Galactic Live feed

Any active WS, BLS, or RS, in a live feed where any player in game can spectate only while said activity is actively happening.

Why? It's the reason why some keep asking for Galaxy chat: to know there are players doing stuff, in-game. As has been requested multiple times by the devs: ask about and speak about what the problem is.

So since the one of the problems created by losing Galaxy chat is we no longer see the activity in the game at large I offer the suggestion to show some activity: show the stuff that is happening in the game in real time.

This has the benefit of any player at any time having access to something in-game that shows them there's stuff happening.

Related, and I can't find where I've suggested this before but I'd swear I have: I'd like to be able to tap-hold over Red Star ID codes so as to copy them and a search bar somewhere in my Red Star Scanner where I can paste and search and find the replay for a past RS.

Many reasons but I shouldn’t need any besides I don’t want people watching me. I think that’s really straight forward. Respect my privacy. I don’t think WS should be mandatory viewing for all. I want the toggle to make them private back

When I want to be watched I’ll record it and share it. Should not be forced on us

It's not "forced" in that it's available to see in multiple places and ways already; nobody is "forcing" anyone to go watch any game, anywhere, at all. I'm suggesting putting all the viewable activity in the game in one place so players can, at a glance, see that stuff is happening and if they choose to go spectate any given activity that they can.

The suggestion reads as if all activities will be watchable. If it’s an opt in thing that’s entirely different. If I personally don’t want to be watched I should be able to opt out

Active runs already show in corps and Replays linger in a corporation chat long after an RS/DRS has ended, viewable by any in the corp. What I'm suggesting would only show those activities happening there and then and would not show them moment any given run has ended.

Perhaps extra steps for a toggle for where any player who opts out would mean that particular activity would then not be shown in the live "Galactic Live Feed" regardless of whatever is selected by the other players in the run could be added. Ok, why not? Just because I don't understand why doesn't mean the choice isn't valid.

Yes, it sounded like live meant all stars currently being played and not stars already currently viewable. You included bls on your list but have no watchable live matches.

I did and am suggesting an expanding of what's available as part of the Galactic Live Feed, yes. Perhaps on a server level including BLSs is not viable but none of what I'm suggesting is, of course, deal breaking. Perhaps all that's possible is RSs DRSs and WSs, okay fine. Having that somewhere that's easily viewable seems to be some of what players want; I'm suggesting a different way of packaging that experience.
