so, as the title suggests I'm here to gather your opinions about getting a new (first) pc for sim racing. don't know if this is the right place to post something like this, but oh well.
honestly, I'm a bit tired of not being able to do hotlaps at 7-10 fps, with everything on minimum settings (don't even question about races, cause that's a whole different level).
of course, I'll eventually want to try other platforms, like iracing and lmu, but first I'll use raceroom to improve, and I don't really think I can improve more, whenever I hit the brakes, the fps drop significantly. so, I'll list here the components of my future pc, and hopefully you guys tell me what I should or shouldn't buy:
CPU - ryzen 7 9700x 8 core
MB - msi pro b840p wifi
GPU - rtx 5060 ti 16gb
RAM - corsair vengeance 2×16gb
Storage - seagate 2tb hdd + corsair mp600 2tb ssd
PSU - msi mag a850gl 850w
(also, I'm on a budget, the life of a musician is not sunshine and rainbows so, trying to keep the build under the 1500€)
