Make veng an activatable module
Upon activation, incoming damage ignores shield
For the next few seconds, every point of damage taken by the hull adds x points of damage into a buffer
At the end of the activation period, shields start taking damage normally and the damage buffer is applied as area damage around the ship

Downsides are that Andreas will have to change the lone battleship ai
Mirror shield is very similar to this mod, imo it should be changed to old mirror shield which applied direct damage

I think if Vengeance became an activeatable module, it would probably become too similar to Destiny to make it worth existing separately.

However, I do like the flavour of Vengeance's power being directly linked to the actual amount of damage taken over the time it takes to get mad about it and explode - very cool idea.

The goal is that veng users will have to balance between taking too little and too much damage while their shield is nullified

#

Plus they will have to conserve their health for maximal effect instead of charging in with low health and alpha shield
