Due to the fact that Quantum Stars will probably allow corp-wide artifact trading (and it would just be nice regardless), I propose implementing a whitelist system for corporations that are join-by-request or closed. People on the white list would be allowed to bypass these restrictions. This would make managing red star events and white star teams much easier, plus making QS art trading quite a bit safer and easier to manage.

it will require a tremendous amount of code, and restructuring the entire code base, at least 3 weeks would be needed to implement such a groundbreaking feature like this /sarcasm

We have already sacrificed YS event in order to allow returning players to play red stars again, whitelist might come at the price of WS event or maybe even one of the weekend ones
