First of all, it's not R3E related (having the same issue in AC as well), but I thought to post it here hoping that someone may have a solution.
The issue I'm having is that I can feel bumps, kerbs, grass, but lock-ups, loss of grip are non-existent. I have no understanding of what the tires are doing. It's like the FFB cuts out when cornering. Only thing I feel is a constant centering force in the wheel. (Btw, FFB is enabled in game.)
What's even more frustrating is that I cannot find a cause: G HUB didn't update, Windows didn't update, I did nothing to upset the G29's routine (so to speak).
Tried unplugging/plugging the wheel, making adjustments in G HUB, rebooting, power cycle, G HUB uninstall/install, driver uninstall/install, nothing worked.
I'm very curious if someone else has or had this issue. And what else I can try to solve it.

Can try using LGS, the previous software. Theres a topic on the forum with additional instructions
Tried LGS, not much of a difference: bumps, kerbs feel as normal, but I'm still disconnected to what the tires are doing. Found the forum thread, did as you said, but no improvement.
I'm starting to think that something internal in the wheel is malfunctioning. And that may be the root of the problem.
can you show the ingame FFB meter when you feel it's not right?
T4 @ Interlagos, Elantra TCR (this is the car I use to test, as I can tell when a FWD car doesen't fell right to drive.)
No clipping issues. Green line gets near the red one during cornering, but I still can't fell the fronts.
Also, I didn't messed with the in-game FFB settings. They are the same as always.
I know this is a really strange issue, but I want to figure it out. Here is another thing: when I hold the wheel at 360 degrees, G HUB is showing a slightly different number. At this is constant both left and right - a difference in degrees between my input and what is shown. Can it be that something internal is malfunctioning? Maybe the optical encoder?

I turn mine both side and it stand at 360 +/-1.
I turn both way at 450 degree and it show 449 and -450.
Sadly I'm not good with FWD to give feedback.
Did you try to do manual calibration and see if it improve the turning?
I did manual calibration, no difference.
Don't know if it's useful or no. I hope it will help you.

New discovery. https://www.adamsmagnetic.com/sites/default/files/AM_whitepaper_gluing_RE_magnets.pdf Please read this link to learn a bit more about my theory that Logitech may have had a miscalculation about the adhesive used for the somarium cobalt magnet supplied with the units. It is also possible that the magnet could be weak and that the n...
@sterile gull you mentioned that you didn't mess with the in game settings. Go there you gonna find a FFB Linearity option. With your wheel it should be on 70% by default. Bump it to 85-90% and check how this feels.
Ok, will try.
@muted snow Nope, didn't fix it.
I think I need to have a look at the hall effect sensor.
Yeah maybe is something in wheel itself
Disassembled the wheel base. Magnet was clean and functioning properly. Nothing on the hall effect board and on the main board was loose or burnt. Issue still persists.
Did you take picture of what was inside?
No. But all looked in order.
