Please be patient
Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
not a native speaker, but this is the answer wordreference gives for the difference between the two
French doesn't really have the concept of boring in the way English does. Usually there's more implication of annoyance or simply a word synonymous with annoying. "S'ennuyer" is the closest you'll get to the English meaning, but it's not always appropriate. "Plate" in Canada also gets close, but isn't universal nor a 1:1
Personally:
- Je me suis ennuyé(e)
- Je t'ennuie? (May reword depending on context)
- T'es plate!
(Might be able to use "t'es chiant" but be VERY careful with it, "t'es ennuyeux" works I guess but idk if I've ever heard anyone say that.) - Cause toujours [, tu m'intéresses]/Continue, tu m'intéresses
