). For example, if you gather copper ore, there should NOT be a cooldown at that node. But rather an RNG that first predicts the time, then an RNG that predicts chance to spawn, then an RNG that predicts type of gatherable.

  1. Inventory bug seems no longer as ubiquitous, but still present in high-load server workers. Usually the "Sanctus Bag" slot is the culprit.
  2. Under-map players seem more common since the return (Jan 16th?). Not sure if they know they are appearing under the map with their heads popping through the ground.
  3. Stuck mobs; and resources can - rarely - end up not being harvestable - this can be annoying, but only just.

You can always spawn the buildings that are currently there at node level attainment. Stick to your guns!! And your planned testing cycle (six weeks).
  3. Don't be afraid to reset nodes for testing and and spawn/respawn buildings as needed for testing.
  4. If one Q-O-L needs to happen it is Marketplace search imho as this enables a fuller picture on resource availability and related data points.

  1. Mob glitching: Mobs can sometimes become stuck in place, continuesly healing to full without getting aggro on you. I noticed that a lot of the time mobs can become invisible for some players and not to others, but they can still attack the players that can't see them. Or sometimes Mobs cannot even get attacked, when you try to use spells on them, the spells will stop mid cast and attacks don't work.
  2. Map glitching: in many places especially when climbing, you can accidentally glitch into the map, Although it isn't very frequent it still happens sometimes.
  3. Some plants don't disappear after you harvest them, they are still there and it gives you the prompt to harvest them, although when you try it just starts the animation and instantly cancels it.
  4. Named Mobs not spawning, I have no idea what it is with the named mobs but sometimes they spawn every 5 minutes and the next day they're nowhere to be seen, not at night or at day.

There is a list of bugs associated with caravans...and everyone is making it one of their top feedback items. For many of us, this is what funds our ability to test out the other aspects of the game...

1 - Dead body timers. I believe the timer isn't long enough. As a solo, it forces one to be very reckless in trying to retrieve loot because of the fear of it disappearing. This often results in compound losses as a consequence of taking a poor route or trying to do a drive-by run. You can break the rarity into tiers ( novice rarity, apprentice rarity, etc) to prevent mass flooding the market with legendary/epic T1 mats and will add value to low tier outfits and keep them viable.
  3. Please add more hunting, willow, and braidwood spawns.
  4. Please consider adding VS player modifiers to spells/abilities as to not unbalance PvE when making adjustments for PvP. Currently PvP TTK seems like its unanimously reported as being way too fast, however PvE encounters feel pretty decent.

1: Caravan Flagging and performance bugs: If a group is a defender of two or more caravans and the attacking party chooses defender on one caravan and attacker on the other it can causes issues, namely that the defenders may not be able to attack them allowing the attackers to attack without reciprocation and or allow the attackers to destroy a caravan while the defenders cannot attack them. Needs a hot fix ASAP imo
2: Inventory Issues not properly displaying the correct mats and transfers.
3: Weapon Skill Line Bugs, finishers not proccing effects such as longbows Bull’s Eye for example.

1: Corruption: From corruption baiting to accidentally killing someone the corruption system needs a lot more TLC
2: General Performance, especially when you are running 4+ caravans or 20+ people PvP'ing at the same time caravans it becomes incredibly laggy and glitchy.
3: Healers able to heal those in a caravan event while being outside of it and not flagging for doing so, this is an exploit which is currently being abused quite often.
4: Fighter and Melee in AoC is very risky and not very rewarding, in PvE Clerics and supports don’t like fighters because they steal heals from the tank and are in harm’s way allot, in addition to that they generally don’t do the same amount of dmg as their ranged counterparts. This extends to group PvP where fighters are largely useless outside of small encounters. Less dmg and more risk with little to no reward for danger required to add any actual value in large scale PvP, I know balance is not based around 1v1 but in largescale PvE and PvP Fighters are more of a liability than an asset outside of very specific niche scenarios ranged dmg is king and melee is dooky in PvP right now.
5: Rarity of Hunting Gear is terribly low, I am lvl 30+ hunting with an Epic hunting bow and 3 hunting bags yet I have only ever gotten 1 epic and 2 heroic carcasses, I have hunted literally thousands of animals in phase 2. This just feels bad so much effort for so little high rarity carcasses. I believe this needs a bit of adjustment/rework.

Need to balance rarity of T1 resources like spider silk, bear carcass, wolf carcass. There need to be more Willow trees … not a massive amount.. just maybe double or triple. Makes getting middle tier leatherworking sets overly difficult and basically obsolete
3.) Continued lighting issues, flashbangs, particularly in Forge but have lighting issues throughout the world.
4.) MONSTER AI: As far as I can tell trained mobs still lose agro and then attack randoms vs going back to reset. I see lots of higher level players training mobs to kill lower levels and other toxic behavior.
5.) Decorum: Things are improving but I still see lots of toxic behavior .. needs to be an easier way to report abusive and toxic players in chat. Also there needs to be a separate system for WTB/WTS chats and Looking for grp… looking for X Class chat and a better way to report abusive behavior.

  1. Caravans despawning and then teleporting you across the map.
  2. Moving Inventory breaks sometimes and you have to do it all manually, mounting and dismounting so that you can see changes in the inventory.
    3.Not being able to loot sometimes during combat unless you mount up and dismount. Make summoning mounts in combat possible so we can pick up our glint.
    4.Crazy issues with chains of restraint. Sometimes it stuns before I see the animation.

    1.Crafting needs to get its first iteration and if you are going to reset professions when you do iterate you need to let us know now. There isnt a reason to craft lvl 10 items.
  3. All of the trees around the nodes being halfway in the ground is not a good look for anybody watching the streams of others. This wasnt like this in Phase 1.
  4. The way you contribute to nodes is currently very annoying. For instance I fish all day during work and have lots of fish but I have to find copper or zinc to combine with it in order to create an order. Nobody wants to trade fish for metal at any rate. 50 fish for 1 copper still is not an attractive offer. Create more thoughtful city orders.

