Nodes will not reset by themselves, you'd have to delevel the node via siege wars. The world will be ever changing and controlled by players building up nodes and destroying them in order to see more content.

I just thought of something that would be neat, but maybe it has already been addressed. Does AoC plan to have particle effects adjust based on someones strength? For instance, say a wizard casts some kind of spell that shoots of a fire blast. Depending on the skill level of that player, the fire blast could adjust accordingly. A small blast for someone that hasn't advanced their skill/their stats are low, to a raging blast for someone that is more powerful. Is that something being considered/answered yet?

40 man raids are confirmed, possibly smaller raids as well but I believe they haven't confirmed them yet. Group size for dungeons are 8 man. Multiple person mounts have been discussed but not much confirmed yet. And the map is supposed to be around 30x the size of skyrim.

ok just to put my two cents in on the math going on here: 14 sq miles multiplied by 30 is 420 sq miles. This is 30x the area of the original 14 sq miles. If you want 30x the length/width of something that has the area of 14 sq mi and then find the area of that then you would (sqrt(14)30)^2 or 1430^2 or 12,600 sq mi

If you look on the packages on the store, it actually is the only place where they have confirmed $15 month as the intention, and there is no discount for multiple months. 2 months of game time ($30 Value)/4 months of game time ($60 Value)/6 months of game time ($90 Value)/12 months of game time ($180 value)

Never said it was confirmed indeed. But it is a well used method. So I would be slightly surprised if we didn't see a small discount for 6 and 12 month packs. Say 10%-15% discount. I wouldn't expect this to appear until very close to launch though.

@lament trench they have not confirmed any crafting classes as of right now so it’s all still speculation I am still waiting on what will be available as well. But the theory craft right now “ nothing said here is supported by any fact other than my understanding of how an in depth crafting system would work” example your blacksmith makes nails and iron plates and gives them to a wood crafter who crafts planks and wheels who would then give those items to another crafter or npc to build a wagon.

I´m not talking about cooldowns of single skills. that´s normal that each skill has a cooldown. but it´s not normal (and especially not in every mmo) that you have cooldown on every skill just because you used a dot (which has a casttime of 0 seconds, means instant). In aion for example you could always cancel the cast of a skill and you just had a cooldown on that specific skill and not on all the other skills^^

Ff14 has a 2.5 second gcd which is only lessened by certain haste skills at end game. Wow has 1 second gcd. Swtor has 1.5 second. It's very common

You buy the $150 necro pack. This allows you to buy everything in March from the first two packs separately. But you decide you must own Stuffertons. So you upgrade your pack to the $250. You get everything in March up to and including the bear. But you cant buy the Cygnus Galleon. Now later today you see that the housing skin is only in the $500 pack, and you have to have it. So you upgrade again. You get all of the April cosmetics. To recap. You have now accrued the first two cosmetic tiers from the first purchase of necro. You have everything in the first 3 tiers of March. And for April you have all the available cosmetics. Since you have only paid the difference each time you upgrade you do not have 22 months of gametime...you have 12. Same with Embers. But from May on you can buy any of the cosmetics a la carte. If you had decided not to upgrade your Jan purchase, you would still be able to purchase cosmetics a la carte, just only to the first two tiers.

Seems like they intend summoners to be able to tame combat pets in a similar way to wows hunters. We don't know what restrictions the secondary augment will give if any to what can be tamed. Aside from that there will also be a profession that allows for taming and breeding of mounts, work animals, and non combat pets.

They stated what could be tamed, which was basically everything in game except what they class as humanoids and bosses. What is not confirmed is how far up a potential taming tree you will have to spend crafting points into to get there, or even which tree it is under, gathering or processing.

What is not confirmed is will that be a separate slot on the paperdoll and will you be able to add further skins to individual slots or will there be default cosmetic armor appearances that come with the racial.

They are working hard on building the game yes, alpha zero is currently what they're testing and we'll see more of the game this week for PAX East. We will also soon see the release of Alpha 1 to test the game even further. Yes they are selling cosmetics that are included in pre order packages but their main focus is building the game, which is why we see artwork and not full on rendering of these cosmetics, because their focus is currently on building the actual game.

Unlike Sky's Vengeance neither Bonestrider nor Stuffington feature anything that might indicate that they're capable of flying.
I know that flying mounts would be(or at least are announced to be) extremely rare, primarily being locked to castle owners / ruling elite. But... does this mean that previous mounts would be... capable of flight? They're evenly priced.

The swan boat was a very specific type of skin....for a very specific type of boat. Galleon I think was mentioned. So I think we can assume that skins are not generic but specific. Does this mean the Pegasus can only apply to cart beasts and/or specific sub types of caravan ?

Most likely Rune. Skins are specific to certain classes. You will not be able to throw a horse skin on a pridestalker for example. Different classes of caravans with different "abilities" was talked about. Depending on what you build it out as will most likely determine what skin you can put on it. For boats we have the stretch goal wording to go off of to confirm that there are indeed many classes of boats, from frigates, trawlers, to galleons.
And as always. More specific classes of skins, mo money!

They have built their reporting metrics from day one around combatting those issues. Unlike other games that reacted after the fact and struggled to implement systems, it was an issue from day one. The node system and the tracking they do, along with their 3rd party vendors should give them a good lead on squashing illicit behavior. Will they be able to eliminate it entirely? No, but large scale and repeat actions are definitely going to be impacted. Banning accounts and removing gains that make it profitable for gold sellers and those trying to profit off the system causes them to move to greener/easier pastures quickly.

