<@&257269635559194625> There has not really been much discussion about storage and account sharing with alts that i have seen so far. I think that one of the few things black desert online did get kind of right was the warehouse system. The had a warehouse in each city or town and were separate from each other. The warehouse was account wide so that you and your alts had access to this warehouse but seeing it was located in each town or city separately you would have to travel to that town to retrieve your goods from that warehouse. You could expand warehouse spaces / slots via quest or the downside via cash shop(which ashes could just make it plausible to expand warehouse space with in game currency instead). This may also provide a place your items would go if the node is destroyed that it would auto deposit into a special page or tab in your warehouse in that nodes region so you could then collect your goods at a later time.

before the siege there are declartaion times, meaning that you need to "que" for either attack or defense.

So, nodes will "consume" other nodes and prevent it from growing.
meaning that people that want to fight for their node, if they have a node that grows near them, will have to siege it, be it lower level then a metropolis.
Additionaly, political and resourcal rivarly are expected to happen aswell.
ADDITIOINALY, with the way the ZOI works, only a maximum of 5 metropolisis can exist in one time.
so if you want to "free" your city from a ZOI and advance it to the next stage, you'll absolutley have to siege another node.

in a sence that the crafter, cant craft without proccessed items.
the proccessorr cant process without the resources.
and the gatherer provides the base resources from the world.
Becuase of this holy trinity, and the fact that you can only truley "master" one of them.
You'll be reliant on one another, if you want to provide the best quallity item.
also, they did mention, that "if everyone is a master, then noone is" they want to ensure that becoming a "master" of crafting,processing or gathering
means alot.

a) gather the material
b) process the material
c) create the item
All those 3 are needed.
If persay, everyone wanted to be an "expert" crafter, there will be an empty space for the othere 2 professions,
and until someone would fill the void, these items will be none-existant.
Furthermore, if there is very little "gatherers", they will be the ones dictating the price.
its basic economics, someone will have to fill the void. but in the end, to achieve the final item, all these 3 stages will have to be put trough.
and by demand, you'll have better income.

@rigid flicker Not sure if you'll be crafting individual parts of weapons (like blade, hilt, crosspiece etc) but there'll be dials that you can turn that'll effectively change the effects of the weapon (like stats, appearance and other cool stuff). For armour it'll definitely be separate - all armour pieces can and will be individually crafted and have their own appearance so you can mix and match however way you want. I think they also mentioned enchanting be its own separate profession as part of the processing branch. And I would presume there would be a visual aspect to the enchantments as well so yes, I figure if you did enchant it with some kind of fire stone then you'd have bonus elemental effects as well as flames on the blade itself

@lofty haven Currency will be some kind of money but as far as economy is concerned, the prices of objects are determined by the player effectively through supply and demand (for gathered resources in particular) and it will be heavily localised. This means that individual nodes will have their own particular speciality of goods to the extent that a particular node with say a lot of miners will attract crafters from other nodes that will want to buy the best ores at the most reasonable price. And weapons and armour will all be unique depending on who crafts them, what they decided to customise it with and what level they are as a crafter so you won't find the marketplace littered with the same +1 swords as Steven likes to put it. These things together (and the gold sinks) will ensure that prices wont become heavily inflated and would keep the currency value reasonable.

About customisation, I would hope that guys and gals could crossplay and it's highly probable that some kind of crossdressing will be catered for by the system if not by skilled tailors/crafters since roleplay is a big focus and what better roleplay is there than some classic theatric gender swapping. Yes females will be able to get crazy ass tattoos and scars. Furthermore, they already said that they want armour to NOT be unreasonable so light armour might not cover everything to allow better movement but you can definitely have awesome heavy plated armour even as a girl (I'm reminded a bit of Elfie from Fire Emblem Fates as I say that). Also since mankinis are a thing, possibly? Though it wouldn't really serve well in terms of functionality but perhaps you could wear it outside of combat XD

I'll break it down since you asked a few questions:

