Yes and no. Royal mounts earned by killing world bosses die after a time. The ones granted to mayors and the kings/queens of castles last until a new mayor or royalty takes over

I was looking at the classes, and I noticed there was no explicit unarmed/martial arts fighter. is this a sort of class we would be able to make by combining certain classes and choosing certain skills? for reference I'm talking about something like the monk from D3 and Striker in Black desert.

I doubt it. This is set up to be a European Fantasy game and the weapons are not class restricted. It's possible they might make some sort of 'brass knuckle' kind of weapon tree at some point to replicate brawling, but I doubt it.

There was one guy in testing who tried 3 monitors and said he only had issues when he turned the resolution up to something incredibly high, he blamed it on his system and not the client. So at least you know they have the possibility out there and higher ratios and resolutions are being supported.

All the higher tier packages got their invites last week, and the very first BoW, since those that bought the early bird $400 and above were naturally the first to purchase in most cases, they had lower backer numbers. With 3k being added this week as the stated plan, it would be very unusual if they didnt manage to get all the KS/Summer BoW in.
That would bring the total with the 1k so far to 4k. So next week they just need to get the rest since we are sitting between 8.5-9k for access to A1. So next week expect to see a number of 4-5k or just a statement of we finishing off the invites.

Yep, get everyone in, then announce official start. Was always just a question of semantics. Nothing groundbreaking is going to change. Tests will still be occasional when they need/want to turn the servers on whether they call it stress or official. You will get the invite. The emails just went out to the 10k A1 testers. If you did not receive the email (make sure to check spam and other folders) then you should file a ticket from the main ashes website with the support button explaining the situation as there could be a remote possibility your upgrade might have not been noticed (I have no backing for that assumption). Once you have your credentials there is a process that assigns your forum badge and Discord permissions.

I upgraded 2 weeks ago, and was told if my ticket hadnt been answered by midnight tonight to @sacred palm but idk any mods, so shrugs I still dont have my forum badges or anything to signify my upgrade, and IDK how all that works. If you haven't received one, then you are not playing in the stress test. I think they removed Alpha1 access from packages months ago. The BR mode will be open to all registered users sometime in October.. Again, this has already been answered. We need a stackoverflow-like moderation that deletes duplicated questions.

A1 was capped at 10k testers. However, anyone with a registered account will be able to participate in limited time tests of each A1P1 phase at a later date. So free access for all 500k estimated down the line.

@blazing igloo Well, they will get you sorted as long as you have the documentation. There was a period where they sent all KS backers a code to get onto their system after Kickstarter. Some people had them delivered to spam/promotions folders and missed them, so had to be helped by CS just like you. No worries, they will get you sorted, just may take awhile with the current backlog.

@dry oriole Yes, NPC have been said to play a part in the defense of nodes. Different sections of the city have NPC bosses that must be defeated for the siege to advance, and npcs can be permanently killed during sieges. (dont worry, they are replaced by others in case of a failed siege)

nope
you will not have for example 3 alts with 3 kyber saddles. One of your characters will be able to have that particular skin.
But if you want your alt to use it, all you have to do is remove it from the character it is one, then apply it on the other characters mount.

Once you have bought a pack @winter flame you will have access to the future individual items at that tier of the pack. Example if you buy the most expensive package you could then buy all of next month's items individually. If you bought the cheapest package you may only unlock certain items that you can buy individually the following month

There is no fast travel planned for the most part. I highly doubt we'll see mage portals of any sort for that reason. They would break the caravan system if you could portal your goods to distant land where they will be more valuable.

There's no factions, like Hoard/Alliance or Republic/Sith, so having different major languages doesn't make sense. There's no 'sides' to separate.

Racial lines aren't significant enough to demand major cultural divides in the form of different languages.
Keep in mind, the story of the game has all races coming from Verra, escaping a massive catastrophe, and now returning to Verra. They have common origins and are likely highly intermixed.

I could well see the Tulnar having a very different culture and language. However for gameplay purposes that would leave them SOL if they couldn't talk to other players.
It doesn't seem to say if they can pick the above ground gateways... but that seems to imply they can't

games like PUBG, ARK Survival Evolved, etc
now granted Ashes is not fully optimized yet of course (still in Alpha)
but it does enjoy some driver optimizations inherited from other released UE4 engine games

@solid silo Please also realize that sieges will not be occurring constantly at the end of those timers. A banner must be crafted as part of process that requires ever increasing rare materials, master craftsman, and the cost to siege must be paid, which has been stated as equivalent to what it took to take the node to its current level. So while there is a cooldown of 20 days after a siege for a level 3 node, do not expect every level 3 to be sieged every 20 days.
