All combat mods would get this or only certain combat mods?
I'd say it could be rolled out a number of ways
Examples? I think some things that makes sense like wamp maybe but things like destiny and veng should stay fixed

For sure not shields. Do you want alpha shields with no cd? Because that’s the slippery slope to getting alpha shields with no cd
I think destiny and veng could 100% have CD reductions incrementally, but it'd be more appropriate in RS
The one minute CD in BLS works well for most mods

I still say no. That’s the entire point of regen is it’s got a faster refresh. So unless regen is also getting faster I think shields and the like should stay consistent

There's no point in using any other shield in a RS other then Regen (alpha only for clearing 1-2 sectors with Veng build)
Regen as it is now is awesome
I think for rs, suspends cooldown could also have a -5 second from CD each level. 5 minutes is a little excessive

I haven't seen someone use impulse 🤔high level (RS7 and up bracket)

It’s not common but Iv seen impulse in drs10-11. Not the best option but it gets the job done. Ally for rocket launcher builds and people who gate abuse use them to protect supports. But even if you want to ignore those alpha is the dominant shield used in drs10+ for attacking planets and motion is objectively better than regen and alpha
So omega,blast and mirror are really really useless even in higher RS (DRS 10-11)?
I think omega only exists now so lone bls have a shield in bls. Blast has been useless in rs for a long time. Its now an important ws mod but you dont need many so not everyone needs to level it. Mirror I am personally not a fan of. I dont think it does enough damage to warrant use until its incredibly high level. That said people do use it but I can’t say how much success they see. At this point drs has kinda been cracked and most players could probably run them in groups with anything. Iv seen some really wild stuff
I have a buddy using mirror with RL
technically it is since more hp means higher regeneration per second
honestly combats in rs should probably all get 2m cd
i wouldnt mind if shields got 2m cd 3m effect duration either

D9 safe, d10 more challenging last I checked
Mirror is core to the build to address sents that RL can't really answer.
Not saying it's better than a classic brawler, but he makes it work
@shy charm Used to run imp shield DR11 pretty good for clearing D11 planets if its high enough and you aren't able to do boom builds.

What about the cooldown time?
Did you clear a sector then wait till impulse reloaded or just moved on?
depends don't solo D11 and you need it to survive about 3m's per ship, last ship usualy had a new shield at the end when needed
I used it primarily to destroy phoenix/hydra
Phoenix shield is gone in 5 seconds when using imp in combination with suspend

Tele 14 is literally the only upgrade Iv been looking forward to in like 2 months. Don’t take this from me
what about keeping cooldown fixed just in bls?
The difference in bls is minimum for most levels. I figure most people are gonna have tele about equal to their rs level so unless you are like me and go way out of your way to level it you don’t see a huge benefit from the reduction. Do you not feel 25k prints is worth 5 seconds? Most other mods don’t get a cd reduction so most of the time you can’t really take advantage of it anyway. Most people I need have level 10-12 I will have 14 so that’s a 10-12 second gain. Is that really too much?
I’ll admit 30 seconds at 15 is extreme but that’s so far away I’m not sure how big of a deal it’ll be
Is it really so far away? People are getting to lvl14s that's halfway there, but now for the second half they have their mining already sorted out and bigass ab, so that won't take as long
I think higher lvl mods should have lower CDs in RS 100%, makes it faster paced, more skill expression
Even with ab14 that’s like another 5 months of one color, yes it’s quite far away
I guess we had different perspectives what "far away" meant. For a potentially game breaking imbalance that sounds rather close to me 😅
Ps: 50k with a pure diet is 140 days of ab14, 130 days of ab15
Ofc not many are at 50k quite yet, and that's kinda mutually exclusive with ab15 atm
That’s 140 days of one color plus having played for a minimum of like 4 years of game time for the cap. I’m not saying it’s not strong just that it’s a lot of effort I don’t think it’s unreasonable to get some fun stuff. At level 15 do you not think we should be a bit op? Making players feel powerful is generally a good thing

I just hope we won't regret it midway through next year if pvp becomes ridiculously unfun with rs12/25m mods
Teleport shaves a few seconds off the cooldown. I think this should apply to some other combat mods.
