If you have a monster that can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each, but an attack gets redirected to a different monster you haven't attacked, does that mean you can't attack the monster you originally targeted for an attack?

doesn't patrician choose attacks instead of redirect them? isn't that different from say using attack guidance armour to change an attack target
