Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

Uses of ’Genre’

genre in "C’est genre un problème" and in "C’est un genre de problème" are not exactly the same. In the former, it's a filler word. You should be able to take it out of your sentence and lose no meaning:

"Mon père est~~, genre,~~ super strict"

That's very casual spoken French. Some even put it at the end of a sentence:

"Mon père est super strict, genre"
