#Suggestion/bug bump channels

I understand the rule that you can't say "bump" in a thread to bring it to the top, since then people would be scrolling through endless "bump" messages, and that's no good.

I also noticed, however, that whenever I see a thread I haven't seen before (either because it's completely new; or because it was made when I wasn't around, and it got buried before I could see it), there's a good chance I would think "I haven't thought about this before, but now that it's mentioned, good point!", and react to the thread post (this is most applicable to #1206751668344197191, but it is applicable to #1197268069370835114 sometimes too).
I assume I am not alone in this.

Therefore, my suggestion is that the moderators (or whoever) would make a "bumping" thread in #1206751668344197191 and #1197268069370835114, or maybe 1 or 2 channels just under #memes-hadesstar or something.

How they would work is that instead of saying "bump" in whatever thread someone wants bumped, they would instead post the link in the bump channel/thread. And in order for the channel/thread to not get spammed, there would be a 48-hour message cooldown, and also a limit of how many links you can put in one post.
So then people could basically "advertise" the threads they like every 48 hours. They could consistently advertise just one, or they could vary what they advertise.

The 48-hour cooldown could of course be changed; I just wanted to give some sort of example.

And to be clear, people wouldn't need to advertise only their own posts. They could advertise other people's posts if they wanted.

Also, discord's thread search function is pretty bad, and this could help alleviate that.

I'd love it if you could sort suggestions by upvotes, and if there was a way to get rid of all the bloat.
