Good morning, can you who are more experienced than me tell me how to reset the FOV parameters back to standard?

give me 5 minutes, i'll take a look in my game

#

so my defaults are (never changed them):
monitor: 27"
distance: 11,8" 30 cm
hight: 0.0" 0cm
pitch: 0°
monitor might of course be different for you.
But to be fair i don't know if there is any way of knowing what the default values are for one person.

Thank you but I thought there was a button to reset the POV values to default

for POV (seat position and persspective shift) you can bind a button to reset that view. Not sure there's a default for FOV as Shorty already said. Just roughly enter your screenzize and distance and adjust from there to your liking. Especially for screens smaller 27inches the mathematically correct FOV often feels way too zoomed in.

Back in the old ui days the fov was set up with values from 0.smth to 1 or even higher as 1, which resembled the factor between your eyes distance to the screen and half the width of your screen, with 1 being the default fov. That applied to the current fov setup page means you take your screen width as it is and set the distance to half your screen width.
With @frail olive monitor the default fov should be 27" width/13.5" distance

Thank you all for the information

from what I found today, it looks like the game uses vFOV 62 degrees as default value, but in the game it shows you hFOV that it calculates based on your resolution ratio

#

so someone with 16:9 monitor will see a different default value than someone with a 21:9 monitor for example

#

but their vertical field of view will be the same