  1. Yes, they mentioned that whatever happens in the world will be displayed, and since sieges has "wait period" before the start, you'll defintley be able to know about it and particiapte.
  2. They have stated that they will not allow battleships to interfier with sieges, the reason is: they dont want to "penelize" nodes that are build closer to shore.
    That is the information we know so far, ragrding the trade routes, nothing ^^

@shy stream They have confirmed it during todays stream that you'll ahve some sort of acccount "inventory" to manage your kick-starter items. so this is exactly what you'rre talking about!
Since it can be divided betwen characters, in theory you are true to say, that you can "transfer" it betwen servers, if your different characteres are on different serveers ^^

@stark cave If you want to make a big impact in the Ashes world then you'll want to invest time and effort and obviously if you're on three different characters all the time this wouldnt really be so. To give an example, artisan classes require you to actively participate through constant improvement. So if you want to become a craftman with a lot of reputation and skill then it'd be incredibly difficult (I'd say impossible) to become a master when you're jumping characters

The game has many advancement aspects, some items will be one of a kind.
masters at a certain crafts will be also, very hard to achieve,
so essentialy if someone wants to create 3 alts, he will have to dedicate the same amount of time as a "main" on all of those 3, if he wants to compare.

@empty pelican I believe they are leaning towards that kind of mechanic with gear. It's already been said that they want there to be a differences in movement capabilities depending on whether you are wearing light or heavy armour. So it's reasonable to believe that similar mechanics will apply to weapons because it's illogical for a crossbow to fire at the same rate as a recurve bow or something similar

@royal wasp First of all regarding the NPC.
It all depends on the success of the siege, If the siege is sucessful, the node will delevel and the NPC will no longer exist, it is also possible that a new NPC will take its place.
If a siege is not successful the NPC will respawn.
Regarding the leader of men reward, it is said you are to name one of the NPC's. it doesnt state that you choose where to locate it.
From the sentence "no longer exist" you can understand that they vanish from existance, however, it is possible that the name that you put into the system,
will pop up again, under another NPC. that is my interpitation with the infromation we've got so far.

Is a ranger, who has stealth abillitiees. so YES, this has been confirmed.
regaridng the sub question:
Yes, by detection, this means that the stealthy calsses will be vurnable to these particular classes, creating some sort of balance betwen invisibillity and deteciton.
so avoiding them will probably be the best choice.

I like how a character's race affects the look of the architecture in Freeholds and cities. Can this apply to crafted items as well? Crafters of all races could certainly make items of a "common" look, but wouldn't it also be cool for a Dwarven weaponsmith to make a sword that is distinctly "dwarven" looking just as an Elf would make one that looked traditionally "elven?" Now that being said, I can clearly tell that you have investigated the Tavern/Inn topic very well.

Cosmetic items are not p2w, including the FX for skills, since they do not put you ahead of the other player.
since by the same argument, you could say that costumes are p2w because you cant see the opponents armor,
or the mount he is wearing to decide weather you can outrun and chase him.

You have to draw the line, and cosmetics are way beyond the line.

Religion, will have its own "tree", just like a class in which you can advance.

This religious "class" that you pick (betwen 10 dieties) will level up by progression and "devotion" to that one religion, you also will lose the progress if you choose to switch to another religious class,

And finally the way to "progress" in this rank will most likley be trough vising and praising on a specific shrine:

along with quests that are related to that religion. Religion in Ashes is very tied with "questing" and will most likley revolve around it.

Now regarding the question itself,
you will have a sort of a "rank" and this rank will showcase you within this religion, a.k.a your progrerss in this religious class. HOWEVER, this has nothing to do with the leadership of a divine type node,
this leader will be chosen by, and I quote from the video:
"Trough service allocated quests, that directly helps others and their node, quest that proves their faith and dedication to THAT NODE"

meaning that, even if you're "master" at religion , it still wont be enought to make you a leader of the specific divine node.

not only that, they mentioned that they want to reward the player that does that in some way,
and idea for a system that will give this player "royalty" much like a panent for a period of time.