  1. Hunting Rarity - I believe the chance of getting higher rarity hunting resources in general are extremely low compared to other resources. Combine this with the fact that you can't even get the resource you need like an animal or a carcass and limited spawn points for animals like raptors/gryphons just makes it almost impossible to get the resources we need.
    My suggestion is atleast give us the ability to butcher an animal for it's carcass at the tanning station or something.
  2. Give characters protection upon logging in for a few seconds. As of right now with the amount of DCs happening, there are times when we would relog after a DC in the middle of mobs and die by the time we load in.
  3. Need some descriptions on windows for different processes. For example, I tried enchanting earlier and wasn't sure why I couldn't enchant my weapon and had to realize after a while that I my weapon was lvl 20 and it was only an apprentice level enchant scroll. It would be nice to have some basic info on processes on their respective windows.

  1. Chat blocks not working- can't always block people, even if people are making super obscene "red light" comments, straight up rpey threats, racism, etc, not being able to block people is awful in an mmo. Many of us deal with harassment irl, and don't want to deal with nasty people in-game too.
  2. Inventory bugs- these bugs are frequent, they can cause deletion of items, they can cause all sorts of issues, and for some of us, they can force us to constantly log in and out. It's exceptionally frustrating and it's been months since they were first reported.
  3. Rarity bugs- whether rarity is bugged or disabled, or not working properly, it's so frustrating to have hunting mobs be so difficult to get better rarity on. Same for various types of wood. With how limiting the freehold system is, if you guys do not plan on letting at least half of us have freeholds, it's not very fun for us to be fighting over a small number of spawns, have a low rate of good rarity, and not have access to freeholds.

Feedback:

  1. Please consider expanding your freehold system. The cost of maintaining them should be high enough that a lot of casual players will already be locked out of them. But having so few people be able to participate in such a fun part of the game is just really unrewarding compared to other mmos. It makes sense to have incredibly limited guild halls and freeholds for guilds, but for a small family system that is limited per account, it would be a lot more fun and be something to really strive for, and it would make freeholds accessible to small groups of casual players to farm hard for when casuals will otherwise be completely restricted from this aspect of the game.
  2. Let block and friendslists carry to all characters on a server.
  3. Let us have the option to only hide names of blocked characters, rather than all characters please. 🙂 I don't wanna see sexually explicit names that I block, but I wanna see other peoples names.

    A basic trade of items or gold will use an item exchange contract. You specify the item you wish to sell or buy and the price you wish to pay or receive.

I will pay: The money you give to the player who accepts your contract.
I will get: The money the player has to give you when accepting the contract.
Expiration: The number of days the contract should be available.
Also request items from buyer: Choose items you want to get from the player who accepts your contract. (taken from Eve onlines description of contracts)
Additionally Being able to create a contract with materials in the contract with specific instructions on what you want processed and what reward you will provide once completed. 1: PvP system:

I get that we want a PvP oriented game. I am 101% supporting this! But right now we do not have a real pvp MMO. How come?

People do not just randomly start pvping. The reason: no benefit. My advice make the system into points:

Gain 200 points in pvp and you gain a rank/ grey resource of your apprentice skill/ whatever intrepid decides. To get points you need to kill people 2lvls below or above you. If you gank, grief, kill people 3 or more lvls above or below you you get a decrease in points (this too stop low lvl ganking etc). I know many people think this will leave openings for griefs but that happens anyway so why not work on it do we atleast have organic pvp…. Right now I can run out of halcyon to miraleth without any pvp in a “heavy pvp oriented game”

2: resources are too scarce..: we get that you want conflict over resources. But it just isnt happening. Atleast in EU there are no brawls over dandelions or blue bells. We just have players spawn camping items (weeping willows, raptors, turtles, bluebells,copper, rare or epic only trees). In an MMO atleast everyone should have a fair chance. And not only the masses that camp 24/7.

3: husbandry is too punishing…
T1 55S default t2 1 g 56S default for a mount or a beast of burden “chance” of which the odds are bugged is just not right. I have leveld husbandry on 5 different characters and all of which hit 15+ and it feels nothing short a punishment rather than a fun artisan. Especially when you see your friends lvl their artisans with ease to lvl 20 when you’re slacking to get to 10 or 14

  3. Not being able to mix rarities of resources in proccesing feels terrible. Not being able to craft multiple items during leveling feels bad.
  4. Inflation feels bad. There should be some more gold sink, maybe new items to buy with gold.
  5. Item saturation feels bad. All items should be destructible/decaying in some way.

  1. FULL Action Bar swapping/switching : The action bar for skills and consumables right now is kind of too static and lacks flexibility. This will have tons of constraints in terms of competitive combat since with the current design of it with only simple key binding, we will surely not be able to access all those key binds with our fingers. A Full Action Bar Swap will be a God send. As you can see in the picture i attached, there are three Full Action Bars named Action Bars 1, 2 and 3. This Action Bars should be able to be swapped by assigning a Key Bind on that specific Action Bar. All key bindings per slot shall remain, only the skills and consumables on the entire row will be switched/swapped.

  1. Overall damage on all classes with gear is too high, killing people in 2 hits is not fun gameplay, has low to no skill expression. Time to kill needs to be increased.
  2. Itemization in its current state makes most items useless. Enchanting gives +1 to every stat on the item which makes items with multiple main stats way more valuable than items with secondary stats. The increase in offensive stats from items heavily outscales the defensive stats.
  3. Tanks have no place in the game after leveling. Lack of defensive stats on items makes them not that hard to kill. Not having a tank in an 8v8 fight is more often beneficial than not since a lot of classes do way more when they get their weapon procs after completing combos, which is easier to do on a tank standing in front and then swap the big damage on squishies. Tanks cant farm anything solo and 8 man group farming is not rewarding enough to justify the time investment (u don't get more glint/dungeon items are useless since you cant enchant lvl20 items and crafted gear is better).

