We had today a race on Falkenberg and one of the driver had to start from the pitlane
He drove to the end of the pitlane and get a DQ
Perhaps understandable in itself, but he did not see any starting lights in the pit lane as you normally see at the start of a race.
Is that a bug in the game or did he set something wrong?

did he speed by some chance and not follow pit speed limit?

He drove before the lights went to green, but he didn't see any starting light from the pitlane

You don't see starting lights but there is a timer that counts down. Before that he is not allowed to move or he gets a DQ.

# rigid sphinx You don't see starting lights but there is a timer that counts down. Before that...

The timer has nothing to do with the starting light.
When you click on drive before the counter is on 0, you get an place on the grid.
When you click on drive after the countdown, you start from the grid.
When you have a delay of 0 you wil also put on the grid, but with a delay for at least 1 second you stay in the pit.
But you never see starting light when starting from the pit. 😢
I could set the delay longer but than you have to figurate out on which place the person stands in the pit.
Some nice solution could be: DNF wil always set behind at the grid in a second race.
Or the driver can drive to the end of the pit late where the lights stays on red as long as the last driver on the grid don't pass the pit exit

the countdown i mean is not the 60 seconds to form the gird. it is another countdown for when you start from the pit. when you start the car before the countdown ends you get a dq.
