I have been driving the dpi a bit yesterday but I struggle a lot with it under braking. I soften it all around and that made it already a lot more stable into corners. But I still struggle in heavy braking zones. Any Idea how to make it more compliant?

I use 97% brake pressure, BB at 55% (or what you're comfortable with), engine brake reduction at 20, increasing diff preload and diff coast locking a bit might also help.
Most important is to not lock the rear brakes. Try coasting into corners and brake a tiny bit earlier than you think you would have to

And in general you have to be gentle with your steering while braking

Alright, pro tip just for you: 😉
Take the DPi to a single player race, half distance of the ranked race, in total 10 DPi and 16 GTR3s (or just take the full dtm21 grid) at AI level 104-106.
That's what I'm mostly driving and without traffic it is sometimes a struggle to even keep up with the AI.
If you can manage to stay at least in the mid pack of the DPi's you should be good imho, since there aren't too many players using the DPi in ranked anyway

What track and stint lengths? For Le Mans, for example, it's not that hard to multi-stint tyres when stints are, what, 40 minutes or so? And they're driving mostly in a straight line

i think with some tweaks the car is a lot more enjoyable to drive, on default it is just increadibly hard to drive while being not that quick

If yes, 2x mediums, if not, try to go 20 minutes mediums and switch to hards

If you have to pit earlier, you should refill the full 75 litres. I think in total about 100-110 litres will be needed