  1. What's will be the viability of a small guild in Ashes? It seems everything is built for massive player groups. How many players can a guild user to attack a castle? Can anyone attack a castle? What's the maxium number of players that can attack a castle? Do all the attacking players need to be in the attacking? Do all the defenders need to be in the defending guild?
  2. What will be done to balance the power in open world pvp between the MEGA groups vs the smaller guilds? There is nothing preventing a MEGA group of players from forming 20 guilds and picking all the passive perks. This would give them a massive advantage to open/over world pvp.
  3. Why isn't there a REPUTATION system with the nodes? Players that kill citizens or raid caravans of a specific node should become hostel to that node and guards of that node should attack them on sight.
  4. Why are we grinding to test? Boost the exp and materials so we can actually test stuff. What actual value do you get from this style of test? You're losing a lot of testers from this.

  1. Overhaul the entire Crafting system and progression in conjunction with adventure leveling. Novice gathering, crafting, and processing becomes useless extremely fast, and becomes even more useless as node levels up. Novice crafting items, to level up, must be crafted within bulk, for you to sell them pennies on the dollar. Legendary mats at novice barely have purpose too. Example, (A +9 enchanted Legendary Ruby necklace is barely on par with a non-enchanted Heroic Bronze Necklace in terms of stats). The ratio of time and money is off in this regard, and makes it even more useless that by the time you find all the legendary materials to craft a legendary novice item, everyone is past level 10 and is wanting apprentice. Not to also mention it takes 11 silver or so to craft bare basic common apprentice items, and most people believe 11-12 silver for a common apprentice is too expensive because a lot of the innate recipes you receive on level have atrocious stats that no one cares about. I wouldn't even mind, capping the adventure level based on node progression as well.

  2. Make Caravans have something to do with the actual development of the map
    The caravans are essentially ONLY a money machine to use your glint on. It's a rinse, wash, repeat mechanic that is being used by individuals in large groups to......profit? individually? as a group? Kinda doesn't make sense. It would be better to have caravans be something towards Node development, node tickets, and pay a little money for doing it. But it feels more world-building to have it be needed for the map, not just yourself in a rinse, wash, repeat induvial money making mechanic. you can easily add other money making mechanics that are more engaging, and make defending and attacking caravans worth something as well.

  3. **Quality of life, Quality of life, Quality of Life **

A way to ping for party, An organize or deposite all into your storage button, Glint auto-combining in your inventory, a job buttong for more than 1 crafting job. All of these are needed.

  1. Importance is subjective. However, as a Dunir cleric (after speaking to other Dunir) we are unable to critically heal at all. We can crit with damage spells/weaps, but not with heals. It appears other races are able to critically heal. This has been bug reported since the beginning of this phase. Before the wipe (non-Dunir) we had critical heals.
  2. Crafting complaints are universal and this comes down to resource management/rarity/hoarding due to respawn camping and the same materials being required amongst multiple crafts + node resources requiring the same. This might be something where adding a "break down" skill to metalcrafting or stonemasonry etc might allow you to pull materials from more common mats.

  1. (Mount) Desyncs and rubberbanding. If you get desynced on a mount while mobs are chasing you, you are toast.
  2. Mobs spawning in walls, or bugging into walls during combat and then damaging you through terrain and randomly leashing.
  3. Bugged quests. It's difficult to know whether a quest is vague, broken, or a combination of both. Some quest kills don't count while being in a party and it's hard to tell when it's intentional and when not.

  4. Every low level boss that drops something useful is being farmed by level 25 characters. It feels like a design failure when multiple "max" level characters are waiting for a 60 minute lowbie boss spawn. Maybe limit boss drops to a reasonable level range?
  5. Currently many quests are vague in a way that it pushes the player to just wiki everything. For example, "The Glyphs" wants the player to find "someone who can interpret" a quest item. While it's okay not to give the player a direct map marker to talk to the right NPC, currently the player has no other option than to just talk to every scholarly looking npc in the game, until one of them acknowledges the situation. This would be okay if there were multiple "correct" NPCs, or the player could ask around for the right person through dialogue. But right now the NPCs feel unconnected quest vending machines.
  6. After many hours of gathering, I don't like the undirected nature of gathering professions. For grinding items/xp/gold, I can target a certain area or mob and work towards achieving my goal while actively playing the game. For gathering I am just running around the world checking when the nodes have respawned and I don't feel like I am playing the game. I'd like more static resource farming areas (with danger), or for moving around the world to be more engaging.

  1. Crafting rate of progression vs gathering and processing. Most Crafting seems way too slow compared to gathering and processing. Think level 5 in scribing (using XP boosters) and then being level 14 in alchemy (not purposefully using XP boosters), and only making alchemy items for scribe leveling. Not only does it take a lot longer, but it is too slow to keep pace with adventuring levels, making everything you create (which is a lot) pointless until people hit level cap and you catch up. Adjusting this down may also help with complaints for lack of resources.

  2. UI Improvements - primarily party/raid/Target/player frame customization for now. Being able to set party/raid to a horizontal layout, adjust sizes/visibility of buffs/debuffs, and being able to choose between party/raid frames. As a healer UI is massively important, especially being able to monitor health bars and still see what is going on around me.

  3. Death & Permanent Material Loss - I love death being meaningful, and I think you get that now with XP loss, repair costs, and the chance someone loots your corpse. However, I think the permanent loss of materials on death is too much, especially for a buggy alpha where a bugged out 3 star level 25 mob that one shots people can literally be just outside a town.

Some more meaningful quests would be very nice some quests that reward like 50-150k exp to complete even if it were just grind quests or maybe visit every node for 50k simple things but that offer meaningful xp so that we aren't forced to stand in a corner in carphin for 22 hours to get from 19-25 would be cool. It doesn't need to be as efficient but just being possible would be great.

  4. Bears dont drop Bear Carcass' enough. When wearing Hunting Gear and Rarity increase chance up, bear mount items spawn more often. I need to be able to find a recipe to convert Bear mount items and Wolf mount items into carcass'. Also out of all the gathering professions hunting is the hardest to get higher quality items. Yes, the return value is good when you process 1 carcass into 5 skins, but i still only get a rare or heroic grem skin every blue moon.
  5. Willow Trees...unfindable, and camped respawns. How can I progress into leatherworking/tanning if I can't make Willow Woodchips. ALSO, 1 willow log to 1 willow chip is a terrible ratio. It should be 1 log into 5 chips. Sure Freeholds can grow more willow, but if they are selling willow for high I still can't buy and acquire it. I can't get my own freehold because all of them are already purchased and owners can be evicted. I see so many empty freeholds not growing anything, its annoying because I would gladly grow willow after willow.
  6. I hate how during node wars the enemy can enter the village and the guards do literally nothing. I could be in a building and still be unsafe. I think when instanced apartment housing is active this could solve the unsafe villages during node wars. So maybe prepare instance player housing next. Even if we can't place anything, it would be nice to have a place to safely afk.

