Dark Matter Not Activating

I've been getting into Rush Duels recently, and a friend of mine wanted to play the "Dark Matter" Archetype. However, when we were dueling, his monsters weren't able to activate their effects. I double checked with him and he checked as well, and he fulfilled all the requirements to activate the effect. Is there a way you guys can fix that? Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, Rush cards are only barely supported script-wise, so we dont get too many fixes coming for them, so its just a case of wait and see what the Rush scripters end up fixing unfortunately
