Hi everyone,

since the latest RaceRoom updates I am experiencing frequent disconnects of my wheelbase during races. In almost every race the wheelbase disconnects at least once, which makes it impossible to compete reliably.

This started immediately after the recent updates and did not happen before.

Hardware setup:

  • Fanatec ClubSport DD+ wheelbase

  • SRM Emulator V7 Midi

  • Ascher Racing Artura Ultimate wheel

  • Heusinkveld Ultimate+ pedals

The Fanatec DD+ supports multiple operating modes. During the disconnect, the wheelbase switches automatically from PC mode (red LED) to the next available mode Playstation (blue LED), as if it was reconnected or reset.

The disconnects happen while driving, without any manual interaction. This issue occurs only in RaceRoom. With the same hardware setup, I do not see any disconnects or mode switches in other sims.

Is this a known issue after the recent updates?
Thanks!

Delete the New Fanatec Software and install old legacy Driver 474 (?). Then Update your Firmware manually.

If you use the other functions from the New App, then load old Fanalab too

Had the same Problem with DD Pro

id download ccleaner , unplug all fana hardware uninstal all fanatec drivers and software, run the registry tool in ccleaner , save and delete the stuff shown , restart pc , rerun ccleaner same thing ... now download all drivers software , plug in hardware and install fana stuff , reboot pc

this helps with fana registry errors which can be common

First of all, thank you very much for the quick help 😊 .

The app could not be uninstalled and was no longer visible in Windows under Settings → Apps. As a result, the Fanatec installer always aborted. The root cause was a corrupted Windows Installer entry. This was clearly visible in the log: error 1606.

I resolved the installation issue by forcibly uninstalling the application via the MSI ProductCode, without using any INSTALLFOLDER parameters (msiexec /x {F6A28FA9-…}) and then rebooting the system. After that, the Fanatec App could be installed normally again. Additionally, I cleaned the registry using CCleaner.

So far in the first race, there have been no wheelbase disconnects.