2. Named NPCs for quests not spawning at all, or spawning incredibly rarely. Example: I've not even seen Captain Bloodbane spawn in Phase 2 at all.
3. Quests that can't be resolved. I've reported a growing number than won't complete, point to the wrong place, or the NPC/Object won't trigger.
4. Mobs getting stuck in strange locations, becoming unresponsive, and unkillable. Which seems to prevent them from spawning where they should be, and occasionally it turns out the creature standing far from home is actually still mobile and hostile and you die.
5. Chat filter settings and new tabs still don't save.

1. Don't go after the hardest working and well-regarded animal husbandry trainers and sellers if someone else made a purchase from them with bad money. Or at least take a softer approach than wiping characters.
2. Taking down sellers that would have no idea how the coin from others was earned is already having people avoiding doing any trading for fear of having their characters wiped.
3. As it is, we're looking at issues of people specifically trying to get and trade bad money to some people just to attempt to get their target's character or account taken down. We need to avoid this possibility.
4. Unrelated to those concerns, a lot of commission board quests still seem to favor the southeast quarter of the Riverlands, in turn driving experience gains to Zones of Interest covering that area.
5. If we could get more of the world chat channels indicated in filters up, that could help improve the quality of the in-game chat.

  5. Rarity on carcasses - The rarity drops on carcasses just doesn't seem at all comparable to other gathering systems. This has massive downstream affects as the artisans who need these materials are starved unfairly. Some artisans have an easier time getting their materials causing the class power to skew in favor of those classes which can get heroic+ gear. Medium armor for example is simply impossible to gear up.
  6. Defending caravans could use some more rewards, especially for those outside of the direct benefit (random people coming to defend).

  2. Ambient Audio bugs - When going near dungeons the ambient audio plays endlessly. I have to relog anytime I move near a POI. There is no slider to turn it off. This 30 second ambient audio loop isn't just annoying, it makes the game unplayable until I relog.
  3. Node Buffs Expiring on Server Restart - Commissions are hardly active because of this.
  4. Hunting Rarity is All Common - Legendary Hunting drops is so low it's destroying crafting of certain types

  1. Artisan Material Rebalancing - Right now Herbalism is the least useful of all gathering skills. It can nearly be replaced by farming. Tailoring requires just as much Lumberjacking and Carpentry as it requires Herbalism and Weaving which is completely unrealistic and limits the ability to specialize. It's far more profitable to just lumberjack and cut endless Weeping Willow than anything else. The same is true for Alchemy. Mining is more important for Scribing and Alchemy than Herbalism is.
  2. Artisan & Node Rebalancing - Currently in the game Combat grinding, Mining, and Lumberjacking is just hands down the most profitable way to spend your time. Due to the extent of this imbalance, if you want to compete in GvG or NvN combat you need either large wealth or spend lots of time gear grinding.
  3. General Economy rebalancing - Right now almost everything in the game is going to be limited by Willow or Braid wood.

  4. Static rarity on resource nodes is just bad for so many reasons. Either make everything common and buff player rarity to be significantly more effective or do a roll before the player rarity calculations to determine the resource nodes rarity.
  5. Just far too many bottlenecks. The ability to get certain resources (i.e. copper/willows) should never be the biggest bottleneck - the rarity of the resources should be.
  6. Player defensive stats are not strong enough in general but especially for tanks - the only thing tanks feel like they are good at is their ability to get threat, their damage reduction/hp/sustain is simply not good enough by default. They are only viable in groups because they really aren't that much more tanky than any other class with the same gear on - but also do less damage. If this is just a low level scaling issue I would buff the ward value on vengeance to give a larger flat amount.
  7. Some mobs at low levels just do way too much damage compared to others. You can fight zombies that hit for 50s and then get hit like 500 against some other monster of a certain level.
  8. The accessibility of gathering tools needs to be reconsidered - not meaning the difficulty of obtaining resources to craft them but the ability to craft them in general.

  3. Loot in group play occasionally freezes. Frequent relogging is frustrating, as the group display often bugs out and needs to be switched between raid and group modes repeatedly.
  4. Quality rolls should occur with every new spawn. Farming specific spots on a timer feels tedious and unengaging.

  1. TTK is too short: Especially PvP, this makes fights less meaningful and heavily favors ranged classes.
  2. Skill trees have no choices at max level: Because there are not enough nodes in the skill tree relative to the amount of skill points we get, each archetype has only a single build at max level. Adding more nodes, and deeper branches could lead to meaningful choices both on max level and lower.
  3. Non-combat mobs bloat: Having to deal with the hunting-only, non-combat mobs feels like a struggle for both the content devs and players. Implementing a basic hunting mechanic that can interface with normal mobs, and removing these would be an easy win IMO, even if said mechanic is still very far from the final one.

Sorry 1-4 are in one rant. Artisan Material Rebalancing - Right now Herbalism is the least useful of all gathering skills. It can nearly be replaced by farming. Tailoring requires just as much Lumberjacking and Carpentry as it requires Herbalism and Weaving which is completely unrealistic and limits the ability to specialize. For example Apprentice Tailor's Skivvies you need apprentice in all of the following herbalism (2 piece), lumbering (3 pieces), tanning(1 piece), hunting (1 piece), metalwork (1 piece) and mining (1 piece) all to make 1 item in tailoring. When looking at journeyman level its the same so impossible to do unless buying item from AH at impossible price or be in good guild. At the moment I can see only Chop wood/mine and kill things it the only thing worth doing in game. Yes AH price may stabilise but that is years down the road and sensible supply and demand as it is present its so one sided as I have yet to see weeping willow and only completed 2 hunt for copper quest. I want to test crafting but lost the will to play currently.
5) Miss balancing of gathering materials in the wild and quests are miss-balanced 4 wood quests 4 mining quests, 3 for fishing (why take the fish away when they could be used for cooking), 2 herbalism quests, none for hunting 3. The bonus exp for lvl gathering from quest is useful from misbalanced.

