#Ability to stop Chain Ray Support

Issue:
Since we can’t support another ship CR until we aren’t being supported from another ships CR.

Seen many times in WS where ship 1 wants to CR support ship 2 but can’t because ship 1 is already being CR supported by ship 3 and ship 3 is AFK 4ever.

Resolution:
Would be amazing if we could stop another friendly ship from supporting our ships CR.

I’m of the opinion this is one small trade of for using the best ws weapon in the game. High cost high reward. Work together or fail

Maybe make it so that you can turn off receiving support if you want to
But till that makes it into the game, you can always move out of support range and then come back

This. I sometimes need to support someone just to keep my support lines clear from overenthusiastic teammates that can't fast forward and see I have scheduled an important support that they have inadvertently canceled.

shrug when you leave any other activation/play in tm and don’t communicate the team is punished why should cr be the only exception?

that's pretty poor analogy. cr is complex with its support links that no other weapon has. it doesn't have to frustrate what players hope to achieve just because you hate it.

I agree the support bug needs fixed. I have taken to never putting support orders in tm I just set an alarm because they always fail

this would be a QoL improvement for CR users - there's no legitimate reason to oppose it

I do agree that CR is a BEAST in WS.

Only because of its range and switchability. Makes for quite stale gameplay. Would love to see other weapons make a comeback but that’s not gonna happen

For example nerfing its base range from 160au to normal weapon range of 120au would make teaming up mandatory and increase margins of error where they could be caught out of position.
But not making it hard to coordinate, that's just malicious. Optimal use with CR switching is already difficult enough requiring 2-3 people to be online at the same time when a reaction to enemy action is needed.

The base range isn’t really the issue. Any weapons with extended range should be blockable like dart and rl are via barrier. Cr needs a counter that’s not more cr

and make weapons like dart able to reach cr (though its not likely anyone will use dart)

just dont AFK linked to someone unless its fully needed. solves alot of problems.
