Once you open the email, click the link to the NDA. Opening sends a read receipt to Intrepid to process. Upon processing, a list is generated for me to work from to provision Forums access. Once in place you will see a new title next to your name as indicated in this image. Oh, the small pets, from the store and others are said to be standalone items that can be summoned from level 1. They don't not have stats or combat abilities. Pets with stats, gear, and abilities will be in game as part of the taming/husbandry system, but should not be confused with the "cute, small pets" from the store.

Yeah, getting combat right is the most important thing. If they nail the pvp, then the pve falls into line much easier. If they dont nail the combat system, it doesn't matter how many bells, whistles, and shiny skins they make, the game will fail. So once they have combat where it needs to be we will see more of the PVE side of things.

AoC doesn't have set minimum requirements yet - Here are some suggested minimums though Windows 10, older versions may or may not work, with I think not being more common, and a GTX 960, anecdotally some people with lower cards have been able to run the game but the 960 is what Peter once said in an interview (Intrepid seems to be going with that not having been an official statement) - AoC seems to use about 8 gigs of RAM on it's own atm so between the RAM your GPU provides and available system memory will need that much - installing the game onto an SSD might help atm

Btw for those installing the client I noticed that when you get to select a location for it if you want to make a new folder for it do it ahead of time. If you don't the installer will start installing right away before you hit yes then try to install the files in the one it makes and your named one. This happened to me yesterday and it causes you to get an error when you launch the game.

Also I got that e-mail like 24 hours after I got the client download e-mail. And when trying to log into the client, it says I'm not authorized to access the service.

I think i figured out the issue. While the email address matches the account i bought the alpha 1 pack on. In the email in tiny print it references the user name of an account i made a while before purchasing the a1 pack as i was trying to get the referral to work. Which does not have that email as the email on the account.

Intrepid will often post official updates on the #apocalypse_test_news channel and the #apocalypse_test_discussion board. To date, there have been two kinds of tests: Scheduled tests and spot tests. The scheduled tests have an official date and time posted in advance. The time of the test can vary, but later sessions can last for weeks at a time.

Spot tests generally happen during weekdays primarily in the afternoon and early evening hours PDT. Testers will often be pooled from the tester Discord channels when the developers need them. Spot tests usually operate on a first come first serve basis.

No, I am referencing how the game is set up to be played. I recommend aocwiki.net. Once you do some research you will understand why servers are distinct from each other. There is no fast travel, world chat, world map, and various other things that you will find.

And yes, the node system does take a ton of calculating capacity. Every single transaction, pve action, pvp action, trade, and so on are tracked.

@topaz ledge No, on the friendly fire question. People will NOT flag other people by running through AOE. To initiate a flag on someone you have to target them with a single target ability to "force flag" them. Healing someone while they are flagged will flag you also.