One more mistake your making is assuming "recipes" will be items within the game,
according to the information we got now, you'll be able to "unlock" them, essentialy leading to believe that the recipes wont be a physical item.

If the above was proved to be correct, then that means we'll probably have to "learn" reciepes from various quests or by disassembling items.

The Access to alphas and betas would be avilable trough multiple ways:

F&F Alpha will be around October of 2017 and youll gain access by either being friends or family (private invites) and keydrawings: check the forums here: https://www.ashesofcreation.com/forums/topic/information-regarding-weekly-key-drawings-2/

Alpha Phase 1 will be mid 2018 (most likley December but subject to change), this is the access you gain from buying Kick-starter packages.
followed by Alpha 2, which will be a presistnat alpha (will run all the way until release, and later will turn into a test server)

"F&F" Beta, again this is from keydrawings and private invites.
Beta phase 1 followed by Beta phase 2. as you might expect, no dates for now.

So just to sum it up, the sub will be after release, but you'll have to gain access to the alpha and beta tests if you want to play the game prior to release ^^

Is there a time limit on sieging?
After a node has been sieged, it cannot be siege for a long period of time.
The tentative siege cooldowns for the various stages are as follows (sieges can only occur after stage 3):
Stage 3: Village - ~ 20 days
Stage 4: Town - ~ 30 days
Stage 5: City - ~ 40 days
Stage 6: Metropolis - ~ 50 days

Earlier you said the above, won't that system be exploitable by having your node sieged once every 20-50 days and having the siege fail?

Elaborating on this, i hope that they realize that an economy is not something you can simulate 100% hands-off due to the organic nature of the system. Games which have been employing a 100% hands-off automated economy have always succumbed to massive inflation over the years. Faucets and sinks need to be controlled properly, and any exchange of currency (whether it is gaining or losing) should be encouraged to happen via players if possible. I'd make a case for making currency need both weight and space as well, since if currency has no 'physical' presence in the game it becomes just another stat of the character rather than an integral part of what seems to be supposed to become a complex economy.

I always found it funny to be walking around in games in just some tight fitting cloth robes, no backpack or other bag, but having 2,000,000 gold pieces on you at all times as well as several dozen complete sets of armor and weapons. Completely rips you out of the experience. Currency having weight and place would also feed into the 3m goal if it's reached, where you'd have to stash major gold piles in major city banks to keep it safe, or to make sure that small town bank gets big and the city grows around it to accomodate the physical presence of wealth.

Currency not having weight is partly a red flag to me since that may mean they're counting on people to gain vast fortunes beyond their control, which would imply that they may be putting too much faith into a fully automated economy.

Just a little thing to add: A realistic, or at least believable economy would need to understand that currency is a good, not an abstract value. One can trade a carrot for a tomato just as well as someone can trade a gold piece for a tomato. If a gold piece would become an abstract value, why would this not go for the carrot as well since it is used for the same purpose? The gold piece has a specific value because of its material - gold - which can also be used for other purposes. While the value of a gold piece can go beyond the value of the gold its made of, the same goes for, say, a well-made chair which may be worth a lot more than the wood its made of. One could state that currency in AOC is virtual like it currently is in RL, however that would imply that there's a vast and overvalued market of bonds and securities in place which should become tradable (which i have not yet seen mentioned), so i assume that currency in AOC is, in-world and in-lore, not virtual but real - and thus has intrinsic value.

But, there's still the first part of the question, which is how sinks and faucets will work and whether the economy will be 100% automated or at least partly manually regulated.

I was wandering about the "pure" classes. For example, I usually roll a healer, so what perks do I get if I take Cleric/Cleric in comparison to let's say Cleric/Bard or /Mage. If I remember correctly, only hybrid classes were mentioned, Fighter/Mage in particular, so I'm trying to imagine how can you augment your skills with the same set of skills. Thanks.

