Blast shield doesn't affect people in radius, but rather absorbs damage from anything exploding in it's radius

So your vengance was eaten by the blast shield, and the rest of that damage after the shield broke went to both the other enemy and the blast shielder, which had too low health to handle the blast and died, while the other enemy lived due to more health and your vengance being weakened

Kinda annoying when a shield that has the downside of no shielding protects your enemies more than yourself.
