#A relatively basic question

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
A relatively basic question
While there are patterns, such as words ending in -ion often being feminine, there are no rules. I'm afraid you'll have to memorise and reinforce that by using what you learn.
The way you determine it is exactly like that, by putting an article
Bc that's what gender does anyway, it affects the words around the noun
So if you have a system to learn vocabulary, don't take notes of nouns alone, give them an article