  1. After last night there is only 1 bug I want fixed. Its the flagging system. our guild had a raid in Steelbloom, sharing the sewer spawn with another guild group. Somehow, I flagged and got killed. I presume it was heal flagging. Since if you heal a nongrouped memeber you can get flagged. Welp, they saw I was flagged and killed me. (no looting so no corruption). But my guild cannot respond, or risk getting corrupted. I checked my pvp settings, and they were the same as the other two bards. I had this happen with a cleric ealier while I was soloing in the desert. I grabbed 2 L25 1 star mobs, and was low health. He healed me out of kindness, and he became flagged. My next AoE, hit both him and his horse. Neither one of us wanted to hit, or flag the other person.

This game is going to be incredible! Amped to be a part of it from these early days.

Bugs: First entry is the Shield Vanishing. Graphic bug.

Second is the Frozen and Gliding Mounts. Graphic bug.

Lastly, Inventory delay and un-lootable mobs, and resource nodes remaining on the board.

Suggestions: Naming Conventions. Limit brands, initials and non-name names. "MuthaFrackerXPROcleric" drains the RP from a MMORPG instantly. Hoping Darwin wins out here, and just no one invites a player named IIIIIlliiiillllliiII11, but a policy would be great insurance the game remains within the vision advertised early on.

Some Global Chat changes. It gets really bad and distracting at times. Similar to above. Perhaps an LFG channel and a Buy channel could cover public messages? At present the Chat Channel Filters are not working consistently enough to replace Global.

A less predictable (gameable, camp-able) gathering system for resources. Folks with jobs deserve copper and willow too!

I would like to first start by saying GREAT JOB! On this project so far, this Alpha II test is far more playable in mechanics and stability than many of the launched mmo's I have played (im 45 years old so this is too numerous to list here). I have been waiting for this game my whole life. That said I will try to do my part and help polish this project and realize the dreams of the people who are invested in this project the best I can.

BUGS that bother me most

  1. Shield – disappears constantly for seemingly multiple reasons
  2. Reflect - does not proc half the time, does not work with auto-attack on, will not reflect if hit half way through its full duration. The skill seems cancelled by anything else you do block, turn, breath, attack.
  3. Target/mouse modes – transitioning from target to mouse modes is buggy and unclear, I think it is supposed to switch to mouse mode when a window pops up and it does sometimes but closing the window does not prompt it back into the chosen target mode, and also is hard to get into target mode, you have to play with it and your directional controls to kick it in. The chat also takes over everything, if I unknowingly get stuck in chat it will do this “eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee” (I map my keyboard that is my chosen forward button, then get my cursor back at all I have to run a backspace and hit enter, maybe allow esc to cancel all that and get back to the chosen default cursor mode?

Things I would be amazing to me to see in game:

  1. Mules: Many games have pets that run around with the player these pets serve a purpose only in the cosmetic and entertainment sense, I think Ashes could take it a step further and increase the realism factor in gathering by adding Mules simultaneously lessening the ability to carry an entire forest and mountain on our backs. The mule could also be vulnerable like a horse and lootable. They would follow us around and carry the heavy wood and stone that we collect, and we would have to protect it, if it dies their would be a lootable corpse on the ground for a time.
  2. Honour Buff: I think we can all agree that it is dishonourable to attack someone significantly lower level, but being dishonourable is also a freedom of choice. The penalty for for attacking someone lower level then you should be in the form of both a buff and debuff for the duration of the fight. This should scale according to the delta, and this should not be so significant that the lower level gains an advantage 1v1 but enough that 2 or 3 of him (say his team members) should be able to have the advantage of numbers) The buff could just be higher accuracy, health, def, attack, to more equal the playing field. This buff/debuff should not occur if the lower level player or group started the fight.
  3. Map – I would love to be able to make my own permanent but also editable and removable marks and pins that I can label on my map. I enjoy exploring maps and as an explorer I would mark my own points of interest on the map or routes I would take in my repeated travels. Also it would help by keeping track of what I buy and sell at different nodes as a trader.

For example to make butter it is more to buy the cows and hay and water and making them into adults then to once again turn those into milk then take milk to make into butter and if you look at what they sell for or even meals you make with the butter there is no real profit to be made and for someone who chose these as a profession its kind of putting me off from progressing any further because im constantly broke. 😦

  1. PvP zones should have the best gathering nodes/resource, but currently they have very few. Please add higher rarity nodes in lawless zones.
  2. Static spawn points/node rarity turned the "end game" into spreadsheets and timers for camping willow spawns, named NPCs, and legendary nodes. Please better randomize spawn points and rarity.
  3. It might be nice to have "safe zones" in un-sieged cities or at least better guards (mages/rangers in watch towers who have larger aggro range).
  4. temporary immunity (5-15 seconds or until player moves/acts?) when logging in might help prevent "griefing" or logging in and being dead from random aggro.
  5. I'd prefer if NPCs wouldn't aggro below a certain lvl difference, or at least greatly reduce the aggro range.

  6. Simple Economy Balancing - the economy loop for each skill feels too unbalance due to two factors the rarity from each gathering skill and that some items are not "consumable". The easiest change to make is to make gear and tools have a destruction point after repairing a number of times. This will drastically improve the game play loop for crafters. The longer you want to add this feature the harder it will impact the community.
  7. Gathering Rarity Balancing - personally it feels like the community is legendary or bust. Forcing legendary items to really be legendary, like it is with hunting, will be a major improvement along with the the economy changes above for crafting. To hear someone got legendary should be something crazy that the whole server will be talking about. Right now its the expected minim.
  8. Visual Display for Carried/Gathered Items - There is currently no visual incentive to attack someone who has items of high rarity. Having some way to make the risk of carrying/transporting an item will improve the over all PvP risk of the game. Even just having a flash of light when item is gathered will cause more people to PvP
  9. Improve Wars - add more time and points to make wars last longer to let more people participate.
  10. PvP Force Flag with Raid/World Bosses - World bosses right now are just a damage race. Players are to scared to PvP as the healers will be picked off. having something around with when damaging the world boss it causes PvP combat flagging. This will add more risk to the reward, making player really think when going to fight over a world boss.

