Two part idea in WS.

First part.
When a battleship (BS) is destroyed it leaves behind a broken BS. (Like the ghost ships outside the white star scanner) This Bs cannot be used at all and is solely to bring life into the WS a little bit. Showing the consequences of the battle. These broken ships could also be used as waypoints for other ships.

Second part
White star Ship graveyards.
Will be a field that spawns on the map (maybe 2-4 of them in the whole WS) these fields are broken ships from long past fights. They would add two new things to WS.

  • If a ship is sent to one of these as a waypoint and doesn’t move. That ship becomes invisible to the enemy team and can’t be targeted by enemy guns. Can be used to set traps, or protect miners and transport ships. However I think mods like vengeance or destiny that have a large blast radius would destroy the field and any ships hiding therein

  • Another idea that could be useful is the repair module on transport ships. I don’t see this module used at all pretty much in WS or RS. This would give it a use in the WS. It would consume a relic and would erase the debris field, but you would get another Battleship, miner, or Transport under your control.

This new ship level and mods could be completely random or be based on the repair module level being used. ( a lower level gives you tiny ships with low level modules, but a higher level could give you better ships with better mods).

I think it'd need quite a few iterations to be balanced, but it seems really fun

And in this state the hidden ships passive modules not working like BS weapons, they can not target the enemy manual guided rockets. Only when coming out hidden state by a button? but then visible and the hidding time begin again.

That’s a good idea to have a timer just in general and have mods not work while in this “stealth” mode. My original idea was that it was meant for hiding so if you were trying to hide in a field of dead ships you yourself would want to appear “dead” so not moving and no mods being activated without ruining the stealth makes sense to me. Wouldn’t be fair for some miner to mine a bunch of hydrogen then lob missiles from across the map from hiding.

This is a great idea should be in rs,bls,ws obviously drs. So when you loose a ship in drs you get to see it just floating there. I would add one suggestion to this if its not here. If a transport with relic is destroyed in ws have faint blinking yellow dust particle(s) to represent the lost relic(s) obviously we cant pick them up because the ship destroys the relic on explosion but

but I dont' think invisibility is a good idea, that has a resound effect
