They will have some over-the-shoulder aiming aspects. However, they will also have some aim-down-sights (ADS) aspects. We’ve already seen some of these in Apocalypse!

I know Intrepid has talked about how they plan to quash gold selling and buying in game, but have they said anything about how they plan to stop people from selling their Sword of Awesomeness on ebay since the plan if the majority of items to be trade-able?

They have not issued guidelines on that but they probably will take the same stance they have taken on sales of accounts. Grey market trading is not something they can control, but they have said that you will receive zero support from them if you get scammed. They will actively ban anyone that breaks their guidelines and could very easily make those legendary items bind on equip for those one of kind items that might fetch actual IRL money for RMT. Expect there to be shocked individuals screaming on reddit about unfair bans and account suspensions when they get caught trying to game the system.

There are wipes of alpha and betas, but there is a headstart server for players who have a pack from kickstarter. Nodes etc wont be enabled during the time of headstart till the offical launch but players will be able to lvl etc.

At this point I don't think a lot of people care enough about the BR mode - and even though they said it was for combat testing at first, they've made it it's own game or game mode and already set off a lot of "trolls" into calling AoC a scam (mainly claiming that it was always just going to be a BR and not an MMO... pretty ridiculous if you ask me but yea).
One thing is for certain - the more information we get about the MMO piece the better. The BR mode is just not worth the attention anymore i think.

There is a warehousing system planned to allow you to transfer items between alts. There will not be a system where you will be able to put something in the bank in one region and then take it out for the bank in another to get around the caravan and risk of transport overland of goods.
There is also no mailing of items confirmed.

Unlike nodes, there are 5 pre-built castles on each server. These castles have influence over 1/5th of the world map each. Castles can only be contested for by guilds.

I’d assume Conjurer will summon demonic creatures. I’d be disappointed if an Enchanter’s summon looks the same as a Necromancer’s summon.

Well, there will be automatic bounties on people who have reached a certain level of corruption and bounty hunters will be able to track them down. If I remember correctly. As for putting bounties on anyone, that's a difficult one as it's a system that could be abused to grief certain players.

Yup, some of the extra security we have in place (like letting you know you're about to click a link that's taking you away from the forums) may be preventing images that you've linked from displaying properly - this is being investigated further!

Ye, that's what Toast just mentioned, the external linking gateway wont function if you hyperlink the image. Hence the misuse potential.

Ideally how it works is...you click the linked image, it pops up the "are you sure you wanna?" message, and lets you through if you accept. It looks like right now it does not work ideally 😉 because right now it tries to pass through the "are you sure you wanna?" as part of the image URL, which breaks it.
Not sure if it's something we'll be able to resolve, but like I mentioned, will investigate further!

For youtube videos, simply pasting the link will embed the video.
However for images you either add [img]link[/img] or click on this and paste your link to auto add the same tags.

@tawny bluff the way it works from what I heard Steven saying is each master artisan class will have the recipe in their crafting list, so no matter what 3 artisan classes u have they wil be able to make it. This was a while a go so Anything is subject to change

We know you cannot make a guild until a node is a certain level.
What if the node is destroyed that you made your guild from. Your guild hall is destroyed. Will your guild loose level?

So, I was under the impression that AoC Apocolypse open beta started back in december. I played it for about 2 days before it shut down and I've tried logging in again once a week but it says beta credentials not valid. What does this mean, and am I missing out? Or is it not an open beta?