@soft narwhal So if you decide you wish to be a pure cleric/cleric you would get skill augments that would allow you to be even better at healing. If you decided to go cleric/mage for example the skill augments would be more focused around adding maybe crowd control to your core abilities.

We wont know that for a while. It is still in Pre-Alpha so the skills and augments are going to change numerous times before they lock in what they feel works best.

It is pretty early in development though to know the possible stat boots certain items will have, but undoubtedly we will have some items that hold +++casting speed bonuses.

How will you handle the cash shop so that it doesn't impact the rest of the game?
I am not talking about pay to win / pay for power here (which you explicitely stated wouldn't be a part of it). I am talking about other aspects:

-Exclusive Mounts: Now if there are exclusive mounts in the cash shop (or any purely visual item really) then this actually damages the game overall. How you might ask?:

Firstly using development money to develope those "forces" players to pay twice for content
Secondly for it to be exclusive, it can't exist in the game otherwise. Basically you are taking things, which might potentially be available to everybody someday, and making them only attainable by paying cash.

-Pay for shortcut: Being able to buy content reduces their value. The situation will not be "Cool! Have you seen that great dragon mount?" "Yeah! I'll totally try to get better and get it" but rather "Cool! Have you seen that great dragon mount?" "Yeah. Probably bought it from the cash shop or something". Ultimately this reduces the games longevity.

-Possible ways to avoid both of these points? Firstly no cash shop exclusive visual items. Secondly either time gate (a few months) other visual content and/or slightly change the looks of items so the one attained in game still looks cooler (while the one from the cash shop looks great). The ingame attained ones should always look "better".

Now to better understand my position. I consider myself a casual gamer, who doesn't like to push for top level content. However I'd rather not have the coolest gear and know there is another world out there (more to explore, more to gain) than have half the playerbase (including me) running around with super cool looking stuff (reason I also think Transmogging is damaging for an MMO). Inaccessability creates wonder and excitement. Accessability only creates apathy.

I'd like to hear other peoples and your thoughts on this.

I would just like to clarify a few things ^^
Firstly, all the mounts that will be available trough cashshop, including the mounts in the kick-starter are Skins.
meaning that you'll have to earn this mount in game to wear it.

So there will be no "mounts" in the cashshop.
furthermore, there will be a lot of cosmetics that are EXCLUSIVE that wont be avilable trough cashshop and only avialable trough ingame means (the dragon you gave an example of is one, it can be aquired only trought being part of the node leadership, king,queen mayor, and very rare ingame egg drop)

So to sum it up, your concern is exactly what Intrepid are worrying about aswell.
they dont want ANY p2w aspect in their games, including the one you mentioned ^^
Now regarding the cashshop exclusives, because these items will be only cashshop, like in many other games I dont think it will have much value, the realy "rare" items people would be looking to find are the ones that earned trough ingame and are NOT in the cashshop.

Depending on the quality of the exclusive cash shop items compared to the rest of the world, this might still turn out to be a problem (still effectively withholding content from the general game world) but it doesn't sound too bad. As long as the best looking gear and mounts ingame can only be acquired by doing difficult stuff I'm fine with it.

@dawn wind They'd probably end up doing a combination where if you have epic gear, buying cosmetics would make it look more to your liking or preference. Epic gear would still feel epic without the additional cosmetics

Somewhere, not sure where but it could've been on a twitch livestream, Steven said that Epic gear = Epic gear. It will also feel like epic gear and he essentially said the whole point of epic and awesome is also that it's rare and not openly available. I'm sure needletail could find a quote or sth. I doubt that Intrepid would end making +1 swords look like epic gear. That would kind of defeat the purpose of what it would feel like to wield or see that kind of weapon.

