Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
j'aimerai, je casserai, j'irai
first person singular, future simple is always -ai
although there are exceptions to the stem like in aller -> irai
Your examples:
- j'aimerais (conditionnel)
- j__e__ casserais (conditionnel)
- j'allais (imparfait)
None of these are futur simple, the endings of futur simple are present tense avoir:
ai
as
a
ons
ez
aient
The stem is usually the infinitive (without the -e for -re verbs), though not 100% of the time
If you already know conditionnel, the stems of futur simple and conditionnel are the exact same
note that writing -ais or even -ait instead of -ai is a very common mistake in native speakers
