Why though?
Currently relic drone gets deployed to one place and returns when full to the gate.
Shipment drone gets deployed to one place and then goes to several different places until it runs out of time or fuel.
Those things are not at all the same.
Adding RS functionality could be neat, but I don't think it solves any problems for gameplay.
the drone could salvage the artifacts in rs tho, since if not, people just feed it to red star extend
Could do relic/art drone just remember once its full it departs
So the problem is that there's not enough time to get salvage from an RS?
It's a neat idea, but feels like a solution looking for a problem.
so basically, if u use relic drone in rs, the drone will get all the artifact and go to ur gate, then salvage all the artifact
so u don't have to use ur transport space to get those lower level artifact

in normal rs, the amount of time available is very abundant and not very much needed to rse
I understood you. I'm asking why that's important. What aspect of lacking gameplay does that solve for? There's only so much dev time/effort to go around. Why would making this change be impactful?
Again, it feels neat, but not impactful
dunno, just extra like 4k-16k more per normal rs
or instead of relic drone, we use shipment drones, their bonus will also affect the salvage amount
and balance how upgrade affect the capacity
So the problem is lack of income?
It should go back to gate and just sit on research station, when it jumps back it targets research station no control 
Better to make a different drone because I’m sure doing that would cause bugs or be more difficult
But in RS the drone could cost hydro to activate like shipment drone
The problem then becomes, what is upgrade? capacity, cost of hydro, load time, maybe it upgrades like flagship, so then it unlocks stealth at lvl 8-10 idk haha
Another idea is to send the art drone to pick up the arts, go back to the jump gate, and then wait at the research station. The drone would either be disbanded when the arts are loaded for research, or auto salvaged after a certain time period.
Relics and Artifacts aren't the same thing but if you combined them under the same one module and used the Relic Drone code in WS and Artifact drone in YS then you'd only need to upgrade one module. The question is, what is the reason in gameplay and game for having them separate? I don't know the answer to those two questions.
A shipment, relic and art drone all in one assembly. Same thing goes for the rush module. Works in all stars under different conditions.
Imagine if there were three separate rush modules one for each of WS/YS/RS? Big oof...
Well art drone being separate would be easier because you just start from scratch and probably not as many bugs I think idk how that works really tho
You could do subcategories for each module I guess and upgrade them separately per star if thats better? 
That would terrible you would need so many blueprints
On the other hand, it's another module to max out
Shipment drone needs no more incentive to upgrade. I agree a support drone for rs should be added, perhaps it could be a dual use for relic drone
Picture this. Shipment drone is usable only in yellow stars. Relic drone is only usable in white stars. Add the red drone feature, combine everything into one module, and you'll have much less things to research. Easy solution works for everyone.
useable in RS and let it pick up arts for user. And let it function as a shipment drone in YS. Make it an all-in-one module.