  1. Party glint drops/distribution does not seem to work all the time and party has to disband and or everyone needs to log out before it works, but then it happens again. Seems to affect item drops as well.
  2. Harvestable nodes, and possibly treasure mounds, are spawning in terrain features making them inaccessible. Some harvest nodes can be interacted with but are bugged and do not yield mats nor disappear.
  3. Gathering as a whole. When a harvestable item is seeded at server reset or on whatever timer they are set to seed, the rarity of that vein or tree remains the same until another server reset or reseed. This results in camping of single harvest items by players on a set timer. A RNG of both the timer and the rarity needs to be implemented

  1. My wife and I play side by side. We have issues of not seeing each other when logged in. We can attack the same mob. We can send group invite. But we both have to log completely out and hope we can see one another. 2. My characters Beard is always stretched 3 foot above his head until I zoom in, this happens mainly while on a mount. 3. When farming goblins after the first 4 or 5 killed, new ones pop up and are not killable, but my character is being attacked and I cannot see the goblin nor attack it or target it.

TLDR: Everyone just picks the "best" mount or BoB because it's the fastest. All you see in town is everyone on crocs, when they get fixed it'll be runic steeds most likely. This is boring and makes getting the others a bit pointless as they aren't worth anything. Also means T1 mounts are quickly unnecessary. System needs adjustment so that each tier is always worth it and allows for player expression to pick what they like based on looks rather than stats so we don't just see the same mounts everywhere. You'll have hopefully 100s of mounts. I want to see all of them, not just 5 because they are the "best (fastest)"

  1. I don't like mounts and beasts of burden speeds and stats as they currently work. People will always just choose the best stats so you very quickly just see the same mounts or BoBs over and over and over. This also means the others are just not worth anything.

I think they would work better if they all had the same two speeds speeds based on the terrain they are on. Instead of just aquatic/ground, if it is possible, have it more like grassland, sea, rivers, mountains, forests, sand, snow. Then have each tier have say a flat 130 speed or whatever on all terrain but the 155 or whatever speed on their preferred terrain. T1 might be say good for grassland, T2 are river animals, T3 are mountainous. You get the idea. I'm sure you could take the idea and turn it into something that actually works. Just trying to provide a different angle 🙂

This way everyone would always need animals at all tiers and within the tier it'll then come down to what do people like the look of. That will make for a much more interesting game rather than seeing the same mount all the time because that's the "best" mount. Right now you can go to any city and it's just full of crocodiles. That's boring and uninteresting. When the crocs are fixed it'll probably be the runic steed that everyone runs around on.

  1. Mount skill icons will randomly show on screen when you’re not on a mount, or even have one out.

  2. As a bard, if you get on a mount while a melody is playing, the melodies’s visual will be bugged and show persistently, even when there is no melody playing. If you play a melody, the visuals will stack, and this bug can be repeated to stack melody visuals.

  3. When you are moving (mounted or not), you can sometimes get bugged where it looks like your character is running into an invisible wall and keeps getting rebounded back. While moving, the bug will persist no matter what direction you’re facing. Stopping movement briefly and then continuing to move will remove the bug and operate as if nothing happened.

  4. After a cleric performs a resurrection, sometimes the revive prompt won’t change to allow the player to resurrect themselves. Another resurrection skill must be used on the player until it works.

  1. When there are too many statuses on a character, it’s hard to see important ones. Example: nodes will sometimes apply 5 statuses to a character causing you be unable to see any applied buffs, melodies or important debuffs like burning. This makes it much harder to support as you do not know what statuses are on your party, and instead are looking at useless node buff info that is extremely static.

  2. DLSS Frame Generation graphics setting doesn’t persist after game restarts.

  3. Some keys can’t be bound to some actions. Example, descend can’t be bound to the left control key.

  4. Keys cannot be bound to multiple actions.

  5. Roads should give a small movement speed increase. This would improve the travel experience without undermining the absence of fast travel. It would also cause more active players to naturally crowd on the roads, making the world look much more lively as you travel. This speed buff can scale with nodes.

  4. Mob pathing needs massive improvements. They get stuck on objects too often and struggle with vertical movement.

  1. Camera viewing angles need a ton of work. I should be able to look around while gathering without interrupting the gathering process. Objects should never obscure my character.

  2. Indoor environments need proper lighting.

  3. NPC's need to be given 'life'. There is very little NPC movement and it makes the game feel static and dated.

  4. Terrain needs an artistic makeover. Ground surfaces feel too flat and uniform as if they're just out of greybox with basic textures. We didn't spend time upgrading to UE5 for nothing.

  5. UI overhaul needs to be prioritized, particularly Map functionality. Along with combat, UI is a tactile interaction for the player and it needs to feel much better. Menu/font resizing capability, menu logic, hyperlinks.

  1. Bard buffs interfere with summoning and dismissing mounts. They refresh every 3s which cancels the cast bar for whistling your mount.
  2. Enemies resetting from different elevations. Enemies used to teleport to your elevation. Now they just reset their hp to full. Enemies should use ranged attacks, or climb down, or not be placed on different elevations. Ruins of Aela has Goblin Creepers throwing rocks, and Goblin Shamans standing on the parapets, they just reset now. Other enemies respawn incorrect inside the ground or up on the sides of cliffs. All enemies must perish, glitchy placement and respawns cannot save them.
  3. Character creator. Panel system for final edits should be extended to full body. Maxing out chest on my girls makes them look more broad than she-hulk and more broad than hulk-hulk. They're intimidating. Plus in game their chests inflate to torpedo proportions. You have to mount to return your chest to designed proportions.
  4. Character creator. Tattoos should overlap.
  5. Character creator. Only the Aelans have sexy underwear.

