Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Output is ultimately a different skill from input, so you have to put work specifically into that. And at first, it's for sure going to be rough/intimidating. This is where textbooks/exercises can be really helpful, since they give you a framework to start putting these pieces together. You could try #français-débutant, knowing and accepting you're going to make 1 million mistakes, but that's often too intimidating
