I didn't notice until my opponent called me out but I was able to activate the effect twice.

I can second this. I've had two opponents take advantage of this recently against me.

Just to add a clarification, the Lyla effect activates as normal, but on my opponents’ next turn, they both were able to shift Lyla back to attack position when the card shouldn’t be able to.

yea this has been a bug for a while, ive had people do it to me and change lyla back to attack the next turn when they shouldnt be able to, cheating is never fun
