passive
reduces damage taken from sources outside of a certain range. for aoe damage, the distance is taken to be the center of the aoe circle. for barrier damage, the distance is taken to be the distance to the center of the barrier
range: 100 au
reduction: 30-75%

Latent shield
passive
absorbs all damage taken, and applies the stored damage to the hull every 2 seconds (20m in ws). the applied damage cannot exceed a certain percentage of the total hull strength
max percent: 90% decreasing to 20%

Enclosure (combat)
active
encloses the current sector. enemy ships can move into an enclosed sector but cannot move out of it. this is a sector effect so it remains even after the activating ship has died
duration: 4-22s rs, 40m-2h30m ws, 3-12s bls

Displace (combat)
active
enters a 10s/4h charging duration, after which enemies within range will be teleported to the asteroid within their respective sectors that is furthest from the activating ship
range: 100,110,120,130,140,150,160,170,180,190,205,220,235,250,270 for ws (beaten by barrier 2 levels down)