  6. Loot rolls. Winning a loot roll should automatically place the item in your inventory, you shouldn't have to run back to find the body again and reloot. This especially slows down groups for tanks / healers. It's like the idea of, ooh here's this loot, k lets roll for it, ok so and so won it, toss it over, tada, in so and so's bags.
  7. Tool Tip for Combo Attack button is awesome. It encompasses all the skill tree upgrades. Should make it more obvious what damage types benefit from physical and which benefit from magical power increases.
  8. Soft locking targets is finicky, haven't worked out a recommendation yet, but default is kinda counter intuitive.
  9. As we move towards Beta, graphics will need to increase more to compete with other Unreal 5 rpg's.

  4. mayor mounts being way too strong for resource gathering - add a duration to flying followed by a cooldown period. when servers restart mayors can just fly around very fast and find all rare resource nodes and then keep track of the respawn timers. if they find one of the limited legendary resources they can just endlessly farm it due to knowing the exact moment it will respawn. (everyone can do this however with a flying mount they can literally hover at tree line and find significantly more of the insanely limited tier 2 / tier 3 trees).
  5. Make resource nodes (trees / ores / herbs / ect ) respawn randomly, please stop having the same node respawn as the exact same type of node and rarity everytime until it shifts with a server reset/restart/patch. creates very awful resource farming culture.
  6. artisan refining - please just add a refine X option, being limited to 1 / 5 / 10 / 25 / 50 / 100 / 250 is an unnesesary time sink of baby sitting the que system (if you do a 50 refine, and it needs to be refined 2-3 times and you get the random 1 or 2 rarity procs it makes it so you have to sit there and endlessly do crafts of 1 over and over such a waste of time.

  1. When mounted and crossing server workers, sometimes your character just stops at the line. But to you, you're still moving along. If that line is by a mob that aggros, there is a good chance you will die.
  2. Journeyman lumbermill processing - Willow paper has the wrong recipe, requires only oak only.
  3. Invisible mobs. Had a couple occasions now where a mob was visible to me, but not others in my party.

  1. Visual effects overload. Give me some control over how many cast effects I see from others. It can be very overwhelming at times

  3. Player culling - there are times during small scale PVP events when the players I can target are not displaying until they get closer

  1. While gathering resources around the map, some resources don't despawn after their harvest, they cannot be harvested a second time. Consequently, it happens often that one walks up to resources only to realize its not possible to harvest them. Once or twice wouldn't be a problem but recently it has been a lot of that. (Due to profession, I mostly experienced that on trees)
  2. The small crates of carpentry have a sell price of 1 copper/piece. That seems far to low.

  1. The Camouflage skill of the ranger-class is in my opinion hard to utilize. After casting, the player model sometimes turns invisible and sometimes it doesnt. In both cases the cooldown timer counts down from the maximum and its not quite clear to me wether the skill is in effect or not. Even when invisible there is no timer to show how long one is invisible. Furthermore, there are no indications of if an enemy has spotted you or is close to do so.
  2. I recently obtained higher rarity apprentice gear, but even though the grind felt quite hard the difference in speed or rarity didn't quite match that.

  1. Gathering logic - resource nodes having locked quality for the set amount of time. Which in turn makes it so there is no progression for gathering equipment. Also, a lot of people are being discouraged from gathering as there is no point in even starting, if you cant dedicate 4+ hours to it in one session.

  2. Imbalance between hunting/fishing quality acquisition in comparison to other gathering professions - ores/woods/plants are abundant in legendary while for carcasses, rare is like legendary.
    The inconsistency discourages hunting.

  3. Storage space is too small for any artisanship enjoyer - makes the management very tedious when you are forced to have alts just for storage.

  4. More values in processing job size - 1/5/10/25 is very tedious, when people come with specific requests. This alone makes me hate the system and customers as i feel like my time is being wasted.

The biggest and only feedback I want to give as everyone else here has covered the other concerns. - enchantments this system has to change big time, I get that the game isn't here to cater to everyone but making the enchantments so ridiculous to the point where level 20 is supposed be an achievement just like level 10, but level 10 gear fully enchanted destroys level 20 gear is insane. The math is off. Also enchantments shouldn't be stat boosters they should be effects, fire damage on a weapon or Increased bleed chance not stacking strength so people have 3x the power of everyone else. No longer making it skill based pvp. Everyone shouldn't be afraid to enter pvp due to this or that guild having +10 on their entire set. It needs to be a case of we won because we outplayed them not we sank our guild bank into everyone's gear. So now we own the server.

  1. Teleporting way back past in time at the border of server workers - while you can detect it with your mounts, its frustrating to have it happen on your caravan. No indicators unlike on mounts

Its been 2 months... at the start, people were saying this game is like 4-5 years away from being good, and I was like nah. At this rate, Im starting to believe it.
Like you guys are wasting time doing useless "balance changes".
Maybe start by fixing the crocs? I can fix this in under 5 minutes.
Then, fix caravans? instead of spending 90% effort / patch notes on pvp balance, work to resolve the CRITICAL issues with the game. Dissapearing stashes, caravans being a mess, nodes being static, terrible world boss spawn system, theres so much you can fix. Some of these fixes can be simple even if theyre just temporary.
The gameplay loop rn is to farm static nodes and attack a caravan if you see it. If you made any attempts at fixing the boss spawns, we would at least have consistent boss spawns to fight over, bosses that dont spawn immidiately after restart (so its not a race of who loads in faster), etc.
Ik its just an alpha and not enough content, but with the content now, if you just tweaked it a little bit, there would be gameplay loops for people to engage with.
The fact that you left crocs at bugged speed, nodes just static and farmable, and boss spawns bad/bugged, shows that you guys need to have a team meeting and get some priorities straight.
Its been 2 months and it feels like nothing has changed, well for the better anyways.

