It's quite irrelevant how many battleships or squishies you have destroyed. What matters most is how many relics of your opponent have been destroyed / could not loaded and brought back in time. Also it's important how many of your own relics have been saved from destruction by your intervention. Especially the last point is difficult to count.
For your WS kill counter: Use a pen and paper ... and stick this note on your chest.

WS is a team match. There's no room for solo wannabe heroes.