Yay, okay so as i have played many mmo genre games my question is dealing with the crafting system, from the information i have gathered, there is x amount of professions broken into the 3 categories of gathering, production, and craft. Out of these 3 tree there are skills specializing in certain crafts such as armoramith, weaponsmith, alchemist and their production and gathering equivalents. As each character gains experience in their artisan class they can increase the skill level of one of the aformentioned skills. However due to the artisan class having a max skill level this means only x amount of skills can be effectively "maxed out" is this correct?

Okay good!! So as for my next question, will that system of the artisan class as it is now allow for a character to have enough artisan skill points to be a "master" in each stage of a certain craft? For example, my goal in this game is to become a chef[and open my own restuarant]. So i want to be maxed in cooking. However, as I want to be somewhat self efficient, will the artisan class allow me enough points to max the production and gathering skills used most in cooking which i assume will farming and another profession yet to be named.

Okay good, because i dont mind grinding, I just mind not being able to serve the best quality food to my customers due to a lack of the best quality materials, for example, 40 people become chefs 5 become farmers, the high quality ingredients becone scarce or harder to obtain

My last question pertains to the crafting skill again, so after you fully max your certain profession, will their be like a grandmaster tier of that profession you obtain? For example lets say there is 10 tiers of level for cooking, and i reach level 10, normal games would max out at that point and then only require you to get the ingredients for making excellent meals, however as a nerd i had a fantasy of this game allowing players to get to level 11 or the grandmaster tier, in which it would be just like another level however you would have to meet some requirement to maintain it once reachinf that level and if you do not then you revert back to master level until you gain that virtual level again. Would this game happen to employ something like that?

@digital yacht Your question from earlier. If you upgrade to LoM as a Kickstarter backer you would have access to the Angelic/Demonic. If you then decided to purchase the Fire/Ice as an addon purchase you would have access to those also. Remember you can only use a single skin on a single character. So you would indeed have all 4 currently on offer, you would just need to have them on 4 different characters or put one on, then take it off to apply another.

@idle siren can we get some consistancy and clearer details with the store descriptions please, i.e if the mount skin is for a normal mount, gliding mount, or an actual flying mount. If an armour is actually a costume or is it armour, or pets actually do something or are you just trying to upsell with misleading information.

Sky's Vengeance (Mount) - What you'll get: Death from above. This implies it is a flying mount, we know it is a skin but is it only for flying mounts?
Protector's Armor - What you'll get: Full plate will keep you and your allies unscathed. This implies its actually serves as armour, yet in the $500 package it states it as a costume.

got extra quesion now: how will costumes work (will it be separate slot like typical mmos have, wardrobe like gw2 has, or type aion introducted aka transform costume item onto functional item (basically sacrificing item containing skin and sacrificing functional items skin ...this allowing unlimited option of fashion ), this I think would be best way and could potentially avoid falling into pseudo-p2w if introcude even currently unobtainable skins as rare or hard to obtain drops (which keeps cash shop variant lucrative option for those with money but no time))

Hello. Just wondering if we'll see Black Desert style combat system like proper complex combos for individual classes specially when combing classes in Ahses. BDO's combat system is as immersive as combat will be specially for it's time and feels like the combat is very well designed and plays fluidly and heavily skill based. Have the dev team ever looked at this style of combat? And what are their Opinions? I genuinly hope that BDO's style of combat gets adapted because it's as good as any combat in any MMO will be. I do not play BDO any longer due to the terrible end game but the combat is the best i've seen.

There is a pool of 300 keys to be given away at PAX, from that pool some keys will be given out on livestream (to be announced at the time of giveaway) and some will be given away via random draw (off camera). In addition an extra pool of keys (not included in the 300) was given away to attendees of today's PAX panel. All of these keys will be collated and announced after PAX.

I posed this on @hollow fiber video but i wanted to bring it up because i am honestly confused about how it will work.
is it just me but a ranger using a spell book or a mace and shield just seems odly strange. I can see dual wielding and bow, crossbow but a spell book and mace/shield just seems odd. now if he is a ranger mage, okay spell book makes more sense, A ranger tank ok i can see going sword and board. but swapping out weapons on the fly just seems strange to me

remember that classes are made up of a primary and secondary, so a Fighter could have a Mage secondary which gives improves their magic casting

Question about the Node System. So, anyone who has played an MMO knows there's always a hierarchy as far as guilds with power goes. The best guilds are going to own the best nodes. How big of an "advantage" (for lack of a better word) will these guilds have over smaller more casual guilds on the less wanted nodes?

Well, those nodes will have more people, which means a greater force of power. Also they get more benefits I think, and have more money in general due to the economy of larger nodes. Also, the power guilds can control castles, which gives even more benefits

Why would you prevent people from doing something? If someone feels that they arein the wrong guild they should be able to switch? I think seeing guild hoppers bouncing between whoever is in power constantly just for various benefits could be an issue, but thats the same as real life.

I'm just going off of what I've seen from other games. Smaller guilds are going to have to fight harder for their territory and a lot of people might just say "screw this, i'm just gonna join the best guild so i get more benefits with less work".