  4. I'm sick and tired of getting ganked by people who have enchanted level 20 gear from unintended war deccing. Delete ALL gear that is level 20 and enchanted. Journeyman enchanting scrolls currently cannot be crafted because of the need for all the proper buildings. So those who abused the war decs are super enchanted by that abuse and have had zero punishment. They just go out murdering everyone because they can and no normal player can stop them. I have never felt so weak on my class until now.
  5. World bosses (Tumok specifically) is 50% or more dead before servers are even announced they're up. Why is this even possible????? Put a variable on the timer, or don't allow Tumok to spawn until a minimum of 15-30 minutes after a server reset.
  6. Stop catering to the zerg guilds. They receive all the benefits for abusing the systems (or lack thereof) in place and world bosses and barely any punishment has been enacted. Normal players do NOT have access to journeyman enchanting scrolls, so why are you allowing those who abused the system (or who were part of a guild who abused the system) to keep something that is NOT obtainable right now? If I died to someone when I have the SAME opportunity to obtain what they have, then fine. I need to play better. When I die to someone when I CAN'T obtain the same things because of abuse or exploits, how is this right? You're sending a message that cheating is allowed even though outwardly you say it's not allowed. Prove that it's not allowed.

  1. TTK has to get looked at. At 420-500 power players die in 200-400ms in any scale of PvP unless they dodge AND their healer reacts lightning fast. Dodging should feel impactful and be a big part of skill, but that TTK is still criminal.

  3. I’d like an external raid cd that’s big enough to call. Like priest in wow has a big cd called Power Word: Barrier that gives everyone standing in Damage Reduction (I believe 15%, they tune it every xpac). One big cd per class that’s worth calling out is a must. You have some rn, but not many.

  1. Being teleported across the map when on a caravan randomly/losing caravan event as a driver. Leads to caravan disappearing and/or breaking future caravans
  2. Dismounting teleporting back
  3. Unlootable gatherables spawning. Either the prompt to harvest doesnt popup (not on freeholds) or it does but it throws and error when trying to harvest

Top 3-5 Most important feedback topics:

  1. Caravan risk and balancing for defenders. Currently attackers have no risk when attacking a caravan making caravan attacks really difficult to fend off since they can keep respawning and throwing bodies at you.
  2. Caravans interaction with War declaration. If a caravan defense is made up of 2 guilds, currently potential attackers can declare war on 1 of the guilds and be able to kill off one of the guilds without corruption and without flagging as caravan attackers. This effectively makes it so caravan defenses have to be fully mounted by 1 guild right now or risk being split.
  3. More "official" information as to how core systems like node buildings, wars, caravans, etc... are supposed to work. Particularly with node development, its not clear as to how things are supposed to work or what is correct so reporting bugs or providing feedback on balance is harder

  1. UE5 crashs and game freezes
    this has by far the most impact on me.
    because death is extremly punishing and a crash or freeze allows every random low level crow to kill you I've been playing low risk low reward things like cutting trees all week. and i still almost died a few times. so even if the game doesn't crash for a day i still need to play like it would crash every second.

  2. invisible or out of sync objects npc's or players.
    i got often attacked by NPC's that i could not see and i haave obsevered that NPC's were fighting with invisible players.
    or that cut down trees were still standing on my screen after cutting them down so that i had to reconnect in oder to see the where i can continue because there were too many ghost trees to find the real ones

  1. cooking seems useless at the moment.
    the vendors are selling common food really cheap completely erasing the market for them buit even without them. the effort of collecting materials, processing them and crafting is quite high so the final product price would need to be quite high so that everyone in the chain can make some profit.

  1. Caravan Bug causing you not only to lose your caravan, (spawning in wrong node despite being in the right node) but getting constantly crashed out of the game towards the launcher, when you ask the caravan master and click on "I´d like to manage my caravans"

  2. During war declaration if 1 Guild declares war on another guild, then other guilds should not be able to "heal" one of the parties and stay out of combat. Only way to deal with that would be to go corrupt and kill the one guild, that doesn´t participate.

  3. If 1 guild declares war, then that guild should not be able to immediately attack.
    There should be a timer before a war actually breaks out, giving the defending party enough time to prepare for the war. This would prevent certain guilds from sniping others at the storage clerk on purpose in town.

  4. Bard aura preventing trades and mounting up is still very annoying.

  5. clicking on "defend" on a caravan and it putting you on attack is bad.

  1. Rework the rarity system for wood, ore etc. I want the weapons and shirts and skivvies to ACTUALLY have an impact on quality and not have a set rarity in each node. Same goes for respawn timers. Bring more variety in the game.

2.There should be a cooldown between war declarations. One guild shouldnt be able to immediately declare war on another after having done a fight.

  1. Have a proper "search" function for player stalls , so that you actually search for current items in the shop and not for the name of the shop.
  2. Make Epic Melody of bards affect Caravans again and work on buffs properly applying to the caravan (mainly Pep from bards)
  3. Fix hunting and tanning rarity variety. values seem to be too low on the hunting side.

  1. Processing is way to rigid. Allow for a mix of colors to give a processed end result with slightly lower or higher stats than a pure single color item. This will introduce differences in quality of items being sold just like a real economy.
  2. Treasure maps. The maps need work. The only way to see the maps sometimes in thick undergrowth is to lower my graphics to that of a potato. There needs to be just a little better way to see them with full graphics.
    3.Hunting need more work. A lack of colored hides is handicapping the crafters. Droppings need a low level toon to be able to farm for them or they just don't drop (Pardon the pun)

  5. Mob training continues to be a problem, corruption stops you from protecting yourself as chance to lose gear will always outweigh XP debt

  2. Mob spawn rates seemed to drop off as the week went on. By Monday night, there was only 1 group of us on Carphin 2nd floor, but there was hardly any visible mobs. Whether this is because backend "mob spawner service" stopped working (no idea how it works, but Im assuming you have something like this) or that all the mobs spawn out of map/in walls etc so were technically alive but not visible. to players to kill. Obviously running 24/7 need to fix these issues or restart every day 😦

  1. Haven't tried on my tank character yet, but prices to join a node are crazy, especially if you role alts, if it goes up for every person. Should be a flat fee.
  2. As suggested previously, lack of direction IMO (and tools) on what each week players should play test. Currently players are treating it like a game. Perhaps IS to implement something similar to the referral system, but bug bounty's with rewards of in game currency etc for players actually testing, finding bugs and reporting them. Should not have to rely on tools to ban exploiters.
  3. Weekly targeted feedback thread is nice, but is to wide and will invite the same ol' complaints of caravans not working - I saw your comment about just this week 🙂
