#Thrustmaster T80 settings

I can't keep the car under control at all, even the slower cars like the tatuus f4
So any help would be appreciated, this is my first time using a wheel so I'm struggling to get my head around all the stuff
it's hard without force feedback
any specific part where you lose it? like udner braking, corner exit etc?
well, im not bad enough to seek help with mouse so its possible 😛
@eager galleon feel free to record some driving with inputs on the screen
I'll record some stuff
i see the wheel has some low angle of rotation, maybe you hit lock pretty fast?
try to record with the input widget visible
He will need to play with steering angle as well as car settings
But I’m not expert lol 😂
maybe gtr2 would be the better sim to get acclimated, since it was made for that wheel rotation 😄
He can add more rotation as well but it might help a lil in main setup
How degrees of rotation does the wheel have 🤔
*many
270
😬
See if you can upgrade for the wheel itself, after update you might have 900 degrees of rotation
It was a update a few days ago
i think that wheel is already an upgrade
I meant update the system lol Mybad
although used t258/150 would be more recommended
the only other pointer i have is to try to not mix brake and steering input until you have developed a bit of feeling on the brakes and you can judge how much steering angle you can give
@eager galleon how much did u pay for the wheel? 😛
£109
i assume it was new? why didnt u grab some outlet/second hand ffb wheel?
You can try local facebook or anything like that for used wheels , I got mines for $40 usd
i know it's not helpful to say to try to get a refund for something you just bought, but it's really just 10 quid more
where sound 👀
imo it would be better with some solo runs, i dont know if you lose the car or ai bumps you from behind
inputs seem exaggerated
does the car have abs?
I lose the car by myself, I can feel the rear end slide out
When I brake
I'm fairly sure the car does have abs
It's the corvette from the GTR2 class
@eager galleon send pic from first car setup screen (entire screen)
okay first off you apply way too much steering angle in relation to how much brake you're applying sometimes
cars without TC are super sensitive to that
and another here before a spin
you can absolutely do this, but you need to be smoother with the steering as well maybe reducing the brake pressure where you attempt a turn in to like 60%, but it depends a lot on the car
it's possibly easier to brake in a straight line and turn in after you're done braking, you can work on trail braking when you feel more comfy with your set
Yeah I realised what I had done wrong on that occasion
It's unlearning previous bad habits
With so little steering angle, I'd advise you to lower your car's steering lock as much as you can. For most tracks, 8-9 degrees is enough. Only a few tracks would need more than that.
Given the settings a bit of a change, seems a lot better
Thank you all for the advice
I generally struggle with understeer so I've increased it for Brands
Would changing the brake bias help?
