Having no end of problems with R3E. The game has a mind of its own as to whether it works or not. I've tried starting the game with the wheel off, then on. I've tried it in compatibility mode. 50% of the time it doesn't work. What's the deal? I really want to give this game a chance but its testing my patience.

I have used a DD1 all day every day for several years now and have no issues. Are you using the latest firmware and drivers?

Thanks for the reply. I probably need to check for an update on the wheel. Scared to as Ive heard some horror stories with bad updates. This at least gives me hope. Such a great game otherwise!

Should not ever be necessary to run in compatibility mode. Are you using a dedicated USB slot just for the wheel or do you use a junction box?

Firmware and driver update fixed it. Almost bricked the wheel lol.
Feel a bit silly now.

It happened again today. Just after I got ACCFFB working with Vjoy. So I turned Vjoy off and hey presto it works.
Guessing this causes interference.
Well at least I have the latest drivers and firmware now lol
