Yeah, replays dont work from before patches, because the replay is basically running through the game actions again. But if things have changed in the patch they wont play out right
#Nearly all replays before the Hotfix on August 10th are bugged.

If something changed that happened in the replay, it will change what happens in the replay, as the replay are simply a collection of the starting state, and then the inputs from the players 😄

If you really want to work for the replays, I think there are some tools to role back steam versions, but it may be tough

This won't work unfortunately, MM is an online game, so to do this you need the correct version of the game and a server that will let you connect
We update the server with every patch release, so currently you need to be on a 1.50 build to connect to the server
