Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

French doesn't really have the concept of boring in the way English does. Usually there's more implication of annoyance or simply a word synonymous with annoying. "S'ennuyer" is the closest you'll get to the English meaning, but it's not always appropriate. "Plate" in Canada also gets close, but isn't universal nor a 1:1

Personally:

  • Je me suis ennuyé(e)
  • Je t'ennuie? (May reword depending on context)
  • T'es plate! flag_qc (Might be able to use "t'es chiant" but be VERY careful with it, "t'es ennuyeux" works I guess but idk if I've ever heard anyone say that.)
  • Cause toujours [, tu m'intéresses]/Continue, tu m'intéresses