They might end up making epic sandals and hats more common though, or extremely rare and only reserved to the guy running around eating potatoes

<@&257269635559194625> If there are no different sets for PVE and PVP that throws up a host of new problems. Especially for people who like to do one or the other. It's almost always gonna be better to gear up one way or the other. So you might be a dedicated PVE player but the best and fastest way to currently gear up is PVP. Same Problem the other way around. So dedicated players of either style of play might be inclined to do content they don't enjoy for the content they actually wanna do. How do you expect to handle this problem?

Possible Solution: Make seperate PVP and PVE gear. Always make either of them slightly better for the content it was made for -> PVE gear more stats but PVP gear specific anti player resistance (ala WoW WotLk). This way you can use either of them in the other content but will be behind dedicated players of each. 100% PVE would be 80% PVP and vice versa. I know this means for higher content you have to gear up seperately but it also means people actually have an incentive to play what they want to play (PVE for PVE gear and PVP for PVP gear) instead of the currently fastest way to gear wether they enjoy it or not.

Another partial answer here: they mentioned that gears (crafted) will have dials that can be tweaked towards some stat at the expense of another, so I think this can be used to "tweak" your gear towards your playstyle.

@keen sapphire Thanks. This helps a bit but doesn't solve the basic issue. If there is only one kind of gear there will be a "fastest" way to attain that gear. And players usually choose the path of least resistance. Meaning you might love PVE but due to PVP being a faster way to gear you might be inclined to do so.

@split pewter The current avilable dates are F&F Alpha around October 2017,
with the Alpha phase one followed somewhere in mid 2018 (Probably December).

The dates wont be released for a good reason: the game is still pre-alpha and under development.
The test phases usually are unpredictble and can take any amount of time, even the first Alpha could be considered an estimated date.
Beta tests in particular are dealing with balancing the game and fixing bugs (and usually are closer to release, so that will make Ashes of creation Betas at around the end of 2019, since release should be before 2020)
that is the best information you can go for right now, as even Intrepid wont be able to give you a correct prediction since its simply too unpredictble.
Same applies for the wipes, when preforming a test, the question is "What are we testing?" and this answer just simply doesnt exist yet, since the game is yet to be developed.
Once the Alpha is over, and the main game is built, we'll get Beta tests.
For an estimation, we'll have to wait closer towards the end of the alpha test.

Can you (intrepid employees, NOT @nimble wave) give us any extra details regarding combat? I'm liking the general ideas that you guys put out there, however I was hoping for some more specifics. Do you feel as if combat is going to be fast-paced, medium-paced, or slow paced? Can you give us a game comparable to the combat you are looking to create?

Also you (Steven) previously stated that you wanted a balance between skill and gear -- not necessarily that they were of equal value. Which, if any, should be more important in your opinion: skill or gear? Or are you guys trying to make the two of equal importance?

Steven stated that they don't plan to have over sized weapons that are larger than your character in some cases. They are making the weapons more realistic in size to prevent breaking the immersion.

@surreal palm It has been mentioned that gold has no weight, so you will be able to carry around your massive fortunes with you. As for contract enforcement, it was mentioned that there will be a screen for trading and crafting and gold exchange that should prevent most "contract" violations.

@wary root I think with how the node system works, the world itself will be interesting and inviting for new players, and old servers will 'generally' be bigger and more populated, and that should serve to keep the new players going to them. I think this is a problem they would adress if it ever arose.

@crystal beacon I believe they have mentioned that you are given some parameters to work within. I'm certain you will be allowed to have a freehold based around any race in-game. It will definitely not be just a treehouse. As for the sizes, I would imagine less, but that is speculation; it may well be bigger.

Other players can interact with your freehold, especially if you build a tavern. Sorry I can't answer more definitively, hopefully the devs will get back to you.

In the beginning server will get overrun but after a while some server might get almost deserted. The easy solution for the beginning would be to lock the server but then you might separate friends when one is joining late. The deserted server problem is also hard to solve, e.g. you can do a server merge but what happens to a players home? Especially the more unique ones in a node.

Thats gonna suck. TOR and GW2 did that, and ended up with half the guilds being full of alts no one used and just ended up having to be kicked. makes guilds a cosmetic more than anything else.

