i recently switched o a new 21:9 monitor but thein game options do not have the choice to pick that ratio now? anything i can do to get it back again?

You could try editing this file: ...\Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData and then graphics_options.xml

for me it looks like this:
<screenWidth type="uint32">1920</screenWidth> <screenHeight type="uint32">1080</screenHeight> for example

I would try changing those values to the one your monitor supports. And then start the game.

Then also set it like this
<windowMode type="int32">1</windowMode>`
1 is full screen.

Hm, then i'm out of ideas. Should work, even when not showing the option in game.
