#Smoothing out steering

HI Folks:

I am running a Logitech G27 wheel and pedals set, and I like it, only problem right now is the wheel is small -- like 10 inches or so, so every little movement I make gets magnified in the wheels of the car -- when I was in iRacing, there was a setting called damping that helped to settle out those little movements, also helped smooth out larger movements keeping me from being jerky. I'm looking for a similar setting here in Raceroom. Can anyone help -- also if there is info in the car settings etc. that would help with it please let me know. The ideal solution is to replace the wheel and pedal set with something better, but currently unable to work and waiting on disability, that's not realistic right now, so I'm looking for other options.

Thanks
TIM

Hi Tim, make sure to have the same steering angle that you see on the car's setup screen when in garage (top right) also set in your Logitech driver software. Normally that angle of rotation is transmitted to your wheel's software every time you chose a car with a different angle. That's not guaranteed to work properly on some wheels though. So you'll have to set it manually. Also keep in mind that every setting regarding steering linearity must be set to 50% in-game. If your have such a setting in the Logi driver also set it to give a linear output. That should do the trick, nothing wrong with your G27.
