Dark Nebula did a great job of making every Miner module slot useful, and there are valid reasons to choose one module over another on Miners 5,6, even 7.
This was pretty good in OGHS as well.

But Transport modules have always been lacking. I have a few ideas for some Transport Modules, new and old, to bring into WS. They probably have RS uses too, but I’m more interested in discussing WS.

RECALL

  1. A transport can deploy a RECALL NODE (a stationary drone). This node becomes an available waypoint/docking point. It stays there until the Transport that deployed it, leaves the Star System (dying or porting out)

  2. A transport can activate RECALL, targeting any allied ship’s Recall Node. This will start a 12hr timer. Upon the completion of the 12hr activation delay, the transport will teleport to the Recall Node.
    The Node remains there until Transport leaves the system

  3. During the 12hr activation delay, the Transport may spend a Relic to target another allied ship within a certain radius. That ship stops in place, as it prepares to Teleport with the Recall Transport.

Upgrading the module to higher levels increases the radius of Recall targeting, and the maximum number of Ships can be teleported (each costing one Relic)

DROP SHIELD
Similar to Flagship, but not as powerful. Transports can deploy a Drop Shield. It’s an Ally Shield.
Deploying a Drop Shield costs one Relic.

ENTRUSTS
Bring back Entrust. Same as it was - at least for WS.

Not as thought through as OP's suggestions, but I am thinking something like:

Shockwave: transport spends a relic and it causes a shockwave, pushing enemy ships away to the radius of the shock wave radius (probably at impulse speed)

Would be used to repel enemy ships, but at the cost of a relic.

Enemy ships using fortify would not be affected

The TS needs a mod which reduces the Artifact/Relic collection time. It doesn’t have to be crazy but start it out at 2% and add 1% per level or something like that.

TS should also have a mod which boosts artifact BPS by a % which can be added in conjunction with the Art Boost from the Miner

Or what about a mod that deploys ā€œloading dronesā€ to a planet, that speeds up losing for all ships and drones docked at that location for a duration?

Or allow Shipment Drone to load a single (or more based on level) artifact and then once full, take it straight to gate

Then you have to deal with where to store them which needs to be its own station but that is a different thread

I would like a war plane mod that allows you to connect equal level planets that transports can spend a relic to use. (Available to both teams)

And someone has to drop a gate there

So you can drop a warp gate and that can warp gate you to any warp gate of the same planet level for the cost of 1 relic.

Relic Drones could not use it

Interesting… so that would be 2 relics then? 1 for each gate?

Like, combine 2 lvl 9 Miner Arts makes the Base blueprint value go up by a small amount
