For me 60% rear left in the end. I think hard tire is better, because if you are getting tired in the end with that 16% will be a really big struggle. Unfortunately I spun, headed the wall, had to do reverse and to more almost spin and in the end I could not catch Gasper. If only one more lap 😄

But it makes sense - around 350 HP I4 vs. 520 HP V8, not that you can expect anything different.
Looking at the competition or leaderboard, the cars are pretty equal.
The mustang is just fast on the back straight, but that's more or less it.

I don't think there's anything you could've done. The natural thing to do would be to take the inside, which is what you did, and they cut straight in front of you, leaving you nowhere to go.
The only way you could've avoided a collision would have been to run wide right around the corner. But when the stationary cars came into view, the outside line was blocked and wasn't an option.
If the two cars had just stayed put until you had passed then you wouldn't have had any problem.
Totally not your fault and nothing you could've done.

You have your answer to that one. The yellow flag didn't appear until Rossi was already in the braking zone, so his corner entry speed was already 'done and dusted', secondly he was completely unsighted due to his view of the incident being hidden by the wall. Also, it was a long, blind off camber turn that dropped away over a crest. Which is not the easiest type of corner to negotiate at anywhere near racing speed. So I would've thought Rossi's eyeline and concentration would've been focused on a different part of the screen than where the flags are displayed.
I'm sure that there has been occasions when you have failed to notice a yellow flag. Indeed, I would defy anyone to say that they have, in all honesty, not once failed to see a flag.
Anyone who says otherwise, I would suggest is telling 'porkies'.

Thanks for bringing that up again...like 3 days late. I wasn't going to derail the sub channel even more as I figured by now you guys would have noticed you can already see the accident happening in the distance. So no need to wait for a yellow flag. Also...at no point in the video are both cars hidden by the wall. Knowing the driving standards in this game I would have stayed on the brakes a little longer straight into the turn to not enter the turn on the limit and likely be able to evade the geniuses that will hit the throttle asap, no matter the traffic. I tend to look a bit further down the road rather than keeping my eyes on the end of my bonnet. But then again....It could be the same Rossi that was on the Nords the other day in a red Corvette...well...ehem
Regarding the flags...yellow or whatever colour: It annoyed me quite a few times that I had missed yellow flags for whatever reasons. Easy solution for me was clicking some 8x8 RGB Matrix and a arduino nano(?), wiring it together and hooking it up through USB to my PC and run SimHub in the background. Works like a charm and works with most other sims as well out of the box. Hard to oversee the yellow flashing light now. Also has the neat side effect that SimHub logs your lap and sector times.

nah, that's what the RGB LED matrix is for. you'll just have a light that changes colour based on the flags. so more of a physical representation of the flag icon that can appear on screen