In other words, you dont have to group up if you dont want to.
there will be content for solo players aswell (including dungeons).
but as with every playstyle that is very specific, youll miss out on a lot of group content,
so if you want to enjoy the best out of both worlds, you should adjust your playstyle ^^
Regarding your 2nd question about the PvP, this is the best answer you'll get:

there is no "end-game" according to the Devs and the game starts the moment you step into the world.

That being said, there will be no "holding hands" systems to equallize players, as an example of GW2 where the player adjusts himself to the level area he is playing in.
What you have instead is a system that allows the balance betwen gear and skill, making it a lot harder on higher level players to just completly stomb lower levels, HOWEVER, the lower levels affectiveness in PvP will also be lower then those of the higher level.

The node itself is filled with guards and players that can attack at anytime if the player is corrupted (have committed PK)
The corruption itself is very important, because the more you PK the weaker you become, you also get penalty in terms of chance to drop gear.
Camping a city, prior to the siege to "weaken" it actually makes it stronger, because you'll have chance to lose your gear and on top of that become weaker (the more corrupted you are the weaker you become in battle)
On more thing that is important to note is that there will be bounty hunters, these are people that are hunting down corrupted players and murder them without penalty.
If such a scenario would occur, you'll end up with a full guild of weaken players that will have a good chance to drop their gear and a lot of bounty on their hands.
The team have stated many time again, they will design against all sort of griefing ^^ #trust

@dreamy cove Some mounts (not all!) will have certain battle skills, BUT, you cant use weapons or skills while mounting, so most likley not. Altho, from my experience, the mount speed have a huge advantage and will be used in game by players in terms of strategy in the battlefield.

And being a top 100 guild in wow literally means nothing... being a top 10 can be something else. you're just copying the mechanics seen from the guilds before you lmao. not to mention the cheesy nerfs they give 24/7 to bosses.

artifacts and stuff. Our money drop system might be more aligned with a certificate drop, like if you
go to a a node in a region that has certain types of monsters and you speak to some games man or
hunter, they might give you an assignment or quest or whatever to collect different hides or scalps
from monsters that exist out in that region. You would collect those certificates and you would turn
them in at the end of an adventuring day to that individual and receive compensation that way.
That just seems more immersive.

When it comes to world mechanics, just based off of watching your kickstarter videos, i know you guys will do a great job there because you are attacking the problem with the right mindset, you guys are thinking critically about the problem, and are looking at it from a big picture stand point.

But I've seen little from you regarding your combat system.

I'd argue for you guys to make your combat system deep, with a high skill ceiling, not dependent on lvl or gear, but entirely on the players personal skill that they have developed. I think the process of achieving mastery in a complex system is more valuable and meaningful than simply grinding to make a number on your character bigger.

I understand the problem that comes when making a deep combat system, it comes in trying to also make a system that can appeal to the most amount of people, most people don't like hard things, its a fact of life. But i'd argue meaning and deep immersion comes from doing the hard things, not the easy things. I'd argue that risking having a smaller audience is worth it if that audience is far more dedicated and immersed into your world. Games with a deep combat system and a high skill ceiling like Dota are an example of this, i've met multiple people with upwards to 7k hours in games like Dota even though the game essentially consists of playing the same maps with the same characters. The reason why is due to how deep the system actually is. The people that play it, play it religiously, they get deeply immersed into the gameplay, because they are able to achieve a flow state.

With that said, i think this is the right direction we want to go in thinking about solving this problem. Because i would argue the above is exactly what we wish to achieve.

On the graph you see a correlation between challenge level and skill level, the higher the challenge and the higher skill one can achieve, the more flow and immersion one can have in an activity. I think psychology is important here, because i'd argue that good games, are good, because they take advantage of human psychology

It would be cool if players could choose there characters personality. If they wanted a funny guy he would sort of make jokes or laugh during combat, NPC interactions and in cinematics he would be a funnier guy. Same out come that you all would have had planned just different dialogue depending on the character personalities. You could also choose a more serious personality where his comments are more straight forward and blunt during NPC interactions and during combat he could talk about the targets poor form or something. Also you guys could come out with new ones like sadistic nature, innocent nature, or rage/angry nature.

