Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

It takes much more than one year to become proficient in a language, especially in a way that sticks. You may be able to communicate most things after a year, but it will typically be filled with errors, unnatural expressions, etc

1 year is not enough espescially not with duolingo. i have been learning french for 5 years and i am not native yet, it took me this long to even start to say "i speak french". @tacit quest

i would reccomend as well tutoring tho thats pay to play i am one of those people