This idea would definitely make players feel like there character is more personalized an branded by them.

Hey, I wonder about that summoner class. I really like to play pet classes but how will that work with the second class? For example if the summoner has a skill to summon a monster that fights for him in melee combat... how will the secondary class affect that? If you for example choose summoner/warrior will your pet get stronger in melee/defense? Or as summoner/archer will the pet fight with some distance skills? Or summoner cleric... Will you get a heal spell? Or do you have a heal as a summoner for summon creatures? Or will you be able to summon a creature, that heals itself over time or that gets a heal spell itself? Or does the secondary archetype not affect the pet itself but other skills? Man, I like all of the concept so far. I'm sure that you will have a great and unique class concept for summoners too and that there will be more informations on the classes in the future... It's just so hard to wait ๐Ÿ˜„

In addition to the craftsmen class tree (Set bonuses uppon creation)
So basiclly, you'll be able to choose what kind of items you're creating,

@hushed haven To begin with, maybe the two smiths wont even have the same reciepe (since recipes are earned) so the level only indicates how well can you mod the item. but to answer more specificly, there will be "dials" you'll be able to mod.

there is no "end-game" according to the Devs and the game starts the moment you step into the world.

That being said, there will be no "holding hands" systems to equallize players, as an example of GW2 where the player adjusts himself to the level area he is playing in.
What you have instead is a system that allows the balance betwen gear and skill, making it a lot harder on higher level players to just completly stomb lower levels, HOWEVER, the lower levels affectiveness in PvP will also be lower then those of the higher level.

Ever since the update to the forums I am no longer able to post anything. When I click on the forums and then click a section to talk in, it says I'm logged in at the top, but below where the forums are it asks me to sign in. When I try to nothing happens, but if I reload the page it says I'm logged in under both the website and forums. The catch is even when that happens and I try to post it says I do not have permission to do so. I had no problems posting on the older forums. I was wondering if Intrepid is aware of anything similar going on or knows of a solution that isn't completely unreasonable? Also, is anyone else having a problem with this?

I dont know if this question has been asked I havent seen it on any of the you tube videos, but will be able to transmog gear similiar to the way you can in wow? I think it adds more personality to peoples looks.

@jaunty remnant It hasn't out right been said that you will be able to transmog. I think the "transmog" feature will function more like Black Deserts costume feature where you can put on "skins" that change how you look as apposed to modifying the appearance of individual items.

How do I know that I have enough money for a KS package? I read something in the Q&A says as long as my pledge is being done successfully, it means I have enough money. @sharp fractal No, IP has nothing to do with it.
Once you refer someone, they should apear on your referal list.
HOWEVER, the money they pledged that will be transited to you (the 15%) is only after they tied their KS pledge to their account (in other words, after they used the code after the campaign is over in 1 day).
If you have any issues regarding the referal please make sure

  1. they are infact using your link.
  2. It is done from different account on 2 different machines (since they may have protection vs that)

@empty fjord Hey bud. No way a confirmation, but in the Freeholds preview vides there are roads and small bridges between the locations. They even lead right up to the small property fence. Plus, I can't recall from which Q+A, but there is suppose to be spacious buffers between Freeholds to keep the scenery tidy. My best guess is that there may be your token paths that all games provide to guide adventurers, and new paths will be added to support a spiffy new home.

@lyric nimbus I highly doubt that would be possible. AoC's node system makes every server unique from each other, so if cross-server activities were to take place, expect devastating disasters.

@spice raft It's not Intrepid. Kickstarter itself has that as it only payment options. However they have said that after the kickstarter is over they will have the option for you to pledge on their site, but backer/kickstarter exclusives will not be included.
